I had a rear bumper powder coated for my Jeep and they did an amazing job, the finish is perfect. They even went the extra step to package it up when it was done so it didn’t get damaged on the ride home. If you want it done right these are the guys to go with.

I dropped my items off on February 23rd & was told my items would b done in 1-4 weeks , I was quoted $1,310 for all my items , my items been in the shop like I mentioned since 02-23-23 & I called yesterday to see when will my items b done & I was told that my items are worst then they expected & my quote went up $900 & once again my items have been sitting here @ the shop 3 weeks & no one looked & my items , this is very unprofessional & I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone , picked my items up on 03-08-23 ( today ) & they are already wit another shop & will b done in 7 business days & for cheaper than their original quote , this place is the worst , don’t deal with RICH , he’s on his high horse & very disrespectful & talks to people very disrespectful, my original quote came from the owner GREG & once the prices changed he’s nowhere to b found , b careful dealing wit this place , sincerely a frustrated customer,
PS: my car is being displayed @ a car show @ the end of October & they knew that , now my car is 3 weeks behind because of their unprofessional ways , this is a very bad situation!!!!!!!!!!

Rich over at affordable powder coating is the furthest thing from professional. Mistake after mistake was made on my car parts (also destroyed my valve cover) took it upon myself to order a new one being it’s a hard part to come by and Rich told me the shop would be covering the price and that didn’t happen. None of my parts matched. It’s obvious communication is a huge weakness with this business. I had more patience than anyone should have to by letting them try and fix their mistakes and every time something else would happen. Rich refused to talk to me through this whole process. Ignoring my calls and texts. Keeping me in the dark with my own property. Cut my losses and pulled my parts before everything else gets ruined. I am from out of state and for anyone that puts trust in a shop based off of the content posted on their website DONT! They do not take pride in their work and will release parts back to you with poor workmanship stamped all over it. By far the WORST experience with customer service I have ever had. If you are someone in the process of a high quality build and you want your parts done correctly please do your research and shopping around because I couldn’t have made a worst decision by trusting Rich and his guys with my parts.

I just wanna say that these guys are honest. I called for a quote, but didn't leave any personal info. I went in a week later to drop off my headers, but they never told me how much it was going to be (so they could have then charged me whatever they wanted).

I picked these up 4 days later (quick turnaround) and they charged me a dollar less than I was quoted on the phone. They really do strive to give you the lowest prices! And the work is awesome, my mechanic shop thought it was a great job!

great customer service! fair price. my ceramic coated headers work and look good. myself and affordable powder coating agreed upon a price initially. pleased I knew exactly what I was paying when job completed. also pleased with the phone call and message letting me know of job completion and ready for pick up. first time customer. would go to their business again. thanks again...Frank

This place does fantastic work. They have a great record in the valley. The turn around time is good. They always help me with my projects. They have super color choices and the prices are great. It's easy to find but I recommend maps for direction. It's a treat doing business with them.

Had a motorcycle frame and other parts powder coated. The guy was friendly and knowledgeable, and had a casual style that was a little unusual. However, they did a fantastic job with my parts and the price was reasonable. $350+ for the frame, triple tree top and bottom, braces, engine mounts, and kickstand. The shop is in a funky part of town, but is worth the drive.

Everything went smoothly and it ended up costing a little less than the original estimate! When does that ever happen? My frame looks amazing. Originally wanted flat black, but they made some suggestions that I went with and the bike looks amazing.

I took my sons bike frame and parts to these guys to have it painted for his birthday, they told me it would be about a week or so, Greg called and let me know it was done about a week and a half later and it looked amazing. It was like a new bike.. For the job these guys do totally worth waiting a little time. I will definitely be using them again.

This place was a joke. Way over priced for the work I requested. Out of 5 different companies I sought for business they were 200 dollars over priced. Don't trust the name, because they are definitely not affordable. Also the the powder coater wanted to upcharge me for ordering the powder stating that it was a business. None of the other powder Coating companies assessed an upcharge for the powder, so I told him no thank you. Grabbed my piece and left.

I was told it would take 4 weeks, it took 8! I was told it would be $275 it was $430! And there was powder build up around the lu stud holes smh. Totally Mislead me and I feel I was ripped off! I was without wheels for 2/12 months of the year smh. Dent wizard would have done the Same Week! Will only go to dent wizard from now on.

