I love updating and remodeling but dread dealing with contractors. Did my research, compared 4 different companies, read a ton of reviews, and despite concerns of too good to be true (Great first impression when coming out to give an estimate, straightforward pricing, and raving 5star reviews), I scheduled to have 4 rooms refitted with updated recessed (no more outdated eyeball lights)
The rooms included varying ceiling heights:
Installing 28 recessed lights, including changing out existing lights, covering and patching, moving some for better layout, and placing a light in the shower

Electricians installed dimmers, adding switches to control separate areas
The entire crew was very professional and respectful, as they clearly understood the difference between working in someone's home and a construction site.
They are genuinely a team as they work together to make decisions. Communication was outstanding as they ensured we were clear on what we wanted and understood the options. Very clean, covered, and protected furniture, floors, and wall where necessary. Worked thoroughly, quickly, and very detailed.
It was a pleasant experience, and I would definitely recommend using this company again.

I reached out after seeing the good reviews here and am glad I did. I felt the job was fairly small but they still treated me as an important customer that mattered. They were able to come out and fix the light over our fireplace with no issues at all getting it done the same day they came to check and bid the work. They had everything they needed to get it done fast and right. Their prices are fair and they electrician was really nice and had a very kind demeanor. I fried a wire using two electric heaters in the same room of our old house. I initially thought maybe I had just thrown a breaker but when I went to reset it on the box, no good. When I called Edison Electricians of Charlotte and told them what happened and how they knew exactly what it was and had someone out for our safety. The electrician was so kind and respectful of our home. He was able to fix it up and get us safe and operational and recommended upgrading some of the wiring so no more issues arise. That work is scheduled and I'm looking forward to having the wiring of the whole house upgraded so we can feel completely safe knowing the old wiring is gone and newer more reliable and safe wiring has been installed.

Edison Electricians of Charlotte came out and did quite a few things for us in one go and did excellent work. They were able to install the newest LED style lighting in our newly built workshop and made it look easy on our 14ft ceilings. They also installed all of the inside and outside outlets and switches, outdoor motion activated lighting, and the breaker box. Obviously all of the wiring for all of this as well. It was all done to our personal specs for maximum ease of use and load requirements for the workshop to run well without any electrical issues once the equipment was installed. Couldn't be happier with the final results. They do clean and efficient work and I'm pretty nitpicky. Great company and great people.

Edison was excellent to work with during our electrical rewire. They were very prompt in their response time and were very efficient in completing the job during the time frame requested. I was very pleased with the LED lights added to our kitchen and the cost of the services provided. I would definitely recommend their electrical services to anyone who is looking for quality electrical work at a reasonable price in the area.

Thank you to the hard working group of folks at Edison Electricians for the services provided to get a faulty fan replaced with a great new model recently. They were kind, quick to get us scheduled, and very personable when they arrived to complete the job. Very nice working with them.

I appreciate the service that Mike provided me. I don't know if other electricians do the same way, but before coming to my house, he called ahead of time to let me know they were 30 minutes out and they were right on time. My issues were fixed in a very timely manner, and the prices were reasonable.

We hired these fantastic electricians for our outlets and junction box for the garden. They've completed the job on time, professionally, and amazingly wonderfully. I will hire them again for other electrical work.

The electrician who came to our house was fast and professional. He installed a ceiling fan on my patio and split the electrical line so it could turn my lights on separately.
