It says a lot about a company when they follow through with everything they said they would do. It might seem like a givin but working with so many builders over the years you learn its not. Prior to proceeding with the remodeling of my kitchen, I did my due diligence in researching companies. I landed on Matador and couldn't be more pleased with my decision.

Ruben, the Owner, is impressively responsive to calls and texts, despite how busy he is. I had many questions throughout the process and he always made time to speak with me and answer my questions thoroughly. Ruben is also an honest guy you can actually trust (a rare find in this industry) and it was the most important quality in my search. Furthermore, he is an expert in his trade with the knowledge and skills needed to perform high quality work.

A majority of the remodel was performed by one of his employees named Jesus. I can't say enough good things about him - kind, trustworthy, hardworking, quality craftsmanship, and he even took a minute or two to impart some knowledge on me so I could perform future house projects.

If you're looking for a responsive, trustworthy, and proficient contractor that you can count for timely, quality work, look no further!

Oron does good work and will take care of you after job is done. He build a garage add on a year ago and I am happy with the results.

You cannot find a better company anywhere. They are excellent at all of the work they do. They care about their work and customer. They are excellent communicators. They do not mind answering questions. They always carry through. The subs they use are just as concerned about the quality of work they do. JM Contracting was recommended to us by a friend as detailed, trustworthy and honest. Josh and his team were great. The tile work is beautiful. They had great suggestions to help with cost. In comparison JM has saved us $10k at least. We have a superb new bathroom and kitchen in our Phoenix home. The renovation was completed with the utmost professionalism, minimal dirt and disturbance to the rest of the house. They were a pleasure to work with and I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending this business to anyone wanting a trouble-free quality renovation.

Had them build a simple pergola in the back yard. They did awesome! Took about 3 days to complete including paint

We got a qoute for our project November 2021. It took months to get through permits, etc through the city. I realize this is not their fault. It turned out to be almost over $20k over their quote!! For a rooftop patio!! A roof top patio that we were told would take about 6 weeks to complete. Obviously it took way longer....We are now in January of 2023!! We had so many hold ups. Lumber prices went up, we had 3 different electricians out here, so many things came up over and over again. People in and out of our yard for months. My office is in my backyard and I couldn't work from there for months. I understand projects can cause issues but this was way over the top. We asked for deadlines and they were all missed over and over again. We had cracks, leaking, and then our travertine was flooded. They said it was a home owner issue, but my husband took work off that day and took pictures of everything.Turns out someone didn't cap a pipe from months ago and caused a leak in our yard that's been going on for months. We paid for that for months. We weren't given a disount for ANYTHING! I was so unhappy with how everything was handled. We waited days and weeks for issues to get fixed and no apologies. We paid throughout the process and when we owed our last payment, we were contacted to get it resolved immediately. We have several other projects that we want to do for our house but will never do this again with this company. If you make a mistake or over promise...make up for it. You FAILED!
