Arizona Pool Fence

We had our pool fence installed Friday. They were great. Showed up on time, we're fast and efficient.
Fence looks amazing. Would highly recommend. Not to mention they were actually even a little cheaper then the other 2 quotes I got. Can't beat great price and great service.

I have to commend the management on addressing the issues with our mesh fence. It was installed by a nice gentlemen but did not do it correctly. He failed to put footers or sleeves in the ground to anchor the gate. Consequently, it blew over quite easily. I contacted Tim, who came out promptly and reviewed the work. The gentleman that did the original installation is no longer with the company. Eric came out and did a tremendous job anchoring the gate and it is fantastic. Sign of a good business when there is a hiccup and they take ownership for it and fix the problem. I would definitely recommend them.

I was looking for a quick estimate an iron pool fence. All I had to do was measure my space and send a photo. Arizona Pool Fence got back to me the same day with an excellent quote! Things have stalled a bit on my end, but the service I have received so far has been excellent!

I called these folks and they came out within a few days and gave me ideas for my problem, a process, and price with a completion date. They were not the cheapest, but then again I didn’t have some cat trying to upsell me on a fancy gate that I didn’t need and not to mention the experience was flawless and we’re very pleased.

The guys replaced the old busted wood slats in my old gate with a new (forgot the name of the material) slats. They also built a custom secondary gate to solve our pool code issue using the same slats as to what they replaced in the old gate. The solution, gate and hardware are solid and look really good. Even the color of the new gate is almost an exact match for the first primary gate. I wish that I could remember the name of the guy that did the measurements and later came back with an assistant for the install. Both guys knew their job, didn’t mess around and were very personable. Even the people in the office kept me updated with the install dates and processes.

Overall it was an awesome experience and a great group of folks. We’re going to probably do a pool fence shortly and these folks will for sure have our business.

Update: 4/24/2019.
I received a call from Anthony (installer) in advance when he was on his way here. He arrived, and was very professional and personable. Within a couple hours the work was done, and looked great. He walked me through steps on removing and putting back in the fence when needed as well as other aspects of the equipment and how to use it properly. Overall my experience was fantastic with AZ Pool Fence and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Update: 4/3/19
Rob showed up today right on time for our appointment. Right off the bat he was very professional, easy going and explained everything thoroughly and with detail. He took the time to explain and answer every question as well as provide me information in order to make a decision on what our family would like.

We are already booked up for 4/24 to have the work done, prices were very fair and overall very happy with my experience from my initial phone call to today's experience. I'll be updating again with some photos on 4/24 and once work is done. So far, excellent professionally and friendly experience all the way.

Talk about lack of customer service, AZ Pool Fence installed a 2 foot fence enclosing a small portion of our patio several years ago. We now would like to enclose the rest of our patio. They claim that they cannot obtain the product for several months. I have a manufacturer that will sell me what I need, but they are not willing to install.

We’re so glad we used this company for our pool fence. They were punctual, easy to schedule, and very knowledgeable. We shopped around and they had the best value and quality of product. We chose the 4 ft mesh fence in the sand color.

Great experience with Gina and the gang at AZ pool fence. They were extremely prompt and even bumped up our project due to an issue with our puppy. The installer was friendly and I would highly recommend. Thank you!

We have our first kid getting into everything. Having picked the pool net (not from toddler safety Systems) it's a horrible design and makes wanting to swim a hassle. After contacting 5 other companies to get a quote on a pool fence we went with the most professional company Toddler Safety Systems. I was assured I would be taken care of and Tim the owner answered all the questions I had. Liking that he was a retired Fire Fighter made it that much better. We are so happy with our fence and would recommend to friends. Even more Time goes beyond and come out to check on the work the day after. Don't find very many mom and pop companies any more that are Honest and trust worthy. Thanks for taking care of our needs and supplying a wonderful product that still makes our yard look like a fence is not taking over the view.

Had an estimate on a Thursday and had the fence installed the following Tuesday. Super quick and easy. Eric was great. Would recommend.

The company did a very nice job at our new residence and installed everything we described. The installer was friendly, but no detailed information was passed between the sales rep and the installer, so we had to explain what we needed twice, once to the consultant and again to the installer, taking about 20-40 minutes each time.

