This is a *great* company! We wanted a charging station for our EV, and knew it would be a challenging job: finished garage, high ceiling, fully loaded power panel, impossible attic space. Castle Electric had us take pictures, discussed the job with us AND asked all the right questions. They were able to keep the wiring hidden in the wall like I requested, and the installation is very clean. The whole installation from start to finish was completed in just 1 hour 30 minutes. They also hardwired the EVSE and put it on a 50 amp breaker for some future-proofed charging capacity.

I had Robert and Braydin come install a 48amp electric vehicle charger in my garage. They showed up on time and worked efficiently. The location of my breaker box is on the opposite side of the house from my garage, so there was a lot of distance that was needed to be covered. They did a great job of hiding some of the wiring behind the drywall as well. The project was relatively complex because of the distance between my box and the garage, but they finished in about 5 hours.

He was able to come out the next day to install our Tesla wall charger and he did a great job. Only took a couple of hours to finish. I had John install a Rivian charging station. He added onto work done by another electrician who ran electrical to our garage. The previous electrician left a tremendous amount of drywall shavings and a mess in our garage. These guys cleaned up. It was punched out well. Moreover, I was able to do the whole quote using FaceTime. They completed the installation within 48 hours of first contact. I really feel that they were customer focused and we're extremely responsive. I'm not used to people doing work on my house quickly, cleanly and without any drama. I trust that if there are any issues, John and his crew will fix it.

I had an electric dryer that kept shutting off mid-cycle and was told by another electrician that I needed a new dryer! Also my patio outlets were dead and I had an electrician spend two hours try unsuccessfully to solve the issue. I called Castle and spoke to John and Robert and Jacob showed up within 45 minutes. They identified and fixed the patio issue within 10 minutes and rewired my dryer which had both bad wiring and the wrong size breaker! I was so impressed by their professionalism and knowledge!!!! Robert and Jacob were awesome! They were able to install a new 240V outlet (NEMA 14-50) and my electric car charger exactly where I wanted it. They also routed the line from my box/panel up through the garage attic so the conduit is hidden. Additionally, they sealed off the line from my box where it entered the garage so no bugs or other animals can gain access. The new breaker looks great too and they labeled everything. On the front end, John was really fast at getting me scheduled and very knowledgeable; he answered all my questions and also let me know when Robert and Jacob were on their way. Really appreciate the efficient and professional scheduling and installation. John even stopped by afterwards to help me out due to some user error on my part regarding which amperage I was using for my wall charger. Highly recommend Castle Electrical & Lighting!

Then I had another electrician set up but they canceled on me the day before service. But alas, Castle saved the day! I was in a real bind with my tankless hot water heater not functioning for a couple of days. I had called my plumber, they flushed the system and still my hot water heater kept shutting off at the circuit breaker. I was getting ready to leave town on personal business in 5 days. My electrical panel was having some issues so I called several Electricians to make an appointment. Castle Elec did everything and more than I could expect at a fair price. He pointed out ways to make the install of my Tesla charger more efficient which I appreciated and made his job take longer to help me. Once completed with the install he stayed and tested the charger and panel. I will definitely call Castle Elec with all my future electric needs.

What a great experience! I found this company on Yelp and sometimes you can’t guarantee you’ll get good service, but they went above and beyond! John was so extremely professional and courteous. He came the same day I called for an in home estimate to install an outlet on my back patio and scheduled me for the service in the same week. Not only did he tell me ahead of time what window he would be coming out, he also followed up the day of and sent me a text to let me know he’d be over in 30 minutes.

You don’t see that a lot with customer service, unfortunately...companies actually following through on what they said they would do. The outlet is perfect and I will definitely be using them again for electrical needs.

John was referred to me and came by today to do some repairs in my home. He was punctual, clean, professional, and very fair priced. I Would highly recommend him; he will be coming back to do some further work in the future!
Ps. Right off the bat I asked him to takeoff his shoes or wear my booties and Off came his shoes immediately. Nice to have someone that does a good job and is very respectful of your home!

I would highly recommend Castle Electric. John worked with me to prepare an accurate and fair bid. He was on time and professional. He noticed that when another company installed an AC unit in my garage they overloaded a circuit breaker and for a nominal fee rearranged the box to bring it back to code. I will use Castle again

We hired Castle Electrical & Lighting to move and upgrade our panel from 150A to 200A. Our home was built in the late 60's and we had an overhead power line that was too close to the pool. SRP said it was fine, but Scottsdale said it wasn't. I interviewed 7 different electricians, asking each one the same questions. Castle Electric stood out for their professional knowledge, experience, and value. The quotes ranged from very high to very low and Castle Electric came in at the middle. In the end, we wanted it done right and you get what you pay for.

Once the job was scheduled, John applied for the city permit, worked with the city inspectors, and scheduled everything with SRP. I realize that this may be standard practice, but everything was very easy. John and his team worked efficiently and were EXTREMELY detail oriented.

Aside from our full panel move and upgrade, we have since hired Castle to correct an issue in our sub panel as well as install dedicated circuits in my workshop. I'm sure we will have other projects in the future.

This guy really saved my bacon. I had a guy from another company out who diagnosed a “problem” in my panel and suggested I need to replace every single breaker for about $3k. I called John and he was able to tell me over the phone that this solution didn’t make sense. He came out the next day and was able to fix the issue (and install a couple new timers) for $250. Castle Electric is the new electrician contact in my phone. Call them. You won’t be disappointed.

Our 24 hour mechanical timer broke. When I reached out and sent pictures of the timer and housing, John advised the wrong voltage was currently installed.

They came out the next day and the replacement was done quickly.
