Had an AC issue. The technician came out and diagnosed the issue fairly quickly. I was given a comprehensive explanation on the issue and the solution. The issue was fixed and the service was excellent. Would definitely use the company again and recommended to anyone having HVAC issues.

Emergency response related to a water damage event early on Father's Day morning. Daniel called and was here within 40 minutes. Courteous and professional and helped me move stuff around until we determined it wasn't the furnace condensate system after all, but rather a leaking water heater tank. HVAC system was due for routine maintenance, so he did that while he was here, and even helped me dump a few tubs of water from the wet vac. I can't say enough about Daniel and his courteous and professional service.P.S. It's been almost 4 hours since my first contact and the water restoration company(s) I've reached out to still haven't called. Happy Home has been here, done their job, and gone. Gotta love 'em.

Just had Daniel and Ivan come to the house to do a system check on their special. They stayed for about an hour. They were very thorough and gave us a full report. Nothing needed to be fixed, but they indicated a couple things to watch. Both gentlemen were very pleasant, efficient and knowledgeable. Thanks

Within an hour or so requesting services, the representative reached out to me, listened to me describe how my plumbing wasn't working and that I suspected it was a faulty faucet, they matched me up the next day with a professional. On the day of the appointment, Trevor contacted me, gave me a good idea of when he'd be there. He was on time, he assessed the situation and gave me options. The next day, he was again, on time and entirely fixed the issue without any issues.Trevor was professional, knowledgeable, prompt and courteous. I would highly recommend him and use Happy Home Services again

Charles, the manager, is very reasonable and helpful. I was thinking of having their units removed because the first few techs they sent me are not good. They finally sent Josh. Charles came also. The air-conditioning of one of the units is still not working. I just called them and someone named Daniel immediately called me back. I hope Josh or Charles will come out again to take a look.

I had 4 bath faucets, 1 garden tub faucet and two shower trims and the price estimate was over $3300.00! The gentleman that came out was most curtious and polite. I gave them the $52.00 service charge and said no thanks.

Happy Homes Installed New HVAC in December. When things started warming up and the AC was needed there was a problem. Called them and they got right on it. Sent Mike out to inspect the situation he found the issue ordered a part and repaired it efficiently and quickly. I recommend these guys for new installs and repairs they take care of their customers. Thank you Happy homes for taken care of me and my grandkids..

Happy Home has awesome service. I called around 1:30am Monday morning. My heat started blowing really cold air. I was impressed to receive a live voice on the 24 hour maintenance line. She took my information and within 30 minutes I received a call from the technician Chris. He was very friendly and told me how long it would take before he could get to my house. He also called when he was almost there!Chris came in so friendly and polite! It was freezing cold and in the middle of the night. He assessed the problem, explained to me how it could be fixed and I had warm heat blowing within an hour and a half. I also received an overall report on my heating system.I DEFINITELY recommend this company for HVAC repairs. Friendly, on time and knowledgeable!!

Corey Woodward was our technician and he was prompt and very polite. I appreciated him explaining to us not only what was going on with our hvac unit but when logging in our hot water heater and ac unit he was able to tell me approximately how old each unit was. Excellent customer service Corey! He was even able to fix the heating the same day and not even have to leave and come back.

Daniel was very friendly and professional while he was here. Told me exactly what he was doing and how everything looked. It's so nice when you get great customer service! I would not hesitate to recommend Happy Home Heating and Cooling.

Alex was our technician and he was very professional and identified the issue almost immediately. Quick resolution and good communication throughout the process. Will utilize this service moving forwards and yes, would recommend them.

Professional service, very courteous and accommodating. Some communication miscues regarding timing of installation were the only glitches in what otherwise was a smooth installation process.

Update: Air conditioner fixed --and the issue and part this company wanted to replace and quoted over 1,000 dollars and wouldn't even allow the 85 dollar initial fee to be applied was not even the problem.

Just had our blower motor replaced. Part was under warranty. Technician spent 1/2 hour yesterday diagnosing, and less than an hour under the house. Total cost $673. Warren-Hay would have cost between $300-400. These people are thieves!! Do not use Happy Home!!!Your InformationRichard Ward

Courteous staff, answered the phone quickly when calling late on a Sunday afternoon. After giving customer service my information they inform me that a service technician will call me within 30 minutes and exactly 29 minutes later I got a phone call from the technician.Alex Showed up to our home on time & did a great job servicing our AC unit. Alex was very professional and explained everything that he would be doing, walk-through all of our options, very professional!As hot as it’s been and as many service calls as I’m sure Alex and the rest of his team are performing he did not cut corners he did a very thorough job late on a Sunday evening. Service like this is hard to come by.

Absolutely a scam.I was having issues with my AC and called to have one of Happy Home's technicians come out to service it.I was told by the tech and by John Ross the supervisor that the evaporator coil was full of holes and needed to be replaced for $3,200.I had my suspicions and got a second opinion from a different company the next day. This tech from the other company said the coil was perfectly fine and my only problem was the motor being slightly wonky and needing to be turned on and off a few times before the system would come back on.If I could give zero stars I would because this company seems to rather cheat people out of their money then actually provide a service.

Ray did an awesome job today performing my annual maintenance on my AC. I had been having issues the past week or so and thought it was my thermostat but he quickly identified and resolved the issue and gave suggestion on how to keep it from reoccurring.Would highly recommend Happy Home Heating & Cooling. Juan was one of the best experiences i have had with people doing work on my home or investment properties. Very professional and took the time to share what he found and what he did. The AC at my home was not cooling last week while I was overseas. Shoutouts to their technician Josh who worked smoothly with my tenant/house mate and solved the issue and replaced the worn capacitor in the outdoors unit, all the while keeping me updated through texts. Moreover, I was happy that Happy Home honored their parts and labor warranty on the AC unit, which I bought 3 years ago from them. Overall a very positive experience!

EricWelsh was project manager and converted our system from propane to natural gas. It’s a complex ordeal with lots of inspectors and steps in the process. He got it all done in one day. We are very grateful for his planning ,perseverance and expertise. I would highly recommend him. We are warm tonight!

I don't typically go out of my way to write a review. I had an HVAC question and was recommended by a friend to try calling Happy Home for advice. They specifically mentioned Paige as a great resource and man, they weren't kidding! She answered all my questions and then some. Great knowledge base in her field. I will definitely call Happy Home when I need HVAC or Plumbing services handled. If the technicians are anything like Paige, this must be one heck of a company!

I met technician Peter Mason twice this week. Both were for fall maintenance on my gas pack & my mom's. Peter is friendly, professional & knowledgeable. Answered all question. The thing I like the best is that Peter is very thorough!!

Had a maintenance recently and the way that you get a picture and description of the technician coming out to your home to do the work is a very nice and impressive touch. I found out that Josh was on his way and I knew a little about him, his experience level, what he looked like, and even some of his likes. Very personal touch. Almost like family. I like that. Josh was right on time and he was extremely thorough and took alot of time making sure my mothers furnace was safe for winter use because it had some age on it. The lady I spoke with on the phone was named Marsha I believe..she was very nice and personable. Overall I felt like they actually cared about my best interests. And Josh was very patient and did all I asked of him with a smile on his face even though he said he had been working really long hectic hours. Even though he was tired he still took the time to do all i asked of him and answered all my questions treated me like I was important and I appreciated that and he did it with a smile on his face. The service technician was very friendly and helpful. He answered my questions, fixed one issue that we had been having, researched our warranty and replaced some parts that were not working properly. He did a very thorough job including cleaning and replacing the filters. He was one of the best technicians that we have ever had.

Juan, the supervisor and his assistant, were attentive to my concerns about replacing the gas water heater. He presented ideas for my consideration; was not pushy. I would call him for any plumbing needs.

Chris Reynolds serviced our winter check up on our heating unit and did a thorough job. Also checked our duct system and carbon monoxide thermostats. Mention that our dryer duct system should be replaced with a sold duct so no lint would build up. Told him will get back with him after the holidays. The company should be proud to have Chris as an employee.

The first thing that made this an A+ standout company to me is the fact that when I called a person answered the phone. I had contacted 4 other plumbing companies in the past week and got voicemail and told I would receive a call back and that didn't happen.I had almost given up however we have been putting off the sink drain repair for quite awhile and needed to get it done. I received a postcard in the mail that Happy Home had completed services on a home in our area recently...so off I went to check the reviews for the company and can honestly say that I know why they are a 4.8 🌟 company on Google reviews!The second thing that made this company an A+ is that the same day I called a technician was dispatched to my house to check the issue and give me a guaranteed estimate for repair.Ricky was our technician and he was professional, friendly, and explained everything that needed to happen to resolve the issue to where it could be understood by someone who is not a plumber.The third thing that makes this company an A+ company is the fast service! Ricky left our house and within 30 minutes I received a text to call and schedule the repair day. I called and was put on the schedule for 2 days later! I mean WOW!Ricky came out today to do the repair and did a fantastic job. He completed the job within a few hours and made sure that the work space he worked in was clean. Had a shower that would not turn off, on a Friday night at 8pm. Took apart the hardware and still could not get it to shut off without turning off water to the whole house. Called Happy Home (first time I've used them) and was told they had a technician on call, who was not currently on a service call, so I would hear shortly. By 11pm I had the part repaired and was able to have running water the rest of the weekend. Not the cheapest (but really no plumbing service is) but can't beat the weekend evening response, and the repair was promptly and correctly completed.

Simon Lee is the best. He serviced our units a while back and we requested that he help us today. He goes above and beyond in some very tight places (basement and attic) and very hot conditions. Always upbeat. Great guy. We just signed on for another service agreement because Simon and Happy Home take really good care of us. We wish Simon could service appliances and cars too!

