Double R LLC is a family owned and operated water well service company, serving Northern Nevada. We named our company Double R because my wife, Michon, and I share the last name Reede. However, at the very beginning of this company we realized we had a Double R Promise we were making to clients. We promise to be responsive and we promise to be reliable. As well owners ourselves, we know what it’s like to be left hanging when your faucet is spilling brown water. That’s no fun. When I left my career in geothermal drilling and pump design and started Double R LLC along with Michon, we wanted things to be different. We wanted clients to feel really taken care of and confident in the work they’d hired us to complete.

Double R sent someone out 2 hours after we called and kept us informed on arrival time. The service person quickly diagnosed the 2 possible problems and explained how he would check to see if the pump (instead of a leak somewhere) was the problem. He did the check, the pump was the issue, and someone else from his company delivered the pump he needed. They gave us the option of also replacing the galvanized pipes with PVC since the ones we had were very rusty. We replaced the pump and the pipes. They cleaned up, hauled away the rusty pipes, and said to call if the slight drip from the pressure valve did not stop.
Call this company if you have problems with your well!

I needed a small part replaced on my pressure tank. I had heard about this company and after working with them, I would highly recommend. They got me scheduled in very quickly, they were punctual with the arrival time, and got the part changed in a jiffy. It was very professional and the prices were good.

We noticed our water pressure was extremely low Friday night on a holiday weekend (of course.) Several of my friends in the area recommended Double R for emergency call out. I called first thing this morning. We spoke to Chris who was extremely kind and responsive. He mentioned he would have someone out in a few hours. There was never any question on the price or the services. Chris somewhat diagnosed our issue over the phone and mentioned he would send the right person for the job who had previous experience with the issue. Garret was at our house within the hour. He was able to isolate the issue very quickly and fix it. He also went above and beyond and fixed our safe switch box that was previously bypassed by the previous owners. He recommended a full house water system that would work best for our home we’ve been looking at buying anyway. Double R was super helpful and quick to respond to the emergency on a Saturday morning. Oh, and they charged us $100 less than the original quote. Great company will use again. Thanks Chris and Garret!
Garrett was punctual and personable. He found a few issues that needed to be addressed and took care of the immediately, being that he had the parts on his service truck. Garret also seemed happy to answer any questions I had about the system. We'll be happy to use Double R in the future!

I was very pleased with this company. We had lost power to our pump house. I called them in the evening, they set me up the next day. A young man named Jordan came out.. very professional! And a very nice young man. He did an excellent job, knew what he was doing and got our water running! Thank you guys for saving us!

Double R came and repaired a well problem within 6 hours of my call. Problem was a rusted pressure tank which required a replacement tank; not easy as I'm in a remote location. Not only did they get the tank to me, they worked with me on my personal availability. I'll be back when needed.

Great service, very efficient and took care to provide a very professional evaluation of an older well. Made needed upgrades immediately and restored water in a couple of hours. Highly recommended!
I called Chris around noon on a Friday with well issues and by 2pm his crew was here. David and Jordan were fantastic and had me up and running in a matter of hours with a new pump. I will be calling these folks for everything well related going forward.

These folks could be great, I would not know. So Google is a now asking us to rate our experiences visiting websites???? It's not enough that Google follows our every step? Hey Google you've gone a little too far.
A professional response. Not the cheapest, but do you really want the cheapest service organization? Courteous and professional workers came on site and pulled a defective water pump from the well. Replaced the pump with the installation of new. From arrival to finish was only 5 hours. I think that is a very reasonable time for the amount of work that was performed. Highly recommended.
Our well pump went out leaving us out of water. We called Double R and they responded within a week to our ranch which is far off the grid. They did a great job with the new install and repair. We are very happy with their work. Thank you Chris!

This company and technician Castor, was GREAT! They came recommended by my neighbor and I would recommend them to anyone. My husband was out of town and I woke up to no water. They were super responsive, prompt, kind, and professional. Within 3 hours and a couple of repairs I had water again. Truly, I can’t say enough good things about my experience.

Called after hours with no water. They answered anyway. Turns out my 30 year old pump went out. The owner came out after hours and worked till 130 in the morning to make sure I had water. Will hands down recommend this place to anyone. And came in under the estimated cost by $1000. Great guy and he walked me through every thing.

I had a leak on my well, wasn't an emergency but Chris still quickly got me on the schedule and came out to fix my issue. Turns out that the leak must have been going on longer than I though by the number of roots they had to work through but Double R is nothing but professional!! I am very happy with their work and felt their fee was honest and fair.
It'd be nice if I never had well issues again but if I do, Chris at Double R is my first call, I trust him to take care of me and you should too!

We had an electrical problem between our subdrive and well pump. Chris responded quickly, was professional, identified the problem, and came back with supplies to get water supply back to our house the same day. I cannot recommend Double R highly enough. I will definitely use their services again and recommend them to anyone who needs well service.

Gave us 3 estimate options for replacement of a pressure tank without having to come to our house. Was on time and finnished on time even after having to drive an hour back to Reno and an hour back to our house. Did a great job without us having to be there. Highly recommend Double R over any other well well service.

Double R is rated high in my book! I found out I had no water to my home on a Friday evening. I googled a few places to find Double R was the only one to offer services at that time. I called him, he was easy to talk to, and was out on my property within 2 hours. He made some electrical repairs and returned water service. He told me my pump was getting week after a few tests made. I told him I would gauge it the next few days and get back to him. Two days later I really needed that pump as he said i would. He came back out, had me up and running and gave me a fair honest price and explained everything in great detail. I appreciated how professional and knowledgeable they were. I was extremely satisfied.

This trouble out reach was problematic beyond the norm. The solution was to replace a faulty transfer pump. Unfortunately no replacement part was available at the job site. A diligent effort was made to ensure at least survival amount of water was available until the replacement part was secured.
Double R responded to my trouble call very promptly on a holiday weekend..
You cannot ask for a better service company to resolve your water needs.

I'm a retired general contractor. Some of my home repairs I complete myself. Replacing a submersible well pump is not one of them since my well is 300 feet deep. My 18 year old pump was still working so this would be a preventative maintenance replacement of the pump. I interviewed 3 other well pump companies here in Reno. Chris at Double R gave me a detailed description of what his company would do for me and gave me an estimate he would stick with. The others didn't come close in taking the time to explain or a written estimate. Two over the phone verbal guesstimates and after numerous tries the third never returned my request. The job took somewhat longer than estimated and Chris stuck with the initial bid. I watched and reviewed the installation personally. All the hardware used was high quality stainless steel. My system has never worked better. I am thoroughly satisfied and impressed with his knowledge and commitment to quality work. Double R is a company I would highly recommend.

My parents are elderly and live at Topaz Lake NV and their water supply stopped on a Friday night. They have a well. Saturday morning I called several places to help from Gardnerville to Carson City. Either they were closed or would not go to Topaz Lake. I finally called Double R and they were ready to go and help my parents. They were out at the house by noon that same Saturday and fixed the well system. Double R service is excellent and professional. I recommend them whole heartedly. Service was quick and at a fair price. Thank you Double R!

Called and explained the situation to Chris. He said he had some available and would verify how soon he could be here to fix the problem so that we would have water today. He stated he would have someone between 10:00 and 10:15 am. It was a very expensive fix this time around, but hopefully this will last for a long time. Will definately recommend this company, and will definately use them again.
