We had an outside pipe, possibly on the verge of a full blown burst, but Jason came by today, and found the problem, before it turned into a plumbing disaster! He was prompt, honest, and professional! In less than an hour, he took care of our plumbing problem, and we can’t thank him enough. Put in the call for shower not shutting off on a Friday at 7:00, and Travis was here by 7:30, made the repair and was gone by 8. As always, great service!

We had a bad water leak and placed a service call this morning. Roger Armstrong from Ben Franklin Plumbing responded and he was terrific! He helped with a number of issues, some of which were challenging because our home is almost 40 years old. He worked hard all day addressing our plumbing issues and did an excellent job! Most importantly, he’s a great guy who truly cares about his customers. I highly recommend Roger and Ben Franklin For any of your plumbing needs.

Been working from home so I sometimes will not enter my garage on a daily basis. Well Thursday, July 8, I went into my garage to grab a tool. Saw water on the garage floor. I realized the outlet pipe at the top of the gas hot water heater was leaking. I could not stop it so I turned off the water. The first two plumbers I called were unavailable. So I called American Discount Plumbing based on its high rating and positive reviews.

I spoke to Paul who came out that afternoon even though he was on another job. After reviewing the situation, Paul presented me some options. Given the age of the water heater (at least 5-years old), I decided to replace it. Paul offered me a fair deal including the 40-gallon water heater, and installation labor.

Paul returned Friday morning with the water heater during the time window he had indicated. After a couple of hours in sweltering heat, Paul had the gas hot water heater installed, and running. I am very pleased with Paul's responsiveness, timelines, and professional demeanor. And I got a good, fair deal. I highly recommend American Discount Plumbing.

We called Antonio out to inspect the pipes of an old house before we purchased it. We needed to know what the pipes were made of. The report he gave us said “probably ABS”. We were concerned with this report because we cannot put our money into “probably”. He said he was sure it was ABS but refused to put it in writing. We worked with him to come out again, this time my husband was watching him work. He said he was feeding the camera under the house and my husband pointed out that his camera was clearly going in the opposite direction of house. My husband is not a plumber but he had to explain to Antonio how the direction of the pipes worked. Turns out the pipes were NOT made of ABS and lied to us about going under the house in the first place. Then when we asked him to check out the pipes from inside the house he refused saying “his camera was not good enough”. I would highly recommend not hiring him!

Our tankless water heater stopped working and we called Donnie on the recommendation of several friends he’s helped. Unfortunately the heater was irretrievably busted, but Donnie was back the next day to install a new one and fix the underlying issues that wrecked the original. It was an issue with how the builders installed it (too late to take it up with them now), but Donnie scoped out neighbors’ homes as he drove by and noticed that many were similarly
Installed improperly and recommended I perhaps post about it in a neighborhood Facebook group or on NextDoor. Pridemark will even be in touch when it’s time for annual maintenance, which I appreciate!