Greg and David were great! Very quick service (especially for a Saturday!) and friendly, understanding people. Having to replace an entire unit is not a fun deal, but they had good recommendations, prices, and financing. We had to replace our 14 year old HVAC system recently. The work was done in a timely manner. We had a technician by the name of Ivan Romero come out to do a quality check of the system. He not only checked everything on his check list but addressed this issue of uneven airflow in the different rooms. He was able to check it out and come up with a solution to my problem. He worked through his solutions until I was satisfied. Great company to work with.

Paige was really helpful when I had questions. She went above and beyond to help me with my situation and my decision. With staff of Paige’s caliber, I feel comfortable that I’m getting a quality professional. I will definitely call on Happy Home again the next time I have a problem.

I own a small (900 sq ft) fixer upper bungalow in downtown Durham and recently got a refinance. I called to have an estimate on full hvac replacement. I’ve done my research on national and local cost of replacing my unit with new ductwork as well. Technician came out and took one look at my home and asked me how much I had to spend. I stated the local average, the same price two of my neighbors had paid for the exact same work. He told me without examining system an amount that was double local average and thousands above the highest end of national average. Obviously a place that goes for richer clients and rakes them over the coals.

Peter was timely, and professional. He explained what was involved and responded to a last minute request to reroute the condensation drain at a reasonable price and completed it in less than 30 minutes.

I think I got taken advantage of. Single mom of three kids got charged 540 to replace two cords. Nice morals

I like this company. They replaced my furnace and A/C units a few years ago when the company was called Comfort Engineers. Both units have been running smoothly ever since. Today Ivan Romero conducted the fall service that I had signed up for. I was impressed by his attention to detail and that he spent over 90 minutes ensuring that my units were set for the winter. I'm happy.

Happy Home gave me a quote of $1,599.00 to Replace Circuit Board on Heat Pump. I called an independent contractor and had it done for $550.00
AC works great for a $1,000.00 LESS.

Well pump pipe to house ruptured flooding backyard. Cut well pump off and called them. Despite living 30 minutes outside of town they were at my house within an hour and 20 minutes. Did a temporary repair that night and returned the next day for permanent repair with only the single visit charge.

AC stopped in the middle of the night. Called Happy Home after a friend referred me. I have to admit that I was extremely satisfied with the level of professionalism and courtesy by Simon Lee and his team. Exceptional work and superior customer care. Would highly recommend for your HVAC needs.

ALEX ROMERO was the professional that came to help with my heater. Very knowledgeable, friendly, thorough and skillful. Plus, he is bilingual! which helps a lot. Simon Lee was our technician and I can’t say enough good things. He spent a tremendous amount of time finding a Small leak in the system that other technicians couldn’t find, did all the work efficiently and with a smile on his face. While I hope we don’t need any AC repairs soon, I’ll be requesting Simon by name next time we do.

They were very professional and very polite. I needed a new unit and I wasn’t pressured into buying a new one. They showed me all the problems that was wrong with the system and some of the leaks. I’m very happy with them and would definitely use them again.

We called Happy Home Services when our heater went out in the midst of very cold temperature drops in a bit of a panic. They were able to send a technician out that day to diagnose the problem and as feared it was recommended we replace our entire heating/cooling system. We were not surprised though considering the system was 20 years old and we are glad we decided to go with the recommended system. Everyone we encountered at Happy Home Services from appointment coordinators, technicians and sales associates were extremely professional, ensured our safety by wearing masks/booties when entering our home and took time to explain the problem to us. We are going to be customers for a very long time to come.

The technician was very thorough. He even went up in the attic to see how the connection was to thermostat. He diagnosed the problem and fixed it. ( But I paid $ 85+ to find out I needed 2 batteries!!)

This past week I had my first maintenance visit to check on my system. Chris showed up on time and found a couple cracks in my heat exchange which could allow gas leaks. He provided pictures of the issue and called in Steve to put another pair of eyes on the problem. By the time Steve showed up and confirmed the issue, Chris had already verified the details on a replacement part and warranty status of my current system. Steve provided several options to resolve the issue in the context of the warranty on my system and was helpful in answering my questions. This is a problem that I most likely would not have been able to find myself until it presented as a major issue, so I am happy for the thorough inspection and ability to work out a quick resolution.

My wife and I were having some issues with our HVAC. We reached out with recommendations from friends. John H. came out and did an amazing job on servicing our system. We would highly recommend this company looking for work in the Raleigh area.

My A.C. went out. Alex the 1st technician reviewed the problem. He was kind courteous and very knowledgeable. After weighing the options to fix or replace we chose to replace. We scheduled the install for 3days later (my request). Saturday 2 technicians arrived, both very polite following Covid protection guidelines and began to get right to work. It was a very hot 90+ day. They spent most of the day either in the hot attic or blazing sun. If they ran across an issue they were able to get assistance via phone or at one point another employee arrived to help. I am very happy and impressed with their thoroughness. THEY GOT IT DONE. My heat went out on one of the coldest days! Brian came out promptly to our house and had it back and running in no time. He was so friendly to myself and my husband. He explained so much to us. Im so glad I called this company!

Called to repair an outdoor faucet, which they assured me when I called and had to pay a $80 estimate fee they could repair when I asked for them to come out. The estimate is put back into when they fix it so I thought it wouldn’t be bad to pay it if I was gonna get it fixed anyway. They came out and basically said they could not fix it. Had to pay the fee even though I do not think it is right. The receptionist assured me when I booked them that “they should not be plumbers doing the job if they can’t fix it” which is why I even agreed to paying the fee as I assumed it would be fixed. Wasted my time, lunch break from work and money. Complete waste of time and completely disappointed. Would never book this company again. If they tell you they cannot fix it then they should not require an $80 estimate free.

They have a Great system where they email you a picture of the technician 30 minutes before their arrival and they bring out a supervisor to help if you need a new system quote. They were able to fix our system very quickly and even allowed me to do the repair myself because it was a just a bad power switch that was unrelated to the HVAC system. This saved me $135. They seem to be honest and a good company and I learned that I probably need to replace my second-floor AC system, but there was no pressure from them to do so. They showed me the rust in the system and demonstrated the problems with it so I’m getting bids now, but you know they are my top runner right now. Great job Happy Home Services... Customer for life here!

We had Happy Home Services come out for a proposal when we were replacing our HVAC system. We weren't impressed with their pricing or their transparency. So, we went with another company. Since then, as others have also experienced and noted, we have been spammed with large marketing mailers that they will not stop sending even though we have asked them multiple times to please stop sending them.

Alex was on time professional polite smart and resourceful. We awoke with me heat and 17Degrees at 3 AM by 4:30 PM everything was fixed and the whole house was heating up real pleasure to do business with this company

They were able to find and repair a leak on my HVAC line going through my attic. Installed a new pipe on the outside of my townhouse ( the one by the window) that match the other one already. Damon and Eric were very helpful and easy to work with through the process as well the the other 2 guys :) that did the labor. They did the job in just a few hours and left everything back in place and clean. I will definitely be using for any future needs.

Ray Schneller worked hard to figure out my problem with my AC, which was not self-evident. But he didn't give up till he figured out what the problem was and then he solved it.

Technician Simon Lee has been here before and we requested him especially to diagnosis why our HVAC was not operating more efficiently. He spent 3 hours very carefully analyzing the system and wrote up a detailed description of what would improve its operation.

Alex Romero provided superior service on a Sunday to repair our a/c while on call. He was very friendly and professional and completed his work efficiently. Great job and great customer service.

Very positive experience with Happy Home. Our technician, Trevor, came by and looked at my kitchen faucet leak along with a few other items. He offered practical guidance and when we decided to fix the leak, he instantly added me to the schedule for the day and prioritized the issue, despite having other obligations to tend. The faucet was replaced was brilliantly fixed in under two hours. excellent value from a company that centralizes sincerity and service. while many businesses just seek to extort you for the highest bid, Happy Home demonstrates genuine care for their customers throughout their process. highly recommend!

Overall it was an ok experience. The technician made up for any down falls. I had some minor issues on the scheduling side (they rescheduled my original appointment due to weather, which was fine, I was a maintenance call and they needed to attend to folks that had no heat. However, no one called back to follow up and reschedule as promised, I had to make the call a few days later to reschedule. When my appointment time had passed I had to make another call to check on the appointment when no one showed up only to find out that they never put me on the schedule. Jackie was apologetic and was able to schedule a tech a few hours later that day.) The tech (Sean) was awesome, friendly, professional, courteous and informative. He took the time to listen to my concerns and offered solutions. I am willing to try again, hopefully it was just a one off and not their SOP. (Standard operating procedure)

Updated Review: After having my initial appointment canceled and leaving the review below, Happy Home Services reached out and had a technician come to my home on the day of the original appointment to ensure they could provide the services I needed and had Anthony come back the next day to clean my dryer vent. He was courteous, professional and knowledgeable and took care of my issue quickly while also providing advice on caring for my AC system. I’m still not a fan of them canceling appointments to cater to other clients, but the service I received after the initial headache was great. You can read my original review below.Original Review: I made an appointment with Happy Home Services three weeks before they were to come to my home to do some work. The day before the appointment they said that they had VIP customers who called so they would need to reschedule my appointment and the soonest they could come would be a month later. They didn’t mention this VIP program when I made my initial appointment and basically tried to make me pay a subscription fee in order to get their services. It felt very much like a tactic to get a monthly payment instead of payment for a one time service. I don’t recommend using them and if you do, be prepared for them to cancel if you don’t purchase a VIP customer package. They won’t tell you that up front.

