Water heater leak started meaning we had days before it quit completely and are going out of town in a week. Decided to get quote from here bc of high star google rating and being family owned and within minutes had a real person reach out (Tammy and Micheal)! I was so happy to not be placed through an automated gauntlet of harassment. We knew what we wanted and that it had to be soon. Pricing was simple and they offer military discounts, comes with a warranty, and financing was offered without upselling pressure or needing knowledge of this kind of appliance. Work was scheduled within 12 hours! Good communication for techs arrival with the ability to be flexible when I needed extra time before the appointment. Garrett, the tech, was on time, friendly, knowledgeable and treated us like friends! The job was done quickly and correctly. All our questions were answered and we didn't have to clean up after him. Garrett is who I would choose for any future plumbing issue we ever have! Less than 10 minutes after the job, Tammy reached back out to make sure we were satisfied and email confirmations of everything. I can't think of a way this potentially stressful process could have gone better or we could have developed confidence in a company faster than we did here. Ohio Water Heaters were excellent to work with when my 2-year-old water heater suddenly stopped working. (The heater was purchased/installed by another company who is no longer in service.) From the moment I first contacted them, their team was professional, empathetic, and prompt. Despite some unexpected challenges, they took care of everything as quickly as possible and worked diligently to get the heater back up and running. Our old water heater (20+ years) started leaking very slightly last week. I contacted Mike on Aug 28. I was debating between getting a replacement from one of the hardware stores and possibly doing the work myself. After talking to Mike I decided to go with Ohio Water Heaters. They provide the professional series heaters. Mike scheduled my install for Monday morning. Billy arrived promptly at 8:30 and was out by 10:30. He was very professional and friendly! Old heater removed and taken with him. Very clean installation. Very pleased, and will definitely use Ohio Water Heaters in the future.

Our aged water heater has been limping along for some time now and would require a $400 fix, so when it gave up the ghost I called Mike (and scheduling) in late morning. They had someone out to replace it within a few hours! By dinner time we had hot water again. Our installer Garrett was friendly, knowledgeable and fast. This guy, Mike Matheny from Ohio Water Heaters is absolutely fantastic. It was already a dark and cold Boxing Day evening when I called him. He could not send anyone or wasn’t certain he could even the next day. So he patiently and meticulously walked me through my problem, asking for pictures as we went along. Four pictures and half hour later he told me what and where the two faults were and he stayed with me while I corrected them. My furnace is now blasting heat, and water heater flowing hot water. God bless this Santa!

My wife and I had a new home that required a well. The company that drilled the well told us that they do not make the connection to the home and that it was the responsibility of home center to make the connection, but the home center stated that it was not their responsibility. Since we could not move into the house until a final inspection was completed, and that could not be completed until the water was completely hooked up, I called Ohio Water Heaters. I spoke the Mike on a Wednesday afternoon and he had someone there the next morning to take care of the issue. I highly recommend Ohio Water heaters.

Tankless water heater was misbehaving since Christmas Day deep freeze which also burst a couple of pipes; pilot would not stay lit. Pipe issue addressed respectably, and perseverance with the water heater finally has it working again, though it took a while to get parts in. OWH is a tad on the pricey side, but you get your money's worth. Their work is professional and high-quality. Our service tech was a great guy named Chris. Any issues with tankless water heaters, OWH are def the go-to people IMO.

I was calling around looking for plumbers to fix the leak in my laundry room. I called this company and they were so nice and informative. They did not have to take the time to give me the information that they did and I just really appreciated it.

Our water heater tank gave out so we contacted them asking when the soonest they could come in was. They completely replaced it within 20 hours of it breaking! That’s amazing service. He even explained how our old water heater was not only not up to code, but surprisingly lasted as long as it did!

Called in about the pilot light going out on my new home's water heater and Mike was incredibly helpful. He very patiently walked me (the least handy person alive) through how to re-light it on my own and gave me super helpful advice to prevent the same issue from happening again. I had a 14 year old tankless water heater that needed replaced. I had gotten quotes from several other companies before contacting Ohio Water Heaters. Mike was able to quote me over the phone and was significantly cheaper than the others. Not only was the quote fast and painless, but he was able to get me on the schedule for the next morning which was great because my unit had started leaking quite a bit of water. The workers showed up promptly on time and were extremely courteous and professional. Chris was very thorough with the install, explained everything he did and even showed me the basic maintenance for it. I am very happy overall with the job and the price! Definitely would recommend!

