We had an initial issue with communication. I called at 5pm for emergency services and was told we would receive a call in about an hour from our plumber to verify that we were home. No one ever called or showed up. I called first thing the next day to ask what happened. Apparently the plumber didn't have time to swing by and nobody called to let us know. They immediately made it right though. Dropped the $200 emergency service charge and sent someone out to me immediately.Our plumber was william and he was excellent. Very friendly, professional, and transparent. He ran the camera down the line and showed us exactly what the issue was. Then he gave us estimates for all our options.Despite the initial communication hiccup we will be using Stuart's again.

I have 3 central units 3 years old. The company was efficient and quick to respond. I will give them that. 4 days later one stopped cooling again. I called about 4:00 Friday and I was informed that I would be required to pay 200.00 to get them to return because it’s Friday evening???? Just my thought…but maybe,just maybe if it was fixed correctly on Monday afternoon it might of lasted for more than 3 days?

Called Stuart's Plumbing for a repair of a hot water heater. I read reviews on internet and they seemed to be reliable. From the first telephone call to inquire about services until the servicemen Matt and Josh left, I was extremely satisfied. They communicated well, arrived when they told me, were courteous and conscientious. Reasonably priced for same day service. I will definitely be calling them again for all of our needs. Definitely a 5 star company!

Stuart Services were professional, fast, clean—and they did a great job! I called Wednesday about our ancient, leaking water heater, and the polite scheduler sent a supervisor out the same day to inspect and write up a comprehensive estimate on the spot. A new heater was installed on Friday by guys who clearly knew their stuff. They took their time, did a thorough job, and cleaned up after themselves—and the hot water is back!

Joshua F saved the day! Our pipe was leaking and he came over super fast and was able to solve all of my problems quickly and efficiently! He exceeded my expectations and more. I can not recommend him enough and will be sure to tell all my friends what an exceptional job he did.

The two technicians that were sent to install the new unit, Chris and Zachary, were very professional. They informed me the work they would be performing asked if I had any questions about the installation. Upon completion, Chris explained to me what had been replaced, the warranty on the equipment and if I had any questions. The work area was cleaned before they left. Both technicians were very professional and courteous.

I called this service in a pinch one night- William had just finished his last job of the day, but came out to help me anyway! He was extremely courteous, professional and personable, and eased my worries. He efficiently repaired the issue and made sure all my questions were answered! He truly went above and beyond- even after regular work hours. I never write reviews, but I’m so grateful for William’s kindness (not to mention fixing my plumbing problem in a pinch!). He came out after hours when he didn’t have to and was so nice about it!!! Totally saved my night.Many thanks, William!

Patrick Higgins, electrician with Stuart Services, went above and beyond to help us resolve what we thought was a simple electrical problem but turned out to be an extensive re-wiring issue. Patrick came over after hours and several times on Saturday and Sunday to make sure our issues were resolved, as well as calling the city inspector and Entergy multiple times to have our power restored. We will definitely be calling Patrick for any future electrical needs!!

Called on a Friday morning with a leaking/malfunctioning AC unit, nervous about going into the weekend without Air. Spoke with Brandy and she was quick to get us scheduled for same day service and then we were notified 30 min prior to arrival. Great service. So thankful they were available! Will use again in the future if the need arises.

Service technician was one of the best I have ever dealt with. Curtious and professional and adamant about fixing the problem.

We lost power to our electrical outlet in living room and called Stuart Service. The specialist came on time. But in surprise, he told us that in order to find out the problem, he needed to run the basic diagnosis and it would cost $425. We thought it was expensive because this is just an outlet issue and it was isolated in living room. But we thought Stuart is a company with good reviews and history. He also told us this is company policy and he couldn’t not do anything. We signed diagnostic agreement. The technician started to check out the outside electrical box outside and telling us that the wiring were old and maybe troublesome. I asked how much will cost to replace the box and he said typically around $4,000.00. (I late checked on internet with articles on Forbes and That old house, both stated it should be average$1,250.00 and $2,000.00 on high end). We told him, everything else were running fine and we do not have money to replace the box. He continued checking inside with the switch and outlets that were working, but not the one’s having issues for 2 hours and could not figure out the problem. He left for lunch and came back. After lunch he started to check outlets that were not working and found the one a loose wire. He then told us that all 9 outlet should be replaced and it will cost $919.50. This means $100.00 an outlet. The most expensive outlet costs just few dollars. I am glad our problem was fixed, but feel the service was definitely an overcharge.My conclusions are: (1) the technician should check the loose wire first before running the expensive diagnostic; (2) the estimation were outrageous, but interestingly the technician had shown us the estimations, but never sent a copy as promised; (3) when putting back the electrical cover plate, it was cracked. After we pointed it out, the technician told my husband that it was broken and you can put it back yourself, otherwise I can give you an estimate. The plate was okay before he took it off; (4) be very careful not fall in traps set by the service person.