Called and tried to get help with my Well pump. First thing I asked the lady when I called and she replied she had only been employed a week let her find out. In October of 2019, we had Happy Home come out to service our heating system. We knew when we bought our townhome that the heating system was old and that we were probably looking at replacing it. When Happy Home came out that was indeed the case, as well as our air conditioner. Happy Home was very professional, took pictures of the problems and discussed with my husband by phone and email the problems and our options with detailed estimates. Happy Home's installation was extremely thorough and extremely clean since our unit was located in the upstairs attic. When I contacted Happy homes HVAC company, they scheduled an appointment with Ronnie Wright . He came on time as scheduled and very professional. He found issue immediately and fixed it in hour and machine started working . Thank you Ronnie for your time. I had the best experience with Happy Home! The tech who came out to check out the problems with my A.C., Alex, was so kind and very thorough. He gave me all of my options but did not try to push me into getting a new unit which in the end is what I decided to do since my unit was 16 years old. He explained to me each piece that was broken and what problems didn’t need to be fixed today but would be coming up. Eric, the main guy I spoke to during installation was probably the friendliest tech I’ve ever met! The whole crew was so professional and got the job done in 90 degree heat installing my unit on my roof. At the end, Eric walked me through each piece of the unit and my new thermostat and all the possible settings. I am so happy that I chose them to do my services. I would recommend them to anyone!

Our AC broke while we were in Jamaica and my mom was house sitting for us. She called Happy Home on a Sunday afternoon and Corey came over in just a few hours and fixed our AC! He spoke to us over the phone and described the problems and the cost, and we were able to give him our CC information over the phone instead of him charging my mom. He was friendly, knowledgable, and courteous. We will definitely use Happy Home again in the future!

I was extremely pleased with Alex and his professionalism. He was extremely polite and calm, explaining to me what he planned to do and asking me questions about what I knew about the unit. This company seems to be just what a person would want to find, the light from the first phone call through the end of the service visit.

Matt Fisher came out after hours to take care of a problem we were having. He took care of it promptly and explained what haf caused the problem, and then explained about the maintenance policy that we could sign up for. The cost of the maintenance policy for one year was not very much more than the cost of the after-hours emergency repair that he came to do. It was very clear that it was a no-brainer to pay for an annual policy to keep our system running trouble free. I cannot say enough about Matt Fisher and his professionalism!

I have used Happy Home for plumbing at my home and Juan did an excellent job, so when the hot water heater at my business failed on A Friday at 6 pm HH was my first call. Juan was here within 30 minutes to diagnose the problem. He clearly explained what had happened and the company gave us several alternatives on how to finance the new heater and install. Very helpful since COVID has made every penny really count.The next day Juan and Jeremy removed the crumbling and corroded old water heater and installed the new one.Juan even helped me move the refrigerator and other junk to make the space ready for the new unit!Juan is a great plumber for a great company. Don Hall Htg & Cooling had been my HVAC source since I bought my house in Oct 2000 so I was not sure about changing companies. I decided to call them to renew my annual preventative maintenance hoping they still had the same employees. Jeff had been my service provider for several of those years. He was knowledgeable, professional and friendly and always arrived when he said he would. Their work was reliable and I felt their prices were in line with the local market. This time Alex provided my service and his professional customer service and knowledge helped confirm my choice was a good one.

During a routine maintainance check there was a gas leak found. Alex Romero was very nice and professional. The gas was turned off and the gas pack was replaced the following day. Nice.

I have had AC issues for roughly a year that I have been trying to self Diagnose. I called and within 24 hours Ronnie came out and diagnosed and fixed everything in under an hour. He was quick, explained what was going on and was super professional and nice. All in it was cheaper than just diagnosis services I have tried to use in the past with other companies who did not even fix anything!

I had to call Happy Home to fix our AC about five times (sorry but I lost count) and each time they quickly sent a tech out. However, within days the AC would not be working again, e.g. the t-stat reading in the room was 81deg and the setting was 76. Finally, Corey (tech) came out and fixed the problem.Fortunately, I was only charged for one visit; despite them replacing several parts (for free) and usually sending a tech out during off hours. I can't image how much this repair cost Happy Home, but the system is now working properly and I hope that it continues to work properly.

I have a maintenance plan with this company. They come out twice every year, once during heating season and once during cooling season to keep my system working.

I was really pleased with the overall experience. They were very responsive and able to fit us in the same day when our water heater went out. They called to give a heads up before the technician arrived and sent a picture too. The technician identified that the problem was actually electrical and so we had to call an electrician, but his diagnosis was correct and we were able to get it fixed the following day.

Ivan did a great job identifying the problem and communicating the next steps of the process. He was professional and courteous. Greg, came and verified the problem. Wonderful response by all involved. Special thanks to Alex who was very thorough and attentive to the HVAC tune-up, and who diagnosed problems with the air scrubbers. Units were replaced under warranty without a problem.Kudos also to the office staff who called and offered a very timely plumbing inspection, and got Theron to the door within half an hour. This unexpected bonus as part of our VIP plan led to a replacement of a faulty hot water shutoff valve under the kitchen sink. Theron provided a clear explanation of the problem and his proposed solution, along with high and low estimates depending on how much damage needed repair. Estimate and hot water heater installation. Trevor was our #ztechnician a very likeable professional guy on time and responsive to our questions and inquiries regarding the install. We felt immediately comfortable with him and felt confident that he knew what he was doing and his work was indicative to that fact. Price of install was about as expected for a 1 tank install to the tune of $3,000 which included an HVAC yearly maint pckg 😬. So far the system appears to be working well.🙂

I called Happy Home Services after coming home to a hot house where the AC wasn't working. The company told me someone would be able to come out the same day and would call me back within 30 minutes to schedule the appointment, and, indeed, Simon Lee called me back and let me know that he was wrapping up another appointment but would be there as soon as he could. He informed me of the price ahead of time and called me later to let me know he was on his way. By the time he arrived it was already dark out, but he still stayed for hours to get my AC up and running and crawled under my house to service the unit. He was thorougly professional, kind, and knowledgeable. He explained the issue with my unit and gave me a very reasonable price. My crawlspace door was messed up and wouldn't close, and he even jerry-rigged something to keep it shut until I could get it properly fixed. I appreciated his diligence even given the last minute appointment and the fact that he had another appointment to get to after me. Fully satisfied with the service I received. Thank you :)

I have used Comfort Eng . / newly Happy Home Residential for at least 25 years now . Always have been happy with the service until yesterday when they sent a service tech out named Josh I was taken back as to how non personal and cold this man was letting me know very little about what he found with my unit he serviced . Less than 24 hours after he left my AC system went down ! I called for emergency repair and they sent out John Ortega who was very experienced and explained everything it could be and what he found after inspecting the unit . It seems the transformer was sitting in water and had blown out for moisture that was collecting in the tray . A very obvious problem yet totally missed by Josh !John Ortega did an outstanding job getting me back up and running and seemed to really care about my satisfaction . He went above and beyond to make me happy even trying to reduce the emergency call charges !I am happy this was resolved but would ask that Happy Home select employees for customer service like John Ortega ......and let the ones like Josh stay in the office and just answer the phone .Well two weeks later my whole system blew up and burned filling the house with smoke . I called Happy Home in the middle of the night and a service tech came and explained it was a total loss and that a manager would be out in the morning to give me my options for replacement . I met Steve Rice on Friday morning and signed a contract for a brand new system costing 12 K ........ Steve helped me get through the sticker shock and even made financing easy for me ! Good guy ......The install crew came first thing Monday morning and got me well on the way so by Tuesday afternoon I was cool and comfy once again . Alston Gregory and Andre were great to work with and gave me a whole new level of appreciation for the happy home team . I worked with the owner of this company (Lane) on an acquisition project and came away very impressed. One of the biggest reasons for Happy Home's success is the fact they make an effort to hire employees with great attitudes, then put them through an extensive in-house training program. They not only teach the technical side of the business, but have a strong emphasis on customer service. This company has grown rapidly and has a stellar reputation... not easy to do in this industry Most heating & air companies are struggling to find good employees, but this company is making a big investment in time and money to grow them from within, then paying them for great performance. Nice to see someone doing it right.

Good sleuthing. Solved the issue same day service on our HVAC

I asked to be moved to early afternoon and was pleased to have that happen. The technician did a thorough job.

Woke up this morning without hot water. Called the wrong guys to fix it. They replace parts of the hot water heater (without asking me first) and then told me that it was a circuit breaker issue. I remembered that Happy Home does that work and that I had a service agreement with them (don't ask me why I didn't call them first; just forgot). They came out within a few hours and re-checked the other guys work. It was not a circuit breaker problem. The other guys had fixed the problem but installed the quick disconnect incorrectly. I now have hot water. Save yourself some time and headache. Call the professions; call Happy Home Services. Juan L., you saved the day. Thank you.

We had them completely replace our HVAC unit for the upstairs system less than a year ago. This summer is the first time we really used the AC. Install went great but we noticed the return airs are now very loud when using the AC. I requested they come out to come take a look and make sure everything is ok. They called me and said we can either pay the diagnostic fee for them to come out or start up a monthly maintenance plan on our two units. I paid them $7k and they can't come and check the system when we actually start really utilizing it?! I find this to be very unprofessional and honestly called around to others like Michael and Son and they said if they installed it they'd be out in a heartbeat. I'm realizing that they don't care about long term customers. Also, I owned a review and reputation software company and the reason they have 600+ reviews with a 5 star rating is they have a software that filters your rating. If in their 100 requests for you to review your service you try it, if you rate less than exceptional it doesn't ask you to leave a public facing review. I am very disappointed as a customer and wish we went with another provider. Just take into consideration what company you hire and how far they would go to make sure you are 'happy' and just making sure they did the job you paid them for. You can certainly make your own decision, as I'm sure not all encounters are negative, but I want any potentially new customer to take this into consideration and not be left paying more.