Initially came out to fix a small gas leak with a fitting going to the tankless water heater. They noted while here that the drain pipe had not been properly run, so they came back to fix that issue as well. They noticed a leak in an overhead PCV pipe and they fixed that too. No Charge for these two visits. They took responsibility for the work that had not been done properly and remedied the situation promptly. The owner and the techs who came to the house were very friendly, courteous, and responsive. Would hire them again.

I had no idea what the problem was when I called for my husband who was trying to follow a YouTube video. When I got to speak to the representative for this company he told me what the cost would be for him to come look at it. And then he did something that shocked me. He started asking questions and walked my husband through the steps to light the pilot. I have never had such an experience in my life. He kept asking questions until he got to the bottom of what was going on and my husband understood what he was doing. He made it easy to understand and follow for someone who does not work in this field. If I ever have to have a replacement or something that needs hands on I know who I’m calling because I’ve never felt more reassurance in a single phone call than this man gave me and my husband. 10/10 would recommend to family and friends and complete strangers. This was one of the best experiences in a long time. Two months ago they helped me troubleshoot my tankless water heater over the phone. They came out yesterday with the owner and a tech to determine the water heater was in perfect working order and helped find a plumbing issue from a remodel they did not cause. After their guidance and talking to my contractor we isolated the problem and corrected it very easily. They were quick, polite, good at explaining the system, and professional. I recently had a leaking problem occur with my 3 year old Bradford White (Heat pump) water heater. After going to Bradford White's website and finding Contractors in my area, it led me to call Ohio Water Heaters (Pickerington, OH) where I spoke with the Owner, Mike. After Mike listened to me describe my issue, he said to me, I can either come out to your house and go through a thorough diagnostic and fix-it process myself, or, I can try to save you some money and tell you what you could try to do yourself to diagnose and fix your problem. Then, he literally gave me specific step-by-step instructions how to fix it myself. I decided to give it a try and I did exactly what he said. In the end, Mike was 100% correct about my water heater's problem and the plan to fix it. It's always great having someone to call who you have high confidence in, and the next time I need a plumber, I am definitely calling Mike!

Called because my water heater was making loud noises and I noticed the cold/hot water nipples on top were bent inward! Gentleman was friendly on phone and was interested in helping determine if my water heater was to far gone or not. After sharing a few things with him, he encouraged me to replace the water heater myself due to installing my own water softener, etc. however made it clear that him and his team stood ready to come help if I needed it! Definitely appreciate his honesty and encouragement! Glad to report I did install my water heater and expansion tank and the wife is happy!

Wife and I are first time home builders. Didn’t have the best contractor and found this out really fast when we didn’t have hot water. Called Ohio Water Heaters and they sent someone out that day. Long story short, we finally got hot water! Mike pointed out a few other things that our builder did wrong. Him and his employee were both extremely knowledgeable and very personable. Customer service is sort of a lost art nowadays but these guys were fantastic. We actually scheduled them to do a few other things next week and add a water softening system. Would definitely recommend these guys to anyone needing plumbing help.

Mike was able to quickly (and cheaply) diagnose a burned-out ignitor, and he even helped me manually fire up the furnace to get my house warmed up before everything could get fixed. Our water heater decided to burst at 1:45am. We called OWH at 7:30am, they were here by 10am and done with a new water heater installed by 11:30am! So happy with Mike’s responsiveness and Brandon’s skills. We would definitely use them again in the future!

They delivered and installed a high quality water heater 2 days after I ordered it. The tech went above and beyond during the install and moved the location a bit to open up room in the basement. I highly recommend.

I think the pipe insert I was told was intended to have hot water from tank to come to shower first instead of last. The water still took longer to begin to get warm. The sink spicket came out cold water a long time.to get hot water. The other spickets too much cold water came out. The pipe installed failed.