We would have given this company 5 stars, but there was something else that influenced our so-so review:

The owner, Gina, left an unprofessional voicemail for me (Google Voice transcription attached) to collect payment after a miscommunication in which my wife mistakenly thought the job was previously paid for as a gift from my father-in-law. The installer told Gina that my wife's daddy said he was going to pay for it, and Gina ACTUALLY used this phrase in her voicemail to me!! Even if Gina did not mean to be condescending, she should have known better than to repeat this verbage over the phone.

I immediately called my wife's father to have him pay for the job already finished as he previously agreed to do so, but this lack of professionalism was utterly shocking to me.

I have had the pleasure of working with Gina at Arizona Pool Fence. Our nonprofit, which is a QFCO, (tax credit qualified) helps kinship families (with financial needs) purchase a discounted pool fences so children will go to homes of grandmas, grandpas, aunt/uncles, and fictive kinship like teachers and friends of foster kids and not shelters and group homes.

After the pool is installed, we give a survey to each kinship family. AZ Pool fence, to date, has a received a perfect 5 star rating from every client. Communication is awesome with both families and our organization. AZ Pool Fence knows the rules to pass the state ( LSI ) Life Safety Inspection and helps families configure a safe 5 foot high pool that meets the strict requirements. Families can be assured that protocol is followed to save time and money.

I am so thrilled to be working with such a generous company who has value, safety AND quality as a priority. We love the quality of the cement footers (not all companies go above like this see photo) and high quality products such as reinforced metal poles. Our families are so happy with the service provided and we are thrilled to partner with AZ Pool Fence.

Talked to the owner and was told the fence installation would be up to city code. Agreed to pay the cost as I felt the work would be up to city code standards. When the city inspector came out to complete the inspection he pointed some items that were not properly completed and the inspection failed. I called the company back to complete the work they had originally agreed to do. They charged me an additional fee for having to come out a second time. I feel that they should understand city code before they tell their customers the work is up to code. It’s not my fault and I feel that I should not have to pay more for their mistake.This company needs to understand city code before they tell the consumer they perform work up to code standards. They were not understanding of the situation and pushed an additional fee to me. That’s unethical and bad business practice.

Provided a custom solution to a challenge that required a safe, secure removable barrier to our pool that protects our grandchildren when visiting and unobscured views of our beautiful pool other days.

We are in Mesa. We called, and Rob came out and gave us a detailed estimate, advising us on the whole project (old steel fence removal, cooldeck patching etc.). When install day came, the installer was on time, got the job done quickly, and the new black mesh fence is beautiful. The price is right too. We are very happy :-)

AZ Pool Fence provides a quality product, excellent service and installation. Rob, the estimator, Ernie the installer and Micaela in the office were all friendly, courteous, informative and timely with the install of our removable mesh pool fence. Rob listened to what we wanted and made recommendations and left us the quote. Ernie was a great installer. He arrived on time to the minute. I explained how I wanted the fence to run and I expressed concerns about where drips and wires ran underground in and around where the fence was to go and he made sure that that they were not disturbed. He explained how to take the fence down, how to adjust the gate etc. He was very detailed. He is just a really nice guy. Micaela called to remind me of the estimating appointment with Rob and scheduled the install in a very timely manner. Overall, Great company to work with. Thanks.

They knew what we needed to meet inspection standards for our newly built pool. We got a black mesh pool fence that looks better than expected. We contacted a few companies and private contractors but AZ Pool Fence have experienced staff who seem to go above and beyond with reasonable prices. We will definitely go with them again.

I was so pleased with AZ Pool Fence and our technician Patrick. He thought of all possible vantage points for the kids to get inside the pool. The fence was installed very well and Patrick was so pleasant to work with. He was very knowledgeable and professional. I would hands down recommend this company to anyone looking for a mesh pool fence to increase their child's safety around water.

We had about 60 feet of mesh fence installed, and we are thrilled with how it turned out. Our installer was Oscar, and he was great to work with. He was friendly, communicative about arrival time, and did high quality work. AZ Pool Fence's customer service is outstanding. We would certainly use this company again if the need ever arose.

We bought a pool net from them a year and a half ago after our dog slipped and fell in the pool. It's not the easiest thing to get on and off, but it works way better than a fence for our yard layout. And it gives me great peace of mind to know my dogs and my kids can safely play in the yard. It's sturdy. The guy laid on it after installation and he didn't even touch the water. We've had to call them twice for maintenance. Once, because some of the hooks rusted. They came out and replaced them with no issues and no more rusting. And just now they came back out because a critter chewed a hole in the net while we had it stored. They repaired the hole, and it's good as new. Would definitely recommend the net as an option for people who can't have a fenced pool, and would definitely recommend this company for their good product and customer service.