I had a VIP 1 yr service warranty and it was not honored. My blow fan went out. This could have been avoided if the VIP maintenance was done correctly. When I spoke with company reps concerning the items not done and the low level( not VIP) service I paid for and received was partially the blame, they did right by me. I only ended up paying half for part only. Labor was free and received another 1 yr VIP service warranty for free. I am very satisfied with the outcome. Thanks for compromising and being understanding from my perspective. after the fan about 2 months later experiencd same issue. tech said freon was low. spent $500. 3 days later same issue. all my $500 was gone back too same issue. I feel like I was hoodwinked and deceived. if they had done their job by servicing my unit properly the issues would has been caught in time. a whole year of faking servicing my hvac unit. now after 800 for fan, 500 for freon and 300 for VIP service warranty I'm out. unit needs to be replaced. I feel they sabotage my unit to trick me into purchasing a new one. nope..... I DO NOT BUYERS BEWARE. RECCOMMEND THIS COMPANY. nope don't need no estimate... get off my property....

I live in Graham North Carolina I happened to have to stop by family Dollar in Graham when I got out of the car I heard a man on the phone right loudly cussing and fussing on the phone then I noticed it was a company vehicle big box truck from Happy home not very professional at all being a company I definitely won't use that company if they're that unprofessional

My AC went out on the Fourth of July. I called Happy Home Heating Cooling the next morning. I was originally scheduled for a 5 pm appointment. They came at 12 pm and my AC was up and running by 1 pm. Knowable technician, quality work and overall great customer service.

I received a very clearly written letter 2 weeks ago explaining the name change from Comfort Residential too Happy Home. This was helpful information. Included was a suggestion to initiate twice yearly maintenance. I’ve never done this before, but the letter was so affirming, and the services offered so extensive, I decided to sign up. I just spent 90 minutes with maintenance tech Daniel. He was very friendly, explained everything he was doing, emphasizing keeping the system efficient and helping it last longer. He took off the covers of the unit in the attic, and the condenser outside, inspected everything and took a number of readings. Then he sprayed the unit with cleansing foam, and washed it off with water. A thorough job – I’m glad I got it done.

The three technicians that have been been here have been polite, friendly, and they communicated clearly, and fully.I look forward to having my new system installed on Tuesday.R. C. Staton

Sadly our 35 yo heat finally played out. The Happy Home was quick to respond, diagnose & offer options.

My air conditioning at home stopped working. I contacted Happy Home Heating & Cooling based on excellent online reviews. I was able to speak with someone after hours (8PM). Since issue was non-urgent, requested call back the following day, which promptly happened at 7:30am.The technician, Daniel Hines, came to my home later that morning. He performed a thorough diagnostic evaluation and determined where the problem was. Everything was fixed the same day for a fair price. Daniel was excellent and highly recommended.Will 100% work with Happy Home Heating & Cooling in the future. Highly recommend to others.

Technician Alex R came on a cold Sunday afternoon and got our heat working quickly. Fast and efficient worker.

Tech Ronnie found my no-heat situation was due to faulty thermostat. He went over different options for replacing or upgrading. Very nice guy, didn’t make me bad about what a mess I had in my house, and very patient.

The service technicians are always polite and contact you when they are on their way. They are through and willing to answer questions.

Juan has helped us with a number of needs over the past year, including a water heater replacement and a (major) water main break - he is terrific in every way. I am grateful for how responsive Juan and Happy Homes is, providing a same or next day appointment almost every time. Juan and all the techs are very professional and exceptional in their communications -- texting and calling 30 min before arrival, calling to talk through issues and options after assessment of the problem, and immediately scheduling the service as needed. Happy Homes keeps to its estimates and communicates any needed additions/changes prior to doing the work. I really could not be more pleased with the service or the company -- highly recommended!!

Happy Home sent a technician to my house for the regular seasonal check on my A/C system (which they also installed). Josh did a great job. He arrived on time, called me about 25 minutes before to let me know he was coming, was extremely courteous and pleasant to work with. He thoroughly checked my system and found a minor issue that he recommended for a second opinion from one of their technicians (no extra charge). He also gave advice and a quote on duct cleaning after I mentioned that we get a lot of dust in the house. I've been using Happy Home for many years and have always been impressed by their staff and service. They hire top quality people.

WASTE OF TIME AND MONEYHad a 12-5pm scheduled appointment for water heater trouble. Got a call at 4:45 that they weren’t coming until the next day. The following day the plumber takes a water sample doesn’t even look at the water heater and says he’ll find out the results in about a week!… and that he would write up an estimate for a water heater replacement, if that was the problem.THREE WEEKS later still NOTHING ….so I called the office and spoke with a young lady who told me the plumber would call with an update, which I knew was dishonest because she didn’t take my information.So after waiting THREE WEEKS of my family taking a shower in stinky water, I called a local recommended plumber who got me a NEW water heater in DAYS versus weeks. If you can’t do the job, just say so and don’t waste our time. And save the “so sorry” response. Because words don’t mean anything, actions do!

Had some issues with HVAC unit and Michael Pernell came out on a Saturday to assess the situation. Fortunately the unit started working and may have just been in defrost mode since the fan was not spinning, but time will tell. I had a good experience with happy home heating and cooling. They sent someone out the very evening I called. Alex Romero was my technician. He was very friendly and spent a good bit of time trying to figure out my heating issue. I was very happy with my experience and I felt like the service was reasonably priced especially for having to come out so late in the evening.

Tech came to check ac unit , needed to call supervisor for everything, Why not just send supervisor to do the job. Company never called back about price to repair unit. Went with another company who got my new system installed and running the same day.

Happy Home was able to accommodate me the same day I called, and the whole experience with them was extremely professional. I got a text and and a call with a picture of the technician before the visit, and then technician Daniel Hines came out to check my older HVAC system since I was concerned about it's age and possible CO leaks. He was very nice, very thorough, took pictures of every part of the unit to show me the condition of each part of the unit that could be a concern, and sent me a followup email so I can discuss decisions with my people. He offered me a service plan and the purchase of a CO detector without being pushy, which I really appreciate. A friend recommended their services and I will certainly be recommending them as well! The VIP service plan even includes building up credit towards a new unit when the time comes.

I had a broken tub faucet where I stripped the screw trying to remove the cartridge. Juan came and removed it and even found the part at Lowe's for me to get it myself. I like that he realized that if someone is handy that $275 to replace it was not the best use of money. I will definitely be using them in the future. I'm saving their number in my phone so I don't have to go to the internet. I'm definitely Happy with their Home Services.

He patiently explained each of the systems he was checking as he diagnosed my failed propane heating system, and was not perturbed by me joining him to learn more about my HVAC system.

UPDATE: I'm so glad I got a second opinion before letting these folks con me - over a year later and my unit is still working just fine!When my A/C stopped working, I called this company for help because they were the first available. Someone came to take a look, then had their supervisor come out, who told me that there were at least two coolant leaks and that the unit would need to be replaced (they showed me an estimate to repair, but it was almost as much as replacing). They said that they got the unit back up temporarily, but that I should only run it at night because it could go down again if I tried cooling the place during the heat of the day. I called another company for a second quote, and when they came out, the person told me there was nothing wrong with it except it looked like there had been some condensation that probably caused a system lockout. I would have had to pay almost 5k if I hadn't gotten a second opinion. My A/C has been working fine ever since, and it's been almost two months. Don't trust Happy Home!!!

A great experience! The technicians arrived this morning ahead of schedule. They were friendly, polite, and focused on the work. During the time they worked, we weren't even aware they were here. They answered all our questions quite well. Highly recommended for new installations (which we had) and maintenance work (which we have experienced at our annual inspections).

This was our first experience with this firm. The company had acquired the company we had used for over 20 years.This past Friday, our heat pump failed after 20 years so we called for service. A technician , Josh, and field supervisor, Charlie promptly scheduled an appointment with us and arrived on time. A text and email with their respective photos and introductions were sent 30 minutes in advance of their arrival.The problems were quickly diagnosed and we decided it was time to replace the heat pump and air handler with new, more efficient units rather than repair the aging system.Over the weekend, we received a call from Eric, requesting a time over the weekend when he could stop by to work up the materials and details the install crew would need to get an early start on Monday.As promised, first thing Monday morning, we received a text and email introducing the install crew, Austin and Andre, and they drove up at the agreed time and got right to work.The installation went smoothly as Austin and Andre were skilled and well versed with their jobs. The install was expertly done, and they left the work areas in spotless shape.By late afternoon we had new units operational as the temperature began to drop overnight. They took the time to answer any questions we had and walked us through the use of the new programmable thermostat before they left the job.We couldn't be more pleased, all of the crews were polite, courteous and professional. The installation was high quality and the company couldn't have been more responsive to our needs.We look forward to our continued relationship with Happy Home Heating & Cooling for years to come.Best Regards, John

Replaced water heater which had leaked and flooded. Technician, Ricky was excellent. Difficult job well done!

I called to have them come drain and service our hot water heater. Juan was on time, friendly, quick, and extremely knowledgeable. He warned us that since we are on a well, it may be impossible to drain due to sediment build-up. This was the case and he showed us exactly what he was talking about. He could have easily drained and serviced it for us and we would not have known otherwise.We were prepared for the sales pitch that we need a new hot water heater since this one is so clogged. Nope. He didn't do that. He said as long as we have enough hot water there was no need for that expense. He also diagnosed why our water filtration system stopped working; it turns out it worked 10 years past its normal life expectancy. Sweet.He also informed us that our pipes need to be replaced sooner than later because they are faulty. We've been told this by other companies but the explanation was never given. If we had known about these in the 90's they would have been replaced for free! Dang!He gave us quotes on replacing those; he tested our water to see what filtration system we need and gave us a quote on that as well.It was an overall great visit! We will be calling them for these repairs once we move forward. Great company and fantastic technician!