Called on a Sunday and they called back with a window for the following day. The $49 service arrival fee (discounted) didn't bother me at all. However, the $252 charge for an at best $50 part left me speechless. I paid the invoice just because it would be quicker than doing the repair myself as I am not experienced in plumbing at all. The only good comment I can make is they were quick to respond and quick to take my money.

I called Mr. Matheny as soon as I saw his response. After about 8 minutes of trying to explain the situation, he seemed confused as to why I called him, he said he would look into the service call and call me back that same afternoon. He did not. I did receive a call from an employee of Service Olympians who I again had to fully explain things to in detail. After another 6 or 7 minutes, he offered a food certificate as consolation and stated that someone from their office would contact me the following day and they would make arrangements to mail this information to me. This was August 29, 2018.

Today is September 17, 2018. I have not heard anything further from this company and it clearly highlights a lack of communication within the organization or a lack of respect for their customers or both.

These guys were very friendly and responsive. The project went a little slower than I had hoped, but the really made sure it was done right. Also, they were very willing to work with me on modifying scope to for my needs for piping a new bathroom.

I called Service Olympians on Saturday morning, got a service charge quote which was decent and was able to get them to my home that morning to do a repair on my kitchen sink which was leaking from the strainer basket to the drain. I tried to fix it myself, but couldn't get it to seal correctly so I thought that the job shouldn't be to hard or expensive. I was wrong. The tech came by and the first thing I swelled was smoke. Way to much smoke, but I over looked it. he got to work and gave me an estimate. 1st one was $1153.00 not kidding, 2nd was $500 +, nope not me. Last was $319 or something but since I was a 1st time user I got a discount down to $298. I thought that was still too high but I needed my kitchen sink. Only reason why I gave them 2 stars was because the tech and the receptionist were polite. I checked to see what the average price was for the work that I had done and the high end of it was $271. They are way too high. Sorry but I will not be calling them again.

I used Service Olympians for a lot of reasons but what sold me was the owner of the company. He looks at the reviews and professionally responds to them, especially the few that weren't so favorable. That meant to me that he takes it seriously and that impressed me. There were over 45 reviews, maybe two or three that were negative and he addressed those concerns to their satisfaction. When I used his service company's services he followed up with me within an hour after the service was completed. Who does that? They also work with you on the cost of the project, in my case they came in lowest price while not compromising quality of materials or labor. I was so impressed that I am now a member of their 3 x per year check of my furnace, AC now now sump pump. Good job, they get it.

We continue to receive wonderful service. We had our furnace installed and now they came to install our air conditioner. We also had a humidifier installed. Same fast and excellent service. Highly recommend.

needed a few minor plumbing repairs because didn't have the time to get the parts and do it myself. The guy came out and looked and told my wife I would be better off doing it myself as it will be too expensive? Then proceeded to charge $65 for the service call (with no service)!

Brian M called and asked if he could come earlier than the scheduled window. Yay! He looked at our under the sink, gave me a reasonable estimate and replaced our drain pipe under the sink. I will use this company for any future plumbing work.

I contacted home warranty because of a possible gas leak. I was told the water heater needed some parts to be replaced. After waiting for almost one month without hot water I decided to hire someone myself.
Mike from water heaters come out the same day I called. He turn on the water heater and told me that it seemed to be working fine. He did not even charged me the call fee. I am so grateful because he saved me money that I was going to spent due to the lack of knowledge from the previous technician.

Poor professionalism, hands down. Found them online through a recommendation from Home Depot and filled out a request online. I never received a call from them, as the email I received indicated I would. But, the email gave me contact information, so I called. A rep came out, told me what the problem was, and sent a list of estimated repairs. I called back to clarify the breakdown of the cost estimates, but did not receive a phone call back. When I finally did reach someone, I was given the breakdown of the cost estimates and told to make a choice of the work I wanted done and inform them via email. I informed them via email, but never received a call back to schedule the work. When I called again, I was told that they would have someone come out to do the work that I wanted done, on a specific day and time. When that specific day and time arrived, I received a phone call telling me that the parts were not in, that I did not have an actual appointment scheduled, and that I would have to wait 7 to 10 days for the parts to come in. No, thank you.