Very knowledgeable and informative. Matt walked through every step of the process for diagnosing, explaining, and handling the problem at hand. Matt even provided pictures for evidence of what problems he diagnosed with our AC, which was definitely reassuring.

CJ and Samantha were exceptional! They both completed our panel installation in a timely manner and they were very nice people. They went above and beyond at our house and we couldn’t be more appreciative! We will definitely be sure to recommend CJ to all of our family and friends and any time we need anything done on our house. My heater went out the day before we were predicted to have a hard freeze. It was replaced and upgraded that morning and working before the freeze hit. They were all very professional.

I called them on Wednesday morning took my name & number called me back on the same day! Scott & his helper came out fixed my clog in my pipe. I need my vanity in the wall unclogged it within a few minutes.

Strange electrical problem that affected the whole house except for the A/c unit. A technician became available sooner than the dispatcher expected , and was sent right over. Great guy. Very knowledgeable. Diagnosed the electrical problem quickly. Downside, I had to call Entergy, because it was the supply from the pole. Would recommend to anyone

He was a great guy... but, kept Sirring me after I asked him to stop over ten times.Was efficient to a point... he turned on the electrical switch for the lights so fast that he blew both bulbs. ;)Now, I have to go buy two new light bulbs... totally his fault.They are weird bulbs that just have posts on the end.

Jimmy V installed new GFCI outlets in n our kitchen. This included one under the sink. He accomplished all work in a timely manner kept the workplace clean and clear. The finished job looked better then new. I would not hesitate to call Stuart Elec. back again for any other problems. Including plbg. and hvac.. Thanks for the great work.

Total rip-off should be the name of this company. I called this company at 9:18 am and explained to the receptionist that i had a clogged main sewer line and wanted them to use a auger to clean it out. She stated that a technician would be out after 2 pm. Once the gentleman arrived I showed him the clean-out location in my backyard and he prepared several options. I chose to have the line hydro-flushed to the tune of $329.00. he then informed me that he did not have the machine to do it at the time of my appointment and that it would more than likely take place on Saturday or Monday at the latest.. I paid up front for the services in advance since this company required a deposit prior to scheduling a service. After receiving a call from their office informing me that it would be after noon on Monday (3 days later) I changed my mind a went with a more capable and reliable company who charged slightly more but did the job and warranty their work. I am a retired veteran and did not appreciate the arrogance of some clown who identified himself as the quality assurance manager when I asked to have my payment minus their $49 drive up fee refunded. This place may be a reputable business however my experience with this company was horrible and disrespectful to say the least. Do yourself a favor pay a little more and go with a reputable company who knows what customer service is all about.

As a single woman I am normally afraid to have repairmen out to my home because I usually get fleeced. Not this time. Adam was prompt and he handled my issue quickly. He didn't try to upsell me - I found him to be professional. Great experience. Highly recommend.

Got a gas line installed at the house, they were able to do the work the same day they gave me the quote. Looks like the technician did a great job and set up the pipe exactly where we wanted it.

Stood up twice by this company. I scheduled an appt on a Monday afternoon and explicitly told the scheduler (Brandy I believe was her name) that I have to drive an hour and a half to this property so please let me know well in advance when the technician is on his way. She couldn’t give me an exact time just that it would be in the afternoon. Of fine. Well, I go to New Orleans ahead of time to make sure I don’t miss him only to receive a call around 1 that he won’t he showing up at all because he “sold work” at his last job. So I asked to reschedule on a day that I would be the FIRST appt of the day to avoid this happening again. She schedules me 3 days later on a Thursday and tells me someone will be there between 8:30 and 9:30am. Great! I reiterated to her that I am driving an hour and a half to get here so please let me know ahead of time if anything changes. Thursday rolls around. I call at 8am on my way over to make sure someone will be there. I’m told that as soon as he is ready to leave the office, he will call. 9am rolls around, I call again and get the same answer. Finally a call comes in at 9:33 telling me that the technician is at his first job and I’m next. Jesus take the wheel cuz I’m about to lose it. I’m sitting in the middle of no where just outside New Orleans with no power and no plumbing and apparently no electrician either. Trying to be a patient person I said I would wait a little longer and check back. After another 30 minutes I call back to get an update. Find out the technician sold a generator and whatever else and it’ll be another 1.5hrs at least. I canceled at that point of course and let them know I was very frustrated with how I’d been treated. I can’t understand how I was stood up twice, especially after explaining my situation to the scheduler. Completely disrespectful to waste my time like this and I’ll never use or recommend this company to anyone.