Update: Erik from Happy Home came out today to do electrical work for us. He also did a great job and made me glad that I continue to use Happy Home around our home.Daniel was great—he came out at night when our AC stopped working—he was here from 5 to 11 PM and got the system up and running. We really appreciated his hard work.

Joel and Jason were great at installing a new AC unit and helped to explain new wifi thermostats and made sure I had carbon monoxide alarms as well in the right spots. They were very friendly and professional. John was very helpful in explaining the repair (several parts were old and needing replacement and getting a new unit was cheaper) and was also very kind and professional.

Happy Home installed 2 ACs and 2 heaters in the past 3 years. When we initially had problems with one HVAC installation, diagnosed the defect after a few tries ( needed a bigger size to cool our bedrooms) and then replaced the AC of their own accord. The owner actually came to our home and fixed everything. We were so surprised and satisfied with their service.Today they installed 2 heaters which were leaking after 16 years. He found my problem causing the heat to not come on and fixed it and ordered a new pressure switch to replace my old one that was worn out. He explained my bill to me and showed me the advantages of getting a system maintenance contract which we got. I was warned by Ronnie that there was a good chance it would not last much longer so he ordered a new switch. I called Amber and Autumn at Happy Home and they were so nice, professional and understanding and got right on the situation. Since I had already had a pressure switch on order they had it shipped overnight to them. Peter Mason came out at 8:00 AM today and in no time he replaced the old pressure switch with the new one and now my unit will turn on. I feel like I need to give an honest review of this service provider because my experience with has been a bit of a saga. What I will say is that they are friendly, they are prompt, and they are ultimately focus on making sure your equipment works no matter what they have to do. As installers go, they are a reliable and safe option. The question you have to ask yourself is whether or not this quality is worth the extra cash you're going to be spending.If you are on a budget, this is not the place for you. I worked in the contracting world long enough to know when people are making money on me that they really shouldn't or don't have to.Happy home installed my system, when it didn't function in fall because the heat was just coming on, they instantly came to repair it free of charge. The repair guy they sent out was professional and worked extremely hard for us, going the extra mile. That being said I'm a little dubious that it should have been messed up in the first place. All in all though, good solid work.If quality matters to you more than price, this is your place. They're going to take care of you. Don't know how you're going to afford a new AC with your car payments being so high? Keep shopping.(Another note: one of the members of this household was rude to them and they handled it professionally. I say this because it was exceptional.)

I had them come out to replace my furnace and coils. The guys that came out were great (Joel and Jose). I recently bought an old house so we had some issues to work around but they were great and helped me figure out some of the quirks of the place. They were also very accommodating with my schedule since I had to run in and out. Overall, very easy to work with them and they did a good job on the install. Nice to have heat again!

Josh was very professional and provided insight as to the possible issue with our heating system. He took the time to properly diagnose the issue and made sure our system was operating properly prior to leaving. With the temperature dropping we were extremely pleased with his attention to the details to make sure we did not have any additional problems.

Whenever our system acts up happy homes is always there same day to fix it. Tonight I had Ivan working on our heat, and he was very hard working and knowledgeable. He was very clear about the issues with my system, the process to fix it and worked relentlessly for hours to get it working. After discovering that parts would have to be ordered to fully fix the problem, he was able to get my system into decent working condition and provided my family with space heaters to help keep us warm in the meantime. He worked late into the evening and was very respectful when it came to the fact my children were asleep while he was working, trying to keep it as quiet as possible. Okay... I admit I'm pretty impressed. I didn't honestly think that all of the reviews were legit but they definitely lived up to that standard.One of my thermostats went bad and after buying a new one, I could not get it to work. Called Happy Home was they had someone out here in less than 2 hours.Alex came and ran into the same issue I did. He checked the entire system, control board and other points and everything checked out. Alex also didn't mind me watching what he was doing or asking questions. After ruling out the rest of the system he wanted to take one more look at the box... and there was the ticket.Turns out the newer Honeywell Thermostats are wired differently in a very minor way. The original wiring had R/Rx jumpered so I duplicated that in the way directions say (Tab down). Moved the tab to up... and system started to work.Alex was professional, knowledgeable and took down notes about his new model thermostat for future reference. The bill was less than I expected for 10pm at night work (~$200). Typically it's $300+.Definitely calling them next time I need work done now that One Call (don't use them) bought Green (were awesome).

We recently had our entire HVAC unit replaced by Happy Home.We got a few estimates and they seemed to be comparable to other highly rated heating and cooling companies. However, I thought they did a better and more thorough job assessing our current system and recommending a replacement that was appropriate for our home.Our new system was installed one full workday and was installed only a few days after we accepted their proposal. All of the technicians that came to our home were very respectful and worked until the job was done. The workers also setup mats throughout our home so they were not walking on our carpet and cleaned up everything when they were completed.We will definitely recommend Happy Home to anyone looking for heating and cooling service.

Thrilled! Resolved the problem I knew I had and solved a problem preventatively that I was going to have. Cool drain kit thoughtfully designed with a clear trap and with a safety valve cutoff - brilliant! No more water running out onto the floor and AC making lots of cold air. Ronnie was very knowledgeable and a good explainer. Definitely will be a repeat customer!

Corey did a great job performing our scheduled maintenance, identifying and repairing a freon leak (showing me a cellphone video of how he found it) and then removing and cleaning the fan from the upstairs unit. I think he went the extra mile in doing this because it was a dirty and time consuming job that he probably could have avoided. He then recommended and installed an airscrubber which seems to have improved the quality of the air. I highly recommend Corey, Happy Home and their maintenance plan.

Dan Hines to the rescue!Happy Home Heating & Cooling saved the day when our a/c unit was out of spec at 6pm on July 3rd. With guests coming in from out of town, we didn't want them sweating it out in our house and were desperate for same day service. Dan responded immediately and agreed to make a technical call at 9pm at night. Dan's professionalism and courtesy was unmatched. He quickly assessed the reason the unit wasn't blowing cold, made the appropriate fixes and recommended a maintenance plan for our older units to keep them functioning at peak performance during the hot NC summer. Without Dan we would have sweated through our shirts all weekend! Cannot thank Dan and Happy Home enough for their service and attentiveness and will definitely use them for all hvac needs.

Extremely happy with all the service and staff. During my semi-annual service Alex found a leak and gave me three options on how to fix/repair or replace. I did not want a band-aid fix so his supervisor Jason came out and we walked through the options - decided after 25 years it was time to replace. They set it up for Monday (original service was Friday). Because I was not available on Saturday, Eric the install supervisor, came out on Sunday to do the final measurements.I spent about 6 hours at home while Alex and Jon installed the new AC and furnace. They were informative throughout and interacted with me as needed. One of them even remembered my old dog from the installation of a second unit 7 years ago.I could not recommend a more professional group from tech to sales to installation.

Everyone price was so high I thought Happy Home Service price was a scam because it was so low. However no scam or hidden fees and he did a wonderful job.

The very helpful services representatives found some defective links in my heating system water supply and recommended replacing those links, to which I agreed. We agreed on an installation date within a few days, and the Happy Home representative appeared on time, announced by both an email and a phone call early in the morning when scheduled. My HVAC system had a complete failure. Called Happy Home, they came out on an emergency notice, very quickly. It was 100+ outside, me and the wife have 2 Huskies and a cat. Mike the technician came out, diagnosed the problem, fairly and accurately. Did not pull the you'll need to replace this and this and this. It was simply a surged breaker, but he did a full diagnostic to make sure once that issue was taken care of, the system was good to go. He also explained to me about the VIP services, and other recommendations to keep my HVAC system running for years to come! Great, honest, reliable company!

I scheduled a regular HVAC maintenance with Happy Home. The guys were thorough with the inspection and uncovered major issues. They gave me several options for fixing the problem from the cheapest to most expensive. I chose to replace the system and it was installed 2 days later. From the technicians to customer service, they always addressed any issues, questions, or concerns and the HVAC is working great.

I was a new member wanting to try this company out to possibly be long-term. However to my surprise I didn’t get to ask the maintenance guy any questions. It’s like the sales guy which is or was the maintenance guys supervisor swooped in to sell me a new unit and to sale me all these different items. So I was very disappointed.

The technician’s were wonderful and very knowledgeable. We were disappointed that they didn’t have everything they needed to complete the job at the time of the initial installation. They didn’t indicate this would be an issue prior to signing the contract. We did have heat though. They did come back to install the house filter and some of the duct work when it became available after we followed up with a call. We were surprised that a sales contact demanded the balance of our payment before the work was completed. This should come from the office. After we called the office about this they were very apologetic. Overall this is a really good company and we were pleased with the service.

I had the pleasure Juan Lopez repairing my outdoor faucet. It had been leaking for months and another plumber tried to fix it, but failed. Juan came in and new exactly what the problem was. He gave me three options and immediately began working. It only took him an hour to get it done and it now works perfectly. On top of all that, he was very personable and friendly. I enjoyed talking to him. I will be using him again in the future.

Just met with Alex, service technician, and he was great. He found the problem after going over the complete system which impressed me. He didn't try to cut any corners nor did he try and talk the big deal talk that so many try to do to make you think that they are some kind of gift to the HVAC world. Alex explained everything to me and why this did this and that and it made common sense. He was also very courteous which is something that you don't see much of anymore.He's a valuable intelligent team player for this company in my opinion and he certainly knows what he's doing. Ask for him to do your repair or service. You'll be glad you did.I was a contractor for 35 years before retiring due to health reasons. I would have given this young man a job in a minute. Put him in business in HVAC if that's what he wanted. I recommended Comfort Air for years to my customers and this is the 2nd system we have purchased in 16 years. People like Alex are the reason we stay with these guys.

poor customer sevice when I called to ask question. I was yelled at by one of the people working there and when I asked to speak to the owner when he got in the next day they gave my message to someone who isn't the owner. After the phone call with the owner we were tpld by the owner they will not give us a itemized list. they refused to give us one.