I recently purchased a couple of new alloy wheels for my HD Trike conversion but they needed a personal touch. The other powder coating companies said they wouldn't do wheels. I spoke with Greg, the owner, and Rich and they readily accepted this job. These wheels were done perfect, exactly the way I wanted them, in little more than a week. Also, at a fair price below their estimate on the phone. It doesn't get any better than that. They are guaranteed my future business.

I had Affordable do a set of wheels for my 66 F-250. The wheels were pretty rough after 47 years. I had a specific color I was after to match the body and the staff worked with me for quite a while to find the closest thing we could. In the end it was going to require a clear coat to get the right sheen and they added that in with no extra charge. I waited a bit longer than expected but the wheels came out amazing. I almost hated to cover them up with rubber! In fact, I went to pick them up and when I got there I learned they had not passed quality control. It was worth the extra wait and extra trip to pick them up later that day. The price was very reasonable and the product was top notch. I would highly recommend APC to my friends.

What a Goat Rope Greg Macmillan and his staff know ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about there trade or being in the coating business. The same parts coated with same color at Arizona Powder Coat on East Washington (1-week prior) $21.30 Affordable Powder Coats price $45.00 My parts had incomplete surfaces coated and had to be redone. After pickup and unwrapping at My shop it was noticed that Greg's Goons caked up the powder like frosting on a cup cake and ALL Definition was lost on the part. He's not in tune with his customers nor does he care. He and his staff seek a customer base that knows nothing about the industry and prefers the Shell Game when being confronted about the company's pricing or protocol with a customer. I tried to speak with him numerous times on the last 3 attempts when rectifying my problem and found he could actually care less! How did I find this ship wreck? A referral from one of my vendors who is related to them. Me being in the far west valley figured I would give them a shot and save 10-miles on the drive using someone closer, it was the First and Last Time. No pricing up front, Lack of involvement or concern at any given time or at pickup. The word AFFORDABLE in Greg's case means Absolutely Nothing and is just a hook for his victims. Moral of this story.... Find a 14-year old boy in your neighborhood with an oven, I'm Sure You'll Get Better Results and Go ANYWHERE, but here!

Never again took my sons scooter parts here paid $80 more than quoted and the green looks blotchy like a rattle can couldn't really complain since it was a week late getting back and was needed for an action sports camp within a few days of return..

Not that happy with the work that was done, the take your money before you get to see your parts. Now I know why. Also said to week and it took a month and my friends birthday is Saturday so I was stuck with what I got :(

My friend referred me to Greg, I needed an old EARLY 1900 wood burning stove sandblasted. First question out of the office persons mouth was are all parts metal. I answered her to assure her that what was being delivered was 100% steel. Price was discussed and they are affordable in my opinion.

Not a good place to take your stuff unless you want to OVER PAY for a lousy job. I had to take my stuff back to get touched up and it took them weeks. Will never go there again. And yes they always lie about the price at first then bump it up. The opposite of affordable powder coating is this place!

Affordable = Questionable.

I used this company to powdercoat a car chassis after I was recommended to them from a friend. Make sure you get a quote before the work is done, their pricing is everywhere. The quality of work is good, but after all, if you have the right equipment, any monkey can powdercoat.

well i miust say, i have heard bad things about pricing issues, and delivery times. I was apprehensive about using them, but i must say they quoted me a worst case, best case pirce scenario, abd time frame, and Greg finished it on time and the price was much close to the best case than the worst case. I am very pleased. Thanks Greg!

These guys have coated several parts for my race car as well as several parts for my customers vehicles, neither I or any of my customers have ever been disappointed with their work. There are a couple other places that are cheaper but you get what you pay for.

I have used affordable powder coating for 5+ years. I use them on a daily basis. This is one of the best powder coating places in the valley. I always recommend them to any one that needs to get something powder coated exhaust coated and now gun coatings. A+ in my book

I have used Affordable Powder Coat a few times and would highly recommend them to anyone needing a powder coat service.. I have used them for various projects such as Duara-Coat for firearms, Ceramic exhaust coatings for my sand car, and their wicked chameleon color for my sand car frame.. Turn around time was normal in the valley, and price was comparable or below other shops.. I will use them again..!

very unprofessional had price quote on the phone when we took the parts in they raised the price 210% over quote stated the part would be done in 7 days they were not done also could not find the parts then stated the 7 days were working days this gave them 2 extra days this place is the biggest joke around !!!! if you like to make of phone calls be put hold for long long time and vastly over pay this is your place
