John’s plumbing was very responsive—they were able to send out a technician the same day, which I greatly appreciated. Victor, the tech who came out to our house was knowledgeable and professional and charged us a fair price for the work performed.

I had a 35 foot clay sewer line under my house, and another 35 foot clay pipe from sidewalk to city main, all becoming clogged with tree roots. I also had a leaking gas line.

My reason for hiring GR is:

1. Gonzalo and assistant came the same day I called to give an estimate.
2. His estimate and proposals made sense and were given same day.
3. They have good quality equipment.
4. Communication was easy, when I texted questions, he promptly responded.
5. They have a good crew. The first day 3 different crews worked on site; Jackhammer, gas line,
and digging; they are very efficient.
6. When they started working Gonzalo found a partial clay pipe under the concrete slab which
wasn’t on the original estimate. We were able to negotiate a fair deal which I was happy with.
7. David was on site to oversee the construction the entire time.
8. Gonzalo has good business management skills, the job was completed in a timely manner.

I totally concur with the other reviews for L.A. Drain Inspections and Repairs. We had a bad plumbing emergency - kitchen sink that wouldn't drain and kept overflowing whenever upstairs neighbors sharing the same waste line ran water into their sink - and Alex came out on New Years Day (!) and fixed this baffling problem in extremely professional fashion. And he charged less than half of what I was expecting. Highest recommendation.

We have Japanese restaurants and tried Mr. Speedy 2 times. The 1st job was to replace a elbow pipe. It cost us about $250. (3rd party opinion said, it should be less than $50) The 2nd job was to unclog the toilet and sink which cased by shut-off switch. Just turn the switch. It cost us $350. (3rd party opinion said, it should be less than $50) Requested for receipts but no response.

My juice cafe had a backed up toilet. Dave handled the job extremely well. He was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Every step of the way he explained what he was doing and why. Using a camera, he was eventually able to find an old rag that was the source of the problem. He extracted the rag and solved the problem. Their prices are very reasonable and their quality is excellent. A1 equips their technicians with the right tools to efficiently and effectively accomplish their work. Every business or home needs a plumber like Dave and A1.

Called Victor for an estimate to have my sewer lateral replaced. He showed up the same day with his camera to inspect the line and give an estimate. The work was done in 3 quick days. He and his crew were polite and hard working. At the end of each work day, the job site was left clean and orderly. I highly recommend Victor for any plumbing needs. He's the best!