I called Happy Home Services about leaking faucet in our shower. It took two days for someone to be able to come to the house. He never touched the faucet, only took a picture. He said because it was a three-valve faucet it was not likely that the problem could be corrected. He said this set up is no longer used because they are out of date. I wish I had been told that two days ago. I wish I knew when a service person came to the house, it wasn’t for them to fix the problem, only for him to look at it and schedule another appointment. I suggested that these kinds of questions be part of the initial call that is made to the company asking for service. It would have saved us a lot of time, water, and money. $75 dollars later, we know to buy and install a different style faucet system. If this review helps others it will make the $75 feel like it went to doing some good for others.

I LOVE this group! So our home has two hvac units...Winter of 2022 both of our hvac units officially died on us. (Very disappointing and highly stressful.) We reached out to Happy Home and they (specifically Damon, thank you so much!) worked with us for over a month to figure out our options, sharing their knowledge on different units and educating us on what we could expect moving forward with each option.Let me just say, their compassion and commitment go above and beyond, they really are a fantastic group of people to work with. This group knows how to connect with people and treat them as such. I never felt pressure to choose a specific service either. They took great care of our home while working diligently through the wet and cold December days.Also, please ask them questions as they come up, they are incredibly patient and took the time to make sure I fully understood everything I had questions or concerns about.Oh and they were able to come out during the holiday season (that's a big deal for me) and get our install complete. Such kind hearts and incredibly friendly people. We will always call them first for assistance and so should you!

Allen and Leighton installed two replacement heating/cooling systems at our home in a single day! They were professional, polite, hard-working,and really knew their business. I especially appreciated the time Allen spent with us explaining the new digital controls.

Technician Alex Romero came to do my spring AC maintenance. He was very polite and respectful. Sadly my AC is entering old age and he showed me and explained what was going on. He looked up the costs of the 2 failing parts and we thought about my options. In the end, we decided to replace just the capacitor and take our chances with the motor--having decided I'd do better to not spend the money now but just know the end is coming and the whole unit would need to be replaced. I thought he did this very thoughtfully and in my best interests. It was bad news, but I felt in good hands with this company. Of course they used to be Comfort Engineers, with whom I had been doing business for many years and had good feelings about all the technicians who had come to my house. I also appreciate that Alex lifted out my boxes of yard ceramics that were tucked away for the winter down in the crawlspace.

Pretty sure I’ve posted a review on these guys before but I continue to be very satisfied. Today Corey came out and was very transparent about what was going on with my system, even showing me some things I could do / check myself, got to my house like 5 hours after I called. 3 years ago Alex was a field tech who had serviced my house and basically told me “I can do XYZ and it’s gonna last you another 3ish years and then it’s probably gonna be time for a new unit (my stuff is 20 years old) and he was almost dead on - today he was the supervisor who came to deliver the bad news that I was probably better off with a new unit.They are pretty pricy and shopping around and being patient will save you some money, but when it’s 96 degrees sometimes you just can afford the convenience of nearly immediate service.

First time ever used them....came out the same day I called and was fixed the next day. Alex answered all my questions and obviously cared about doing the best job possible.

Moved maintenance contract to Happy Home and so Happy we did! Gabriel Rauda-Estrada was prompt, courteous and saw to every detail of our Lennox heat pump to prepare us for winter. Our system is just off maintenance from the company we purchased the unit from and I change the filters and clean the coils regularly. Gabriel took off all the panels on the coil (which I have never had another tech do before) and cleaned the coils by hand. I was shocked, and a little embarrassed at how dirty they were. With dogs, I couldn't reach a lot of the hair that built up behind the screening and trapped trash. Without Gabriel's attention to detail, our system would be working a lot harder than necessary and lot less efficient. If you need maintenance or service and don't know who to call... call Happy Home and ask for Gabriel :)Another update 10/26/2020We had on and off problems with our drain line and SS2 sensor which started with another company's install. Many technicians from another company worked and worked to correct the issue. When we were down again because of our drain line I asked Happy Home to send their best technician. They sent Alexander Vazquez and we are so grateful! He worked for hours in our cramped crawlspace and rebalanced our system (it was not hung level), swapped out our drain line and the line to the switch, installed a new switch, and cleaned the pan, the lines, everything - and I am not just talking flush... He cleaned them! with a shop vac and elbow grease. With all his hard work, our switch is not filling up and our house is staying cool. I was not paid for these reviews and don't work for the company. They are completed with honest thanks for good work and the hope that another consumer can benefit from the reviews.

Gabriel was very helpful, explained the problem and possible sources of it, and was professional and friendly. He did leave the filter out when he left, but that might be because we are due to change it and discussed which replacement to use (it's only 2 months old, but we have pets). Great experience, would call again.

These guys are absolute scam. first, they said that they have to change few parts of our unit and charged us a huge amount to replace a rusted part and fill coolant. later told us we need replace the entire AC unit. when we refused to take that option, then told us AC exterior unit fan is not working and need to replace the whole unit. At this point I started doubting and told them to finish their original job and leave. same day I brought another mechanic and found, 1) these people switched off the fan and told us its broken and there was no problem at all with the unit 2) they did not fill any freon in first place but charged us around $300 for that 3) they did not change the any rusted parts except some contact at the exterior unit and still charged us close to $700. I'm glad I called professional contractor for 2nd opinion else I would have lost additional $5000-$6000 for changing while the existing unit is really good and working well. I called Sears service team after few days to double check if any issues or anything to be changed. Sears team confirmed the same as the unit is good. I would advise people to be cautious with these kind of scam people and be there when the pretended repair is being done.

However he kept pushing me to make a decision and let them work on the unit, etc. I was also disappointed that your company does not offer a payment plant for anything other than total unit replacement. I went with another company who did a complete inspection and offered a payment plan for similar services: including replacement of parts and maintenance. AUGUST 2022 I HAD 9 GALLONS OF WATER IN MY FLOOR VENT because they didn't blow out the outside drain pipe. Pipe was not blown out. I was paying for many years 17.00 monthly for them to service my cooling and air. It cost me a new kitchen floor. No compensation. I canceled My contract and now with the company I called to fix it.

Scott came out to discuss our options for replacing the heat exchanger (it had a crack). We discussed that and the fact that we already knew that the coils were rusting in the AC and that we had old refrigerant...so that lead to a discussion of options for system replacement. After weighing the pros and cons, we decided to go for it and chose the 2nd option, not the basic system and not the cadillac.Allen and Mike (and Eric) did a fantastic job!! They were nice, answered all of my questions, they were professional and they worked in very tight spaces - not just the mech room and crawl space, but I have a lot of junk in the basement which they skillfully maneuvered through with the dolly (nothing broken)!I know there were a few other guys that came to help and I didn't catch their names. Juan did a great job cleaning my kitchen sink drain clog. He called to let me know when he would arrive and also showed me a leak under the house from my shower pan that needs to be addressed.

We called Happy Home Heating because we weren’t getting any A/C in the upstairs of our home. They came out on the weekend and found the problem and quickly resolved it for us. My husband mentioned that we would be calling to have our main unit serviced and the technician offered to service it while he was there. He found three cracks in the system which might allow carbon monoxide into our home and shut the unit down to protect us and made arrangements to have a new system installed within two days. The unit was 19 years old so we were not surprised that it had outlived it usefulness. The tech that came out on the weekend, the manager who came out to confirm that our unit definitely needed to be replaced and the crew who replaced the unit were polite, worked quickly and neatly and we could not have been happier with the service we received. We have since given the Happy Home Heating company name to many people and can’t say enough good things about them or recommend them too highly. From now on they will be the only company to take care of our heating and cooling needs.

We had an emergency HVAC situation which included excessive water flooding our first floor at 6 PM in the evening. Corey Woodward, the Service Technician, arrived about 8 PM and stayed until 10PM, preventing thousands of dollars in damages. Corey had already put in a 12 hour day prior to arriving at our home. When he left he was heading to another call. That's dedication!I have been in this type of business for over forty years and have never seen an employee as professional, knowledgeable, thorough and kind. Corey has incredible inter-personal skills, provided all of the service options, without pressuring us. Most importantly, Corey solved the problem quickly and affordably. After coming home to our air conditioner not working I immediately called this company. To my surprise they were able to come out the next day. Both gentlemen who came out were very curtious. We ended up purchasing a new system. The original date of installation was a week and a half away. Before they left we were informed that they were able to bump it up from Monday to the next Thursday. We were also given a temp air conditioner.Today two more very nice gentlemen arrived to install the hvac system. They were here the majority of the day installing the system, working on the air ducts, replacing our thermostat, and installing a carbon monoxide alarm.We are very happy with their services and will be calling on them for our yearly inspection.

It appears that HHS changed the unit from Trane to Amana without mentioning it to me. They also said that the Seer was 15 which was a downgrade from the Trane unit. This was also not brought to my attention.

Our technician David was cordial, knowledgeable and efficient. This made our first routine maintenance a pleasant experience.

Haven’t used the company. My review is based solely on the fact that one of their drivers was parked in the Sheetz parking lot blocking the air pump. He was just sitting in the car smoking taking up the space for people to put air in their tires. Just all around inconsiderate. Pick a different parking spot.

