Very welcoming, flexible to your schedule. This granite topped off my open kitchen remodel.

We selected Desert Custom Flooring after speaking with the owner Alex Suarez who came highly recommended to us by two of our sons.

Alex arrived on time to meet us, and within 24 hours we had a quote that fit within our budget to demo our old finished and textured concrete floor, prep floors for new tile and baseboards and install a new backsplash in our kitchen.

Demo guys showed up on time and finished within 2 days.

Unfortunately, when Alex's team opened the tile at our house to begin installation, it was discovered that the tile (all of it) was defective. There was a lot of back and forth and wasting of time for Alex's team as well as my husband and I. We eventually cancelled the order from Floor and Decor and went with a company called MSI recommended by Alex. ****the defective tile was in no way Alex's fault or responsibility****

Once we were back on track, the entire process was easy and quick. Tile was all laid and grouted within 2 days, and new baseboards were installed in about 5 hours. My house looks beautiful, thank you Alex and team.

After getting the backsplash done, i realized my kitchen cabinets desperately need to be refinished :):) Next job.....

This was a terrible experience. I had a project with them for 6 months that was very simple. They lied for months and never once called or emailed to provide a progress report for months!. Not sure how they’re in business. Run

I found FHR online and emailed them for a quote. Within one hour I got a respond and had an estimator (Jeremy) at my house in the next day.
My project (tile, some roof work and a patio) was done in a timely manner and the cost was 20%-25% cheaper than any other contractor ive dealt with.
Crew was respectful and owner was always around and available.

We are so pleased with the end result! Even better - Ray and Tatum were fantastic to work with along the way! My husband and I wanted custom trellises for our backyard to add dimension and depth. They not only understood our vision, but made recommendations to bring it to the next level in the most cost effective way. They were able to complete our project well within the timeframe they quoted and seamlessly. We’ve worked with a few contractors before. This was by far our best experience. Highly recommend!

Great quality work, they gave me a timeframe and finish way before schedule. I definitely like that and compare to other people houses I can notice the difference. Definitely will call them for all my house related needs.

I would give 0 if I could. I sincerely wish that we had the positive experiences that other reviewers seem to have had... it is hard to believe they dealt with the same company. I would not recommend Atelier 507 to anyone, for any reason. I am writing this review because I've noticed an increase in Atelier507's advertising, and I think anyone considering this business should be aware of my family's experience.

We signed a six-figure contract with Bobby in December of 2020 for our home remodel. We ultimately paid that entire contract amount, plus about 60% more.

To this day, the work is not complete. Bobby abandoned the project before we were able to pass the City of Phoenix's inspection process. So, we have not been able to close out the permits with the City of Phoenix.

We were initially told that our home would be finished in March of 2021. It still isn't, 18 months latter. Bobby did find another company to complete the work when we informed him of our intent to file a complaint with ROC after he abandoned the project, so I am hopeful that we will be finished with this chapter in our lives soon. It has caused a lot of stress for our family.

The work that was completed required (and still requires) significant repair and touch up work. The work was rushed and not carefully completed. It seemed that Bobby wanted to complete the job as quickly and inexpensively (for him) as possible.

Some examples: The grout and drywall in and around our primary bath shower is severely cracking. The shower tiles themselves have begun to crack. The drywall around the title is cracking. The shluter around the shower niche is sharp and sticks out from the wall. Our child's bathroom tile has similar issues. The shluter around her tub is sharp and sticks out to the point that she recently cut herself while getting into the shower.

He purchased (basic, undoubtedly inexpensive, white) paint for the interior of the home without consulting us about paint color. We were told that was the color our walls would be painted, because the paint had already been purchased. The paint was thinly and sloppily applied.

The kitchen layout was not well planned. We are unable to open one of our refrigerator doors. We purchased our appliances prior to the remodel; still the kitchen design was not compatible with what we'd purchased. The kitchen backsplash was installed quickly and carelessly: the grout is cracking, and the square tiles are noticeably off center above the stove. The under cabinet lighting was screwed into our cabinets so that the sharp end of the screws were poking through the bottom of the cabinets.

Our plans included a pantry/mudroom, which had to be scrapped due to poor planning.

When we finally had no choice but to move in to our home in October 2021 (despite the fact that it was unfinished), we spent my. first few days there cleaning urine, grime, and pubic hair off of our new toilets. We still find cigarette butts in our yard. A custom-built entertainment center was damaged. A box full of our clothing was used as a trashcan (and cigarette receptacle). There is paint splattered on our flagstone patio and pool deck. Our kitchen cabinets were full of trash. The crew left behind their garbage and extra supplies for us to clean up.

We have paid Bobby every cent we owed. And when we were asked to make progress payments early to accommodate Bobby's vacations, we did. Still, when we expressed concerns, we were reminded of the fact that Bobby was trying to run a business, that it wasn't worth it to him to have anyone come to our home to address issues, and that there was a million dollar project that was Bobby's priority. At the beginning, Bobby was professional and accommodating... that did not last.

I hesitated to post a review prior to our home passing a City inspection because I just want the project finished so that our family can move on. It's been a year since we moved into a construction zone, and this process has been a nightmare. I hope that sharing our experience helps others to make an informed choice.

Elan managed a kitchen, bathroom, and staircase job for us. All jobs were completed on time and very nicely done. Excellent communication, respectful team of workers, and consistent follow-up. Would recommend to anyone in need of a contractor!

I was so relieved to find out about Johan when I needed major fixing of my flooring (other company told me I was on my own when it turned out that concrete in my condo was not level to what they wanted for laying new flooring). Johan had previously done repair work of my mother’s flooring in her home as well, and we cannot say enough about how valuable he was to us! He does impeccably high quality work, is so nice to work with, is honest and ethical with his advice, and is so reasonable and fair with the cost! He was also very accommodating, and willing to come out to do the work on such short notice. So grateful for Johan and his company!
