Dougs Plumbing

Called and left voicemail on Sunday. Called and left another voicemail following Tuesday. Still haven't had a callback. Assuming the business is permanently closed.

Doug set up appointment, with me on the phone on Monday, September 30th. Then I immediately texted him back to confirm the appointment time, since I did not write it down. He responded yes, appointment set for 9:00am on Thursday, October 3rd (3 days later).

The day of the appointment here is no sign of Doug yet at 9:40am, so I sent him a text. No response. I called a few times, no response. I texted again, now asking if he is ok, no response. Well...that was October 3rd....AND STILL NO RESPONSE.
AND....this was not the first time he was a no show/no response. He also set up an appointment on Sept 12th at 4:00pm, but never showed up or called! We thought we would give him the benefit of the doubt the first time, but now this is twice! No response at all. REALLY?? What's up Doug!! Not cool. PS. I never write negative reviews, but this really rubbed me the wrong way!

Doug helped me with a bathroom plumbing remodel, when two other plumbers wouldn't even return my calls. Prompt service and a fair price. I have done plumbing by myself, and I recognize a good job.

Doug is wonderful. I left a message for him and he called me right back. He put in a faucet in for me when I had my counter tops put in. So he had to do two appointments. Both times he was right on time, actually the 2nd time he was early. Which was great because we were heading out of town. He was very reasonable- Thank's Doug!

Doug sourced and installed a water softener.

I had a kitchen faucet line that blew up and leaked water everywhere. I called several plumbers on Saturday that couldn't come out until next week. With no household water the day before Easter I expected no help then I called Doug. He said I'll be there in an hour. He came and installed a couple of shutoff valves and a new faucet in an hour. Very professional, on time and reasonable price.I couldn't have been more pleased. I would recommend him to anyone.

Doug started off well but quickly degraded. He cut corners in installing our tub and would not fix it according to Kohlers recommendations. He ended by slinging insults. I would not have him back in my house. Save yourself the stress we had and hire someone else.

Doug is great. Not sure why people give him low ratings on here. He has always been very prompt with returning my calls and can always help me out when it’s urgent. I have been using his services for years now. He won’t show up and try to upsell you on anything, he just gives good advice and then does solid work.
