We were referred to Hub Plumbing by our building’s Super to fix a tub drain blockage. This turned into an extensive repair that required the shower wall demoed. Hub Plumbing (Jason and Rich) did an excellent job diagnosing and installing new pipes, drain and other necessary parts to remedy this problem. Due to the fact that we were impressed with Jason’s plumbing skill and knowledge we engaged Hub Plumbing to replace our bathroom toilet, vanity and repair our kitchen drain leak.

Based upon my personal experience, I would highly recommend Hub Plumbing for all your plumbing needs.

Truly THANKFUL for the wonderful service I recieved. 24 hour service is a plus. I called yesterday around 8 and was told I had a 4hr window. Yet a tech arrive within 2hrs. He assessed the situation, gave me an estimate and set up an appointment for me today with a specialist. The tech who arrived (Sean 2614) was very friendly and informative. He walked me through the entire process and triple checked his work. GREAT SERVICE, FRIENDLY, and PROFESSIONAL WORKERS!

BL held the position of technician. He arrived on time, dressed professionally, was courteous, and was intent on ensuring he understood our problem and repaired it in the quickest, least expensive way possible. He kept us apprised of everything he observed along the course and recommended the most effective cure. After assessing the likely source of the water backup, he suggested that it would be in the best interest to start with a scope to identify if the issue was a blockage or something else. The scope is significantly less expensive than a cable. In addition, he stated that he clears the majority of blockages with the camera, avoiding him from charging more for a Rooter cable. In addition, he warned that if the camera locates the obstruction but is unable to clear it, he will not charge for the camera effort and will only charge for the cable work.

Gave quick, high-quality service. They spent time comparing the snake auger approach with the hydro jet device they were employing. After 15 minutes, the drain was rectified. really affordable as well.

Called 30+ plumbers in New York City for application for new water meter permit. Nobody wanted to help. Spoke with Joey from Harris Plumbing and within 2 weeks I got my water meter permit and everything was installed and application filed. They are the best in the business and Murshell is a wonderful person to work with. I highly highly recommend this company. They will NOT disappoint you.

I was assisted by Chris on a whim tonight. As late as it was (7:00 PM) Chris did not hesitate to greet me with a smile and get to work on his analysis of the issue.This was my first time dealing with a plumber and I was nervous at first. After working with Chris I was absolutely appaled at the professionalism displayed but the depth of knowledge and passion he has for his career. Not only was he able to unclog my toilet but he taught me so much about the pipes and how it all operates so I could be educated myself for what to look iut for incase anything happens againI'll definitely be using this company for further plumbing issues. Don't Even Bother with an Afternoon Appointment, Not Loyal to Old Customers
I have been a customer of Fred Smith Plumbing & Heating for many years. Unfortunately the business has not grown in a healthy manner. I just spent two days waiting for a plumber that has not yet arrived. I had made the appointment a week in advance.. When I called to question where the plumber was the first time, the person I spoke to was very derisive, implying that it was my fault for having made the appointment in the afternoon in the first place. He indicated that that was a sure sign that they would never show up. I had heard that they occasionally pick a customer to slam or ignore and make fun of. He seemed to want to bait me so that I would cancel. I should have followed my instincts and called another plumber right then, but I thought since I was a long-term customer they would come. When they called to cancel for that day and said they would come the next day I asked if they could guarantee it would be first thing in the morning. They said no, they would not guarantee anything. I should have realized then they really were never going to come.. I waited all day the next day, too. Several times, I was given false hope that there would be a plumber coming soon. I actually, at one point, begged! Late the second afternoon, they called to say that they still would not make it. I told them that they had had enough fun, and said goodbye. Loyalty only goes so far. After I told them I would never be calling again, they called and, for the first time since I had made the original appointment over a week earlier, offered me an actual time slot - for the next morning - a major religious holiday - so they knew they would not be busy. That's how they treat their old customers. At their own convenience, not the customers' -how rude can you be?
PS, the next plumber I hired came exactly on time and with no drama or nastiness.