Mr Jimmy evaluated the possibility of installing a heavy alabaster bowl light fixture at our home. Although old wiring and unknown suspension possibilities prevented him giving us a price, we were thoroughly informed on optons for discovering what would need to be done in order to provide the proper support for the fixture. We look forward to working with Mr Jimmy and Stuart Services on future renovations of our old house.

Major leak of hot water. I work in a hospital providing direct care. The staff was extremely responsive and helpful. The same day I found out that my 92 y/o father (in another state) was not responsive and the Hospice Nurse didn't give him long.So much stress. They came after I could leave work, figured out what was going on, turned off the hot water and gave me my options that I can deal with after the inevitable.Thank you for your kindness.I'll be back to review the rest of the work after it happens!

Bob has always been an excellent plumber who has done everything from fixing a leaky faucet to installing our water softener and tankless heater. Each time he arrived promptly, gives thorough explanations and is quiet as a mouse. Wouldn’t trust anyone else’s but Bob at this point for our home’s plumbing needs.

I am very impressed with the service that I received from Stuart service’s plumbing technician Eddie Faucett. My wife and I recently purchased our first home in Mandeville and as with any home there were a few issues that needed fixing. I shopped around for a plumbing service that provided the best value and results. After a few different companies gave me their input, Eddie came over and sold me on his company’s product and their associated benefits. Eddie was adamant that his company was the one to invest in because of their great ratings and reputation in the business. Overall, Eddie took his time and did a fantastic job in my opinion. Eddie explained the troubles that I was having with my plumbing and walked me through the process of eliminating those troubles. At no time did Eddie rush to get out and on to the next job or pressure me for a business commitment. Normally I would have consulted with my wife on home improvements but went with Eddie’s service confident that he would not put me in the dog house. In the end Eddie tackled my plumbing issues that turned out to be more troublesome than we both thought. I also joined their benefits club in the event more work is needed at my residents. I won’t hope for problems in the future, however I do look forward to doing business with Eddie and Stuart Services when the occasion arises. Highly recommended!

Came on time. Very nice. Gave price to install a whole house surge protector. To me the price was a little high, but I agreed to have the work done. Did not have the part on truck, which is what I expected. Required 1/2 down and balance paid after job is done.

Technician (Jimmy) was on site in less than 90 minutes after I called Stuart. I had no electricity to my house because the main circuit breaker in breaker panel needed to be replaced. Work was completed fairly quickly, even though Jimmy had to locate and pick up a new breaker. Electricity was restored to the house that afternoon with no other issues. Thank you for the prompt response and immediately solving the issue

Joshua and Cornelius worked their butts off, they replaced all of our duct work and plenum. They were here all day until the job was complete. The process was handled in a most professional way and looks amazing. Another Technician Mike came by to inspect the installation to make sure it all looks good. It looks amazing. Every technician from Stuart Services that we have encountered during our time with them have been professional and polite. Very Efficient, well worth the price

This plumbing service really took the time and effort to fix all my plumbing needs the first time. The plumber was a real licensed plumber and didn’t leave until the job was completed. Don’t call anyone else! I trust them completely with my time and my money.

Both gentlemen that came to my house were extremely friendly and very professional. I felt that they might be a tad overpriced but they make up for it with their attitudes and customer service! I will definitely be using them in the future and it’s all because of the gentlemen that came to service my toilet and plumbing pipes.

What a week I had...I needed a tankless hot-water heater installed. There was a complication but Steward repaired the issue immediately and did a great job. And, in the same week, my garbage disposer developed a hole in it that caused an unbelievable mess. Stewart replaced it the next day! I had a leaky pipe and an air conditioning issue...all in the same week...and Stewart's techs repaired all of that too. Then, if that wasn't enough, my electrical panel was about to be pulled from the side of my house...Stewart Services to the rescue once again. Hopefully, everything is done and finished and no more emergencies! Thank you Stewart Services for coming to my rescue. And, their staff are all VERY nice! Great job!