We had Arizona Pool Fence come and install our mesh fence around our hot tub and pool. The workers were fast, professional, and communicated each step. Hired Service's can be unreliable and dishonest these days, it was nice to work with a company that shows pride and responsibility In their work. I would definitely recommend- ask for Gina. She made the process so easy.

My 82 feet square mesh fence was installed by Patrick Hester. He is very detailed, professional and interactive from preparation/floor layout, drilling, footing, installation, etc. The fence looks great and exceeds my expectation. My wife was also very pleased with his excellent work. The materials (post, mesh, gate, etc.) provided by the company are sturdy and good looking after installation based on my observation. I definitely will recommend the company and Patrick to my friends and neighborhood. I will give the company and Patrick a 5 stars rating.

We LOVE our pool fence! Customer satisfaction is a top priority of this company and we could not appreciate them more! We are own a second home in the Chandler/Gilbert AZ area. I had AZ Pool install a removable/portable fence a year ago. I recently had the back yard redone and needed to relocate the fence. Rob the salesman was the original estimator and again on the second visit to estimate the relocation process. Both visits Rob was punctual and informative. On the second visit Patrick (installer) came out. This guy was fantastic. Thorough does not describe his work. Great customer service from the first call to the final install of my pool fence and self closing doors. The ladies in the office were so knowledable over the phone which is why I set up a quote. Rob came out and did an estimate and after install price was exactly as they said. The cleanup from the installer Ernie was above and beyond. What a great experience overall. Arizona Pool Fence just installed a fence around our new pool. The installer was very knowledgeable and walked us through every step of the way.

We purchased a house but since there was a tenant living in it, we were unable to install or even get a quote for a pool fence until after our move-in date. Arizona Pool Fence sent someone out to get a quote very quickly, and even though they warned us it could take a few weeks to get someone out to install the fence, they sent someone just a couple days later! Chad installed a great fence around our pool despite the odd shape and tough angles. The fence has been awesome so far and all at an affordable price.

We did have a little issue with passing our final inspection with Pinal County but I called Mckayla to find out what we could do and within 5 minutes I had a call from Oscar telling me he'd be back at 4:30 to fix my issue.....true to his word, my issue was resolved and I passed inspection the next day. I couldn't have asked for better customer service. I also received a call from Tim making sure the issue was being taken care of.

From the moment I called Arizona Pool Fence I’ve had nothing but a great experience! They came out and were patient with me while I ran through numerous scenarios of fence and net. Finally decided on a pool net and the price was unmatched. The net will last 10 years plus and we’ve already had it on for a winter and couldn’t be happier.

Today, I had trouble removing the net and Patrick came out to assist. Patrick was so helpful and stayed until I had the net removal/installation completely understood. I couldn’t ask for a better company to deal with. They stand by their customer service model. Thank you!!

They also have very fair pricing. I needed 3 different fence line quotes and the fence in brown. They did both without a problem. They do their job well and stand behind their work. Arizona Pool Fence is a top notch company. From their office staff to Rob (sales) and Oscar (Installer). I have used APF twice in the past 5 years for my initial pool fence and then again for the pool remodel. Their professionalism and attention to detail is a great contributor to having used their services on multiple occasions. When Oscar came out, he brought a creative design for the mesh fence with our newly installed travertine tile to make sure it was secure and easy to remove. While keeping my family safe, my wife and I rest easy at night knowing that we are protected!

We are so happy with our removable mesh pool fence. Oscar was polite and professional and listened to our concerns regarding the pool pipes in the surrounding areas. He drilled the holes perfectly and the fence is secure. It completes our yard and looks beautiful. Highly recommend!

Chad JR did a great job! He took the time to make sure he understood what we wanted and kept us up to date on every step of the process. We had a larger fence to install than most but he stayed over 12 hours until the job was done! He had a great attitude and still took the time afterwards to go over the details for maintaining and adjusting the fence as needed.