5 stars to CBUS!!! We have had them at our home several times . From the smallest things including checking the water heater, to replacing the house on kitchen faucet, to replacing our A/C unit..Mike and his crew are always prompt, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable, and very affordable. Highly recommend them you can't go wrong with them.

I called the office to inquire about having my water tank flushed. Lance was dispatched to do the work. He was in and out within an hour.

He also explained what he had done; gave recommendations and had me sign his tablet.

Friendly staff when you call in and when they arrive. When it comes to trouble shooting issues or completing your concerns they fall short. Beware of over charging 2 times more then others when it comes to refrigerate, also didn't offer cheaper products. It feels like if your desperate then watch out and call around you will be surprised on pricing. Never offered any refund amount- had to call another company to finish the work, they felt sorry for me for being over charged and job not complete.

We had a great rough-in crew come in and install our HVAC in our renovation however after a few months and several requests, we are still waiting for a rough inspection. Looks like we will need to find another company to finish the job they started.

I used this company to install a whole house humidifier. They were able to come out the same day to review my house/furnace and provided recommendations and estimates. They were able to come the next morning to install the system, which was done well, quickly and professionally.

These guys are great. They arrive on time, are polite and efficient. There is no hard sell of additional stuff, which I really appreciated. They suggested that a water softening device might be good for the tankless water heater they had installed earlier this year - which is fabulous and worth every penny, this visit was just annual furnace and water heater maintenance - but did not push it. My overall impression is that they are good guys, not in it just to sell more stuff.

This company is Awesome! I am a first time home buyer and as soon as we moved into our new home the A/c stopped cooling. I was told by our home Warranty that we had to replace the whole unit. I contacted Service Olympians to get a second opinion. Chris was sent to our house for a service call the same day. He was very through and professional explaining ALL of our options and the best part is that my A/C is cooling now thanks to Chris! I highly recommend using Service Olympians!

We had the furnace, A/C unit, and Water heater replaced by Cbus heating and cooling. Not only were they very quick to get us scheduled, but they were very professional, informative, and caring. They were careful to not make a big mess coming in and out of the house and they cleaned everything up before they finished. I would highly recommend this company to anyone needing HVAC work done.

I put out a Yelp Service Quote and S.O. was 1 of the 5 to reply. They were the first to reply, but with availability(days and times) to send someone out. WHERE'S THE QUOTE?

Upon asking them again, I got a direct answer for a furnace tune-up of $99. I checked their reviews. More on search engines than on Yelp, but I found some favorable ones from people who's reviews I respected.

I called into the office line Monday. It's crazy how the receptionist(phone) goes into scheduling mode without listening to your questions. She had to find assistance for paperwork to detail what was included in a furnace tune-up. Not everyone does the same things, much like getting a vehicle oil change. She was also able to get me an answer about the Half-Price Discount on Yelp. You purchase a $100 E-Gift Certificate(good for a year) at a $50 price. It can be used for any service, but with NO remaining balance given. An appointment was scheduled because their Tune-up is more extensive. I called back later to change my needs from Tune-up to Service call. The flame and gas shut off after about 15min, and the blower kept running.

You get texts that the technician is on the way. He was friendly, courteous, and polite to my wife(I was not in attendance). After examination and an over the phone explanation(by me), he said that the service call would be $50 and we should call him back when it is malfunctioning, without resetting it ourselves. Over the phone he told me our furnace is too big for our home and the ductwork was getting too hot, and shutting off for safety. Amazing how this just started after 14 years. He said he could install the proper size if I wanted. She gave him the E-GC, even though he said to save it for the next call. There would not be another call.

**Aftermath**
Another company sent a technician to educate me. S.O. wanted the furnace to not be reset, so the tech could see the flashing lights pattern. You can google the pattern to identify the code. There was no flashing light. He was partially correct though. The ductwork was getting hot and shutting down for safety. The part missed was the Ventor Motor assembly. It was getting hot and shutting off, which would not push the hot air through the ducts. All he had to do was wait the 15min for it to get hot and stop, to see it. We looked up the part, ordered it, showed me an install video, and left me to do it myself when it arrives. Ez Pz. Job accomplished for a $320 part, and 2 service calls of $50.

