Best Way Sewer & Drain Service

I had a septic inspection and service by this company around 4 months ago. I called the owner to get some documentation regarding the services rendered then, as I was not given a receipt. The owner of Best Way was rude and informed me that he doesn’t maintain records for work performed on homes. He then accused me of running my septic system over with a semi. (There is nothing wrong with the septic, I just wanted documentation for the services rendered. I paid $950 for a clean out and inspection. Best way denies doing the inspection and states they have no records of servicing my home. The owner does remember being at my home, digging up my tank, pumping it, installing risers and new caps. The owner got angry at my requests for any form of documentation that would confirm he did the work sometime in the summer of 2022. He got upset and he hung up on me. Steer clear of this outfit if you require paperwork, receipts or anything showing that they are a legitimate business, or where they have been hired to work.

A property that I rent has septic and over the past years we have had many problems with it.We are a marketing firm VMS Data and we like to use the services of our local clients and today was that day.I called Jay and he was able to come out to our property the same day. He was the 4th I contacted the others were not available til the next day.Once the driver showed up he hooked up and pumped out under an hour with no problems.I chatted with him a moment and the gentleman was his son Jay Jr and really was the nicest and most polite man I have met that works out in the heat doing literally a dirty job and still has such a great attitude.The price was right and the service was excellent!

We were in a bind on the afternoon of New Year's Eve, thinking we needed our septic pumped. I called several services with no availabilities because of the holiday. When I spoke to Jay, he was currently working in our area and said he would do his best to fit us in when he was done with his current job. He called me back within an hour, came and examined our septic and noted that it did not need to be pumped. It had a clog which he quickly fixed.... at no charge! We typically don't see this type of service anymore, someone who is willing to go out of their way like this to assist a customer. Jay made the difference in how we started out the new year and his business ethic and generosity was greatly appreciated. Would definitely use him and recommend him for future services.

Cannot thank Jay and his crew enough!! We needed an emergency septic pump and he came out the same day, despite having his entire day booked. It’s so nice to know that there are still companies out there that know the true definition of customer service. Not only did he come out immediately to clean the filter and remove the sludge, so we were able to use our toilets right away, but he came back a second time to empty and thoroughly clean the septic tank when his truck was done servicing others. Do NOT hesitate to hire them. Your tank will be the cleanest it’s ever been. Thanks so much, guys!!!

I can’t believe how rude this guy is.. We recently purchased a house and needed more information on the septic report since we are building a pool. After calling 20 times he finally answered and told me he would call me back the next day. I expressed the urgency since we are waiting on this information to move forward with the pool. He never called back, so I called multiple times, couldn’t leave a voicemail because his inbox was full and I texted him. I then gave his number to my pool company. When he called him and told him it was for our property he started yelling at him telling him he doesn’t care that we want to build a pool and to stop contacting him. We now have to hire a company to come out which will cost $225/hour because this guy doesn’t want to provide information about the inspection he did on our property. We are going to do further investigation on his inspection and feel as if he is shady. He will be reported to the city and possibly lose his inspection license... So stay clear of this guy!

I would like to only give half a star rating, if I could. I called Jay to come out and pump my septic twice in a two week period, charging me $400 and $350, and only pumped one tank. In addition, telling me I did NOT need to pump the first tank, when, in fact, it needed to be pumped. I called another service, A-American Septic Service, and they came out and pumped BOTH tanks for $300! I feel ripped off and taken advantage of by both father and son.