We just bought a house with a pool that had no type of barrier. I have a 2 year old who is still learning how to swim. I immediately started researching pool fences, nets, and covers and had 4 different companies come out to give me a quote. I left a message and Gina called me back that same day and was very helpful on the phone answering my questions. Tim (the owner of the company) called me 15 minutes before he arrived to let me know when he was coming (LOVE that when you are given windows of time). Once he arrived he was very knowledgeable on all things pool barrier related. He is a fire fighter and had some extra good information about pool safety with young kids. He had a ton of samples to show me and was very kind and friendly. I knew that Tim and Arizona Pool Guard was the company I felt the most comfortable to use once he left (remember- I had 4 different companies give me a quote). They were all roughly around the same price but Tim and his company outshone the rest. And because I am such an indecisive person, Tim happily came back for a second consultation and thanks to Gina thinking ahead we were able to tentatively schedule the installation 2 days later. The technician who came to install the fence was professional, friendly, and cleaned up after he left! The pool fence is BEAUTIFUL! :) I am VERY happy with our fence and will recommend Arizona Pool Guard to all my friends and family! THANK YOU!

At first this company was great and did everything as they said they would but then they left without properly latching the gate that goes too and from the pool and told me to do it myself and the only reason they came back to fix it was because I wouldn’t pay the remaining balance of the bill that was $300 off of the original quote to begin with. Now only 6 months later the gate has come unattached from our retaining wall and the gate does not function properly because of this. I have contacted the company several times and they have said they will come me to schedule (which they still haven’t done) and that they have to fit me into their existing schedule which is a month and a half out. I have 3 small children at risk because their fence will not function as it should and they couldn’t care less about it. I will not be recommending their services and know a handful of people who are in need of a pool fence.

AZ Pool Fence is amazing. They are friendly, knowledgeable, and they do great work. We needed a fence installed ASAP for an inspection. They were able to come out within a few days of me contacting them, and they did an incredible job. The fence looks great, and is extremely safe and secure.

So happy we went with Arizona Pool Fence! Tim came out and spent time with us discussing our options. Tim pointed out some safety concerns that none of the other quotes we had did. We had a climbing hazard that we didn’t even think about with fence placement. From the first call we were impressed with the lady that answered the phone with her knowledge about the different types of fencing we were interested in. We went with mesh, scheduling was great, the installer Chad was amazing and personable and left our back yard super clean. Overall, what a great experience, highly recommend Arizona Pool Fence. We have already referred two of our friends who are going with them too.

Our overall experience has been fantastic. Anthony is wonderful very personable and let me talk his ear off, also great at the job. He walked us through all the steps of removing if needed and how the fence functions. Will gladly recommend this company in the future to anyone. They really take safety as their number one priority.
On a side note Anthony kindly dug up my succulents as not to damage them so they could be moved, which is above and beyond in my opinion.

Chad was amazing with our pool fence. It turned out so great we even discussed a slightly different lay out that resulted in our yard being more open. Chad didn’t care about getting in and out he took his time to make sure it was done right and and showed us how to care and maintain our fence. I will suggest this company to everyone I know!

Business makes a bid and when we decided to go with them they up it twice to 137% of the original agreed upon amount, either they they don't know what they are doing and don't belong in this business or it's a way get more money from the customer, either way the 1 start rating is well deserved!

Update for the fabrication accusation:
The estimate was not roughly and I even gave the business longer linear footage on email than what they found, and an exact map of fence so they had all the details.
Original price was 6241, new 8500, so 8500 is 137% of 6241, notice that I didn't say you raised by I said 137% of original price, but I have to explain math to this business as well, Jeez

No call no show for an estimate

Shortly after writing this review they called and asked me to change the review because they did send someone out, that person claims they showed up and the home was vacant, the description given does seem accurate except for that the home was not vacant ..we had approx 8 contractors/workers doing various things around the property and I was on/around site and did not receive any calls that day from AZ pool fence, the notes claim my phone number did not work and they were unable to reach me, So I asked if they had my email on file and they do..this brings up the question of why did I not get an email about the missed appointment?

This is just my guess but I believe someone arrived on site and assumed it was still under construction and left, they probably were confused by the lack of a pool which their notes should have stated was the case because I needed a wrought iron fence to act as a dog run on the opposite side of the yard and once the pool was done I wanted that same style fence as an actual pool fence.

I did see someone with a blue polo leave my property, but I assumed it was someone dropping something off for the paint crew since they did not seem to be looking for anyone.

*Edited to add that this review was posted the next day and not 45 minutes later as stated in their reply, also if they would read what I wrote they would realize I believe that they showed and then left, the problem is that just called me a liar and continue to do so instead of simply apologizing for the mix up and asking to reschedule, if they had done that they could have avoided this entirely.