Lance did a terrific job and was very knowledgeable about our plumbing problems. I would highly recommend Service Olympians the next time you are experiencing plumbing issues.

I have had them come out to my house twice. I believe these guys know how to fix problems, but from getting 2nd opinions or price quotes I personally think they have tried to take advantage of me as a consumer. I was told it will cost $1,700 to fix my furnace working again and he suggested repairing the entire furnace for a $3,690 quote.....I had Care Heating and Cooling come out and the guy was able to get it working with a part that cost $195...... I wouldn't use these guys or refer them....wait the extra couple days to schedule with someone who is trustworthy and not after your hard earned money.

Spoke with Mike R. on the phone about a problem I had with my a.c. He gave me a couple things to check including the popped breaker I overlooked. (Duh...)

Called for an appointment on Friday and was quoted a $49 diagnostic fee, I was told that they needed a credit card on file. The day of the appointment no one called me to confirm that it was going to be higher. I called my tenant and asked if the tech was still there, he put the guy on the phone. Nothing was discussed in regards to the diagnostic fee being more. We discussed $1700 to fix or $4000 to replace. Then I go to pay my credit card bill and have a $180 charge when absolutely nothing was completed on this HVAC as well as no one getting permission from me for this charge. You can’t run someone’s credit card for a charge that wasn’t okayed that is simply fraud. I call to clear it up and am told that the tech assured her he explained it all to me. If so why would I be surprised!!! The tech never even called me, I called my tenant and have my cell bill to prove it. I would never recommend this company to anyone for any reason.

DO NOT use Service Olympians for HVAC service, they will RIP YOU OFF! My AC unit stopped working the evening of August 27. I called Service Olympians on August 28 and was pleasantly surprised that they would be able to dispatch a technician the same day. That is where the good-feelings ended. Service Tech that arrived, Chris, was rude and unprofessional.

Chris quoted a price of $793.09 to replace the Dual Capacitor ($369) on the unit and clean the Condenser Coils ($316.19) – adding an additional charge of $107.90 to pick-up the part.

Having a cursory knowledge of AC units, I was already aware that a can of AC Coil Cleaner costs around $7 from any home improvement store and that you can also clean your coils by spraying them off with a garden hose. Service Olympians will charge you over $300 for something that can be done in less than 2-minutes for free. A dual capacitor will run you about $20 and can be purchased at any AC supply store.

When I politely declined the service to be performed and explained that I was not comfortable with paying the inflated prices for repair, Chris complained that he was tired of dealing with customers that only wanted diagnostic work performed, going on to say that he was behind schedule because his time had been wasted. I assumed that he was paid by commission and was upset that I had not authorized his almost $800 worth of repair service.

After relaying my experience to a friend, I was encouraged to contact Pickerington Heating & Cooling -and I’m glad that I did. PH&C was also able to dispatch a technician, Mike, that same day when they could have easily pushed me off to the following day or after. Mike was extremely polite and professional. He was empathetic to my situation and extremely apologetic that he had to charge me $190 for the service call, cost of replacement part, and labor. Mike took the time to educate me on the AC unit and how to recognize and troubleshoot potential issues if they were to occur in the future.

I paid $600 less for repairs and received better service by NOT USING Service Olympians. I encourage everyone else to do the same.

Doesn't work with Home Warranty companies & believe me...I understand why?

These guys failed to get the correct permitting and inspection on a hot water heater they installed....were more than happy to sell us a service plan and offer a free 12-month cleaning on the water heater, but it's crickets...zero response...the phone number appears to not work and they have not responded to any of the half dozen requests made online. So, we have a gas tankless that has not passed inspection...despite repeated attempts to reach this company we have had zero response. Our next calls will be to the consumer protection bureau of the Attorney General. To make matters worse, the condensate drain basically fell apart and water drips directly onto the floor. This is really suspect behavior from a reputable company.