BEWARE CROOKS, please read and do not use them...This company was called by my elder parents to give them an estimate for their 11 year old Trane unit that had stopped working within the last 3 weeks. Happy Home looked at the unit, advised that they needed to replace the gas valve, capacitor, inducer assembly, hard start kit and outdoor fan, that was bad and a $4000 fix. They tried to upsell my parents a unit and kept referring to the unit as having a great warranty of 10yrs (Which they all do, even the cheap once). They priced them a top of the line unit but were trying to sell them the base model unit for $14,000 yes $14000. 1400 sq ft rancher home, simple remove replace a 2 ton dual fuel unit. No duct work no nothing else. I tried talking with the service/ sale guy John Ross who gave me the same story and talked in circles. When confronted on pricing and when I told him I had 2 other companies price it between $6 to $8000, He had nothing else to say. I asked how he could try and take advantage of an elderly couple like my parents. Shame on them. And they STILL charged my parents an $80 service fee for advising them the wrong information just to try and scare them to get an upsale.End of Story, New Tech come out who replaced the capacitor $24 part and total Bill $100 for his time of 20 minutes. Remember it was an estimate of $4000 to fix...We will be replacing the unit in the near future but with a different company.BEWARE

We used Happy Home services to diagnose and replace our downstairs AC unit. We were amazed at the speed in which they were able to respond. The first tech was out the next day and our new unit was installed 5 days later. During instal, a small mistake was made that made our upstairs until inoperable. We made the call at around 8pm and they had someone at our house that night at 9:30 to investigate. He got it fixed and everything worked out great. Every person we interacted with was the pinnacle of professional and very kind. We will be going with this company moving forward

The evaporator of my HVAC air handler was producing a small amount of external condensate which dripped down into the return air chamber. I called Happy Home for repair services and the scheduled an appointment for the next day. The technician arrived within the scheduled time frame, identified and repaired the problem in a timely manner. Prior to initiating the repair, he explained what the problem was and the how repair would be done.Although this was the first time I used Happy Home services; I was very pleased and will continue to employ them for future maintenance and repairs.

The technician from Happy Home did the most thorough maintenance check on my system that I've ever had. He checked the unit outside, the air handler unit inside and tested the temperature settings using remote thermometers in several vents. He was very professional in his communication before arriving and also while explaining the various components of the equipment as I had mentioned that I was curious to learn about them. He was also very patient and conscientious of my dog who gets a bit worked up when strangers enter the home. Great service all around!

I purchased 2 new heating and 2 new a/c from them and they sorted out the disaster that was attic duct work. Anytime they have come to do standard maintenance or an emergency maintenance call due to a storm knocking out an a/c unit they have been very knowledgeable, professional, punctual and great with communication! called the HVAC company that had convinced me to sign the 1 year service plan because it was the same price this fall. Guy came and checked my furnace and when I came to meet him half way across the yard he said I still have to check the AC. I went back to working. He came back got me to turn on the ac. It checked out. He went to write it up. I was doing my stuff around and walked past looking for him. He said both were good he was writing it up. I asked him if everything checked out okay with the heat. He said yea. I dramatically went back inside and turned it on to no avail. I came back and asked him if he was sure, he said yea, but he would check it again. Amazing it ends up in that short span it stopped working. When he identified the problem he came to show me. It's the same part that went bad before this season, so it's covered. I asked him on the way out, so when I asked you the first time if the furnace was fine, why did you say it was? he paused and said well when I got the call they didn't say anything about the furnace so I checked the pressures on the A/C and it was good

We have used Happy Home services for a couple of years now. Initially to check and clean our HVAC ducts. Since then we have kept up with their maintenance plan to keep our HVAC system running good. We moved into our house in 2017 and had a new system installed that year by another company. So far our only issue has been that we did not receive a call for our spring maintenance service... However a capacitor went on our A/C unit quite recently and they were very responsive with service. When we asked about our maintenance service which was due, they were able to handle that the same day. Overall, very good local company for the Durham area. Would highly recommend.

I have used them for years but recently, during the course of a routine PM visit, they told me my system had a gas leak and needed $1500 of repairs. I got a second opinion from another qualified technician who could not find a gas leak. I'm disgusted...

COREY DEFIED THE IMPOSSIBLE!!! We just moved into our new home in Durham and wanted to install smart home equipment including two Nest thermostats. We had a nest technician come out because we had no idea what we were doing. He quickly looked at our current thermostats and told us it was impossible and the Nest thermostats were not compatible with our home! I was devastated! That's when I reached out to Happy Home before returning my Nest products. I wouldn't take no for an answer! Happy Home scheduled a technician out in less than 24 hours and that's when Corey arrived! The heat stopped working in the middle of the night in February. I called Happy Home Services in the morning and our technician Peter Mason called me within a short time to discuss the problem. He was able to arrive 1 hour earlier than the time he originally gave me. He was pleasant and professional throughout the visit (even though it was a cold, rainy day) and had the problem solved in less than 30 minutes. I am a regular customer and this service call shows why I will continue to use Happy Home Services.

The technician came out to diagnose a broken furnace. The part that he said needed changed was going to cost ~$350 to install. Second recommend part would cost 180 to install. I declined and bought them from the local store for 12.50 and 2.23. However, he didn't properly diagnose it and the old one was good and the new one didn't fix it. I called him to see what he would recommend checking next - he said that they would have to charge an additional $80 trip charge to give me that answer. Eventually fixed it myself, but have no confidence in their diagnostics. Two stars for promptness.

Problem was identified and solved. No hassle. Technician had been here before and new our systems. Knowledgeable and courteous as always

Our heat was blowing out cold air. So we called Happy Home and they were able to come out the same day. Alex Romero was the technician that came to our house. He was able to find the problem immediately. We have a pretty old unit and it had a gas leak. He turned off the gas to the unit and upon further digging saw that our A/C coils were rusted. He had his supervisor, Mr. Damon Nance come take a look and they presented 4 different options for us. I really appreciated the professionalism and attentiveness that these two gentleman showed. The customer service was definitely an A+.

My 20+ year HVAC unit finally stopped working. Happy Home was quick to come run a diagnostic and then present all the options for a new HVAC unit. Alex was super professional and presented various options and I did not feel pressured to pick an option on the spot. After deciding to go with one of the units, they were quick to come install the new HVAC unit. They said they would start at 9AM and estimated to finish by 5pm, and they did! Was super impressed with Nick and his team that they were able to put in a new unit within a day. Overall, a great experience working with Happy Home, especially Alex and Nick!

I had an issue with my evaporator coil and Happy Home was very quick to figure out the issue and give reasonable options even over the Christmas break time frame. They were very pleasant to work with text/email updates of arrival times, wearing shoe smocks to not dirty up anything and just being friendly and professional. In my opinion I was extremely pleased with Alex Romero and Greg Scoggins and their work.My only issue I will say was that I was promised a refund for the inspection cost upon installation of a new unit which I did receive but only after a couple calls.

Justin from Happy Home services arrived on time and was very courteous, professional and skilled. He quickly saw that a new faucet was likely needed to completely correct our recurring clogged drain and waited until I could purchase a new faucet and return to my home for him to install it. I’d heard great things about Happy Home from a family member who needed A/C repair. So I contacted them when I had leak under bathroom sink. HH sent out a plumber the same day as I called. I can’t say enough positive things about the plumber- William Nolan-who quickly discovered that the 70 year-old pipes in wall were in dire need of replacing. He carefully explained my options and timeframes and costs for replacements and repairs. He was very helpful as I needed to purchase new vanity that had been ruined by leak. I’m grateful to him and Juan Lopez who finished the project within timeframe promised. I’m a more than satisfied customer because of William’s (and main office) responsive and proactive communication, outstanding customer service, and quality work!

I have the yearly maintenance plan and have yet to have an issue. Today it just didn't seem like my AC was cooling so I called to have them come look at it. They were amazing to work with. After the poor communication with 3 other companies (they will remain nameless). I just want to say, they have the most accurate best service that you can ask for. I never expected such great professionalism. Ray is absolutely great. I had an appointment with a 4 hr window but asked if they would come after a specific time. They were able to come when i asked, and were in communication the entire time. When he arrived he diagnosed and corrected the problem quickly. My only suggestion is Happy Home , because of them I have a very happy home. They have an offer to come to your home twice a year foe a check up. Please, Please pay it and ask for Ray.

Service Technician Josh Jordan was great. My AC went out late on Saturday night. I called and scheduled an emergency appointment for Sunday. Josh called at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday and the AC had restarted. Josh recommended I schedule a regular appointment since AC was working but told me to call back if it stopped again. At 3:30 p.m. it was out again, I called back. Josh arrived around 8:00 p.m. and despite his long, hot day he was friendly and polite. Went right to work and found a clogged drain that he cleared. He explained everything. I have never regretted switching from ARS to Happy Home.

After calling the company I have a contract with and being scheduled for their emergency service 4 days away, I called this company. They had the technician on the phone with me within minutes. He arrived at my house within an hour. He quickly assessed the problem and fixed it! Then reviewed why it happened and what I could to prevent it from happening again. A company that keeps great technicians must be a great company!

So far I am very pleased with my new system. The installation was quicker than I expected. They worked all the time they where here. They cleaned up and left everything in good working order. As I said so excellent.

We've had a relationship with this company for over 15 years. Although the name has changed (from Comfort Engineers to Happy Home), the quality of service remains excellent. Due to multiple allergies, we have a complex HVAC system, installed and maintained by Happy Home. Our tech today, Alex R., was thorough, knowledgeable and professional in servicing the multiple parts of our equipment. Although we're not crazy about the new name, we'll continue to rely on Happy Home for future service and highly recommend them.