And for one last time you said you sold wrought iron fences ...that is what I want...lack of pool doesn't matter, you would have gotten a job for double the fencing and instead you blew it because you seem to have difficulty grasping what other purposes a wrought iron fence can serve. (Not to mention half of it would be for a pool after all)

Lastly people are more likely to leave negative reviews than positive that is life, it doesn't mean those negative reviews aren't truthful and my previous review was 5 stars...sorry this business can't take feedback and instead throws a tantrum.

Management was unprofessional. Although the installer was helpful and pleasant to work with, management did not own their mistake about agreeing to work that they could not do that ultimately lost them business and lost me time on getting a fence installed. I’d like to give them the benefit of the doubt that this was a one off scenario of poor customer service but then after telling me they would call to talk about the situation, they never did. Should have done my research ahead of time to know that there are better options out there that are more reliable and make customer service a priority.

After speaking with the gal who schedules appointments twice (because the company did not show for their scheduled appointment day), I decided to cancel them before they even came out because the scheduling lady was extremely short and rude! Kindness and customer service goes a long way. I will be taking my business for two properties in need of a pool fence, elsewhere.

I have had my fence up for about 7-8 months now and am loving it. They worked with me for a slightly complicated design instead of going the simple route and were able to make it remain functional and still look great. During install, two spots were damaged in my irrigation system, but they were quick to remedy that as soon as I brought it to their attention. I have had to take parts of the fence down and put it back up for multiple different projects, and every time has been a breeze. This is a very strong and versatile fence and I am very glad I went with these guys to put it in. This is one of the few things that my toddler has given up trying to get through as he has never made any headway getting through, nor will he until well after he is old enough to not need it anymore.

I cannot express how truly wonderful this company is. I contacted multiple pool fence companies through their website and AZ Pool Fence responded right away, gave me a very accurate qoute over the phone and even accommodated one day installation only 3 days after I initially contacted them for a qoute! Everyone was incredibly kind and professional and I couldn't be happier with the product!! I am SO grateful !! I highly reccomend this company!

Im sorry one of your employees had a terrible accident but that doesnt excuse your behavior or terrible attitude on the phone. Telling your customers theyre wrong PERFECTLY sums up this company. We got a pool fence the next day with APoolFence. They showed up early and got the work done in 2 hours. This is not a BOGGUSS (misspelled) review. Learn to take the criticism and make the appropriate changes.
The only interaction I have had with this company is talking with Gina on the phone. I decided to go with a different company after talking to Gina a second time. After I asked what day she thought they could come out, she rescheduled my appointment to 2 weeks after the original date. Then she told me I had to have faith in them and be patient and someone would be out. She also told me that she was the owner and that she had a bunch of employees quit and that its been really busy there. Maybe that's not the best information to give to prospective clients, it just shows that I should not have faith in you and what happens if everyone quits the day before you're scheduled to come out to my home, or have confidence in your employees to do the best possible job. Gina also is rude and has a bad bedside manner. Go with a different company! 0/5 stars!

Excellent service and work. Competitive in price. Installed very quickly, professional, and timely. Installer was thorough in explaining take down, storage, and warranty coverage. Cleaned up after install and left documentation for spare parts and extra caps. Highly recommended.

Was very happy with this company. I was unsure of what configuration i wanted for our fence and they worked with me to come up with a couple of different options and price them out during my initial estimate appointment. They were friendly, quick, and very competitive price-wise!

I was happy with intial visit and how well the house part of the door safety went, but when it came time for outside gates to be completed, I received the run-around, no calls back except one in which I was told not til August. This is completely frustrating with the owners out of town but coming back soon every time. I would have had it done the same day as the house but they are too busy.

Did a great job bringing all doors up to code for new pool city inspection. Representative (wish I remembered his name) that came for the job was very knowledgeable and did high quality work.

Ok. So I had only about 12 feet of this fence installed about 2 and a half years ago. The recent July through September monsoon winds tested the fence and messed up my gate. I called Gina and they were extremely prompt to get my door adjusted. I have a 5 year old and a 18 month old little girl that likes to explore. I would be loosing sleep if this fence was not in place. Great bang for our buck!!

Whole process was smooth from the estimator coming out and discussing options to the installer coming out and putting it in (in like three hours) and everything turned out amazing great company great people to work with good quality materials and a great product.

I emailed trying to get information on if they could fix two of my pool gate latches. I sent pictures, and asked for clarification on the pricing they gave me, but what they replied with didn't make sense. Not worth the time to try to figure it out.