I have used Happy Home for all services listed above for many years. I have all of their utilities from water heater to HAVC in my home plus their yearly Service charges. Today was my 1st bad experience with Happy Home. After waiting all morning for my repair person to show up. After receiving a text message to confirm my appointment the day before and after receiving a text message to say they are in route the day of appointment, I missed their call because I was outside without working in my front yard watching for them and didn't have my phone they cancelled my appointment because I didn't call. back in 20 minutes. Is there any reason I need to be held responsible for other people that are not accountable for their actions. They could have easily checked my account to see I was always available for my appointment. This is totally unfair and uncalled for. Please do not reply with a unnecessary excuse because there is no excuse. And apology is not acceptable this is just poor Service.

Jayson, Joel and Eric replaced our old split system central heating and air conditioning system with a new system with improved technology and features. They worked hard to get the system installed and tested within a short period of time. They were courteous, professional and took the time to explain what they were doing and how the new system works. We are very pleased with the overall experience. Their supervisor, John, also took the time to explain the system to us in detail and provided a temporary portable air conditioning unit while the old system was being replaced.

I purchased a maintenance service for both heating and AC in June. They performed the one for the AC but they keep in canceling my appointment for the furnaces. They just canceled on me again and they claim they can’t reschedule it till December. Be aware, once you pay, they don’t care. They got your money.

We tried Happy Home at the suggestion of a friend. We couldn’t be happier with our experience. The office staff was courteous on the phone, and scheduled our AC repair for the following day. She called later to offer us an even earlier time slot, which was much appreciated. Mike Pernell arrived promptly (even a little early), and was quick to assess the problem and get to work fixing it. Our AC was working within the hour, praise God. We signed up for their yearly maintenance (a little cheaper than the other company we tried), and that saved us an additional 10%. Simon was outstanding in his diagnosis of our problem. My only concern was in the pricing we were charged as a preferred customer. 1- 60A double pole fuse installed in 10 minutes was $286.

I have used Happy Home in the past, but no more. I asked them to come out to follow-up on a repair job where they had failed to insulate a pipe, causing ceiling damage in my laundry room. The technician came out, did nothing, and demanded an $85 service charge. I objected, but was told that the charge would not be waived.I am going to find a more reasonable local source for HVAC service.

Less than twenty four hours after my new AC unit was installed, it stopped working. This was due to an installation error and was fixed in less than 24 hours. Approximately two weeks later my AC shut off and restarted several hours later on three separate occasions over three days. This was due to another installation error.

Grade A quality service and professionalism!! They were very honest and cost effective and offer a great yearly plan to keep my HVAC needs met, I will be using them going forward and highly recommend them.

Our AC went out and the unit had to be replaced. Since we were completely without AC, they prioritized our new system installation and installed a new unit the next day. Our house is old and presented them with some challenges during the install, but the technicians were professional, thorough, and did not leave until the job was done and done right. I had my entire HVAC systrm replaced; ductwork was fine. I had 4 very nice & professional Happy Home staff working on my home during must if the work day. They were great!! I had to leave my house for a needed appointment ... and felt most comfortable leaving my home in good hands. They worked hard; were in good spirits & seemed to enjoy working together as well as very knowledgeable. I am pleased that I had Hapoy Home take care of my home!!! 😊

Mike was great! Professional, prompt, courteous and knowledgeable. He had been to my home once before when I requested a maintenance call. I would highly recommend HH services without hesitation. Even the receptionist followed up as promised when an earlier appointment became available.

The tech was very polite and on time. The prices are pretty high and I have a hard time trusting companies so since my AC stopped working as soon as the man left I found that strange. A lot of up selling going on. I just want a company that comes out and focuses on the problem at hand and has a reasonable price.

Peter Mason did an excellent job analyzing the problem, identifying the solution, and installing the replacement parts. He explained things clearly and answered all my questions satisfactorily. Follow up has so far been excellent. I'm optimistic that the problem (leaking refrigerant) has been solved, but time will tell.

Allen and his crew showed up at scheduled time to install new Heat Pump/Blower. First the put coverings on floor to protect from scratches. They worked quickly and new unit was installed in attic and outside just after lunch. Cleaned everything up, went over new unit with me. I was very impressed. Did some extras without asking like more support for upstairs unit, improved air intake, extra safety off switch etc. was very pleased. Have used this company for years and they are great.

I called today to see if someone could be by asap due to a water stain on the ceiling that may have been HVAC-related. Happy Home Services was able to send someone in the afternoon. Simon Lee called with a heads up before arriving and he was very professional and friendly and clear about the water stain issue (not the HVAC -- I have to call a roofer -- sigh) and then did the maintenance work (an aspect I really like about this company -- payment for a maintenance plan 2x/year) in a way that seemed to me to be thorough and not rushed. In the COVID-19 context, he arrived with a mask which he kept on during all our interactions, which I appreciated (I had a mask on, too). Overall, we've been consistently pleased with Happy Home Services in terms of the work and the customer service -- highly recommended!

Happy Home was able to install my new AC within 24 hours of my initial call. I am very impressed with their turn around and how they could fit me into their schedule so that I could have AC for my parents visit.

I was very impressed with how the Happy Home staff went out of their way to ensure I got a great customer experience. When they realized later that they had overcharged me for a service they rendered (I was clueless that it happened), they called to apologize and returned the overcharge amount. The service technician, Mike, stood in the sweltering heat for several hours to repair my HVAC. He explained carefully what he was going to do. I hadn’t experienced such great customer service from a home repair service provider before. I fully recommend Happy Home for anyone that wants to have their home problems fixed by a qualified service professional who is diligent, honest and affordable.

Last year HH replaced my a/c with a duel fuel heat pump/a/c unit. This month it wasn't cooling. Called HH and they came out right away. Turns out it was my Duke Power limiter on the house that denied the unit power.... Josh, the service tech was polite, knowledgeable, efficient and let me know along each step of the way what was going on. He was able to patch a capacitor in to the unit, test it, & override the problem. He encouraged me to call if any other problems evolve. No charge. Warranty covered.

Although there was a little miscommunication at first, the representatives and technician were very professional. I leave this review to let people know that things happen even when there's great customer service. Brittany, Jackie and Alex were all great. They were able to schedule to service the tenant's HVAC the same day the request was made. I would use them again.

Daniel Hines was my technician and couldn't have been more professional about his work. He was very thoughtful in explaining everything to me and laid out his course of action upon his arrival. When we ran into an unexpected issue he called his supervisor out for a second opinion which I thought was responsible. I would recommend Happy Home to others!

On Friday our heat pump stopped working so I called and set up an appointment for Tuesday. The repairman came out and diagnosed the problem and called in his supervisor as the whole system needed major repair or replacing. I was given 3 options which was the first time any company has ever done that. Damon explained everything and we decided replacement was the best option. Because warmer weather was predicted, he left us with a portable air conditioner so we could be comfortable. On Saturday, our new heat pump was delivered and installed. It couldn't have been easier or less stressful. Leighton, Joel, and Eric were wonderful. I would give them 4 1/2 stars if I could. After they were finished they asked if I had any questions, showed me the new programable thermostat and then left. I would have liked them to show me more and explain more about the outside unit and the inside unit. I am amazed at how quickly the house now heats up or cools down. Great experience.

Technician Eric is extremely professional in his dealings with me and his work is excellent. This visit he installed a replacement heater and in a previous visit he installed a replacement air conditioner and humidifier. I always carefully check new equipment and installations of any sort and I found his work to be as thorough and neat as possible.

Oh that's things have changed. I had to have them come nearly four times. They blew out my old thermostat and improperly installed a booster on my unit. I had to switch to a different HVAC contractor because I got tired of them coming out so many times and messing things up.

I was very happy with Mike, who came out to check the HVAC portion of my agreement with happy home. I’ve had many maintenance services, and this was the most professional and courteous and thorough that I have had and for the money I can’t wait to get the plumber out to do his maintenance and check on my home, but my expectation is if it’s as good as the HVAC one was, I will be very pleased and will be going back next year as well

We couldn’t find the source that had been intermittent, one day the foul odor and the next few days nothing; then repeat. Ricky Brown found the source and eliminated it. We are now odorless. He diagnosed the issue and proceeded to repair it. Very professional, knowledgeable, and pleasant to work with. I am very satisfied with Happy Home Service. He is a terrific plumber!

From the moment I called, and received a live voice, my experience was exceptional. There was a tech at my home within 30 minutes, over the weekend, who was supremely professional, friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. My heat pump decided to stop working during an icy day when roads were still bad, on a holiday no less, so I was sure that service would be impossible. In fact, the tech got here two hours after I called, found the problem fast, had the part on hand to fix it, and got my heat back on within an hour and a half after arriving. Tech was professional, efficient, and communicative. It was not an inexpensive repair, but the service was worth it.

Alex came out to look at our account unit late Thursday night and even returned the next morning to confirm his suspected diagnosis. He was very professional and thorough.

I called and spoke to Brittany and I explained to her what my issue was and if they would be able to fix it. She assured me that I contacted the right company just for me to wait around all day, pay $80 and for them to tell me to contact a different trade and then gave me a number of a chiropractor...hmm. The people were really nice but I feel like I was deceived into paying for something that they know they were unable to provide.

Happy Home Heating and Cooling in Durham NC provided great service. When we phoned the company to ask about service and report that our old HVAC unit had just broken, they sent an engineer, Ed, that morning to consult with us. He was very knowledgeable and helpful in explaining a range of options, from repairing our old unit to presenting a selection of new units. We selected a new unit and the next morning, Allen Vermilya, Install Mechanic, arrived to do the work. Allen and his two install assistants, Manny and Ivan, did a tremendous job installing the equipment. They were excellent technicians, polite and hardworking; just what you want in the summer in North Carolina and your AC has broken. I highly recommend Happy Home Heating and Cooling.