Chris was very thorough and knowledgeable. Answered all my questions. Didn’t push me to use his company when I told him I was getting multiple estimates. They had great options with a rebate or 3 years/0%. Ended up being the best priced estimate anyway. Highly recommend them.

I needed an outlet moved due to the installation of a built in desk in my kitchen/breakfast room. Chris came on Tuesday at the appt time and gave me a quote and said that Jimmy could be there between 8:00 and 8:30 on Wednesday to do the work. He was knowledgeable and asked about anything else we might need. That’s when I added the second outlet as a possibility. Jimmy came as expected early on Wednesday and did the work that Chris had quoted. Jimmy was very helpful, telling me requirements when covering outlets (as did Chris), and helping me think through solutions to the use of the outlets and how to properly uncover the hidden outlets in compliance with regulations and in case of future problems. I will definitely call Stuart for our future electrical needs.

Ed and Eddie were were professional and responsive. What appeared to be electrical problems were actually a user error. They were very helpful so no repairs were necessary. I will absolutely use them again for any repair work I have.

This was my first time using Stuart Services and was very happy with the quick response and the professionalism. Everything that was done was explained to me ahead of time. I will definitely use their services again.

We had our Mitsubishi mini split system installed in 2014 by another vendor. It has served us well, but when it was time to have it maintained, we had difficulty finding an experienced professional. Juan Hernández was professional, knowledgeable, personable, efficient and a capable. I gave his service four stars simply because it was a little pricey, but you definitely get the best quality service available. We will be calling for Juan to maintain our units for now on.

Reliable service when you need it and quality work but expensive. Some of the highest rates around especially if you are a “difficult diagnostic” meaning a special fee scale based on if you are in the French Qtr, etc. wasn’t happy about that and will def be a consideration for the next service I need. Bottom line if you have time and it’s not an emergency used another company.

We had a problem with the air conditioning unit for our second floor…it was not cooling at all. Mike D came out and diagnosed the problem quickly and replaced the capacitor. Now the upstairs is cool and comfortable.

We have used Stuart Services for EVERYTHING from air conditioning, plumbing to electrical. Everyone that has come to provide service has been fantastic and extremely knowledgeable professional. We will not use anyone else!

Scott Morris came out today to give me pricing on electrical and plumbing services, and I was extremely pleased with his knowledge and professionalism which he displayed the whole time he was here!Not only was he personable, but he showed genuine concern for my situation, and gave me the best option for payments. I felt comfortable with him the minute he introduced himself and shook my hand.He took his time to show me exactly what needed to be done, and was very clear in his scope of work that I would be receiving. I trust him implicitly and am so happy that he will be doing the plumbing work himself, and also be overlooking the electrical workers to make sure that they check everything that we discussed.I would recommend him to everybody in need of plumbing and electrical services!Thanks Scott!

Needed an emergency plumber for sewer line clog. Plumber determined the clog was on city side. He told me what to do and what the sewer crew would be looking for as they were driving down the street.The City was also prompt in their repair.All involved were very polite.

This was such a great call to have them do the service I need immediately. Billy (William) gave me a thorough understanding of my options and allowed me to make an informed decision about what worked best for me financially, as there is more work I will have to get done. But this helped me get to a space where my home plumbing could at least function for me until I am able to get the remaining work completed. I have had multiple plumbers come out and they did not bother to check my main pipe outside or give me options outside of the most expensive services. I appreciate his integrity and efficiency. The install was less than perfect. They left trash in the attic. They pulled up my insulation and didn’t put it back down. They damaged my sheet rock in the ceiling. I really expected better.

Found Stuart Services online. They switched our fuse box to circuit breaker. The office team is responsive, patient, and helpful with questions or any concerns. We were able to schedule service in less than 24hours. On the day of, CJ and Samantha, gave us the plan for the day. They both kept me updated on estimated time of completion. Once complete, CJ and Samantha took the time to explain everything to me on the new box. They even pulled an example of a switch so I could see and hear what it would feel like to turn it back on. Terrible service my elderly mother had to wait over a week for technician to come out and fix her air conditioning which was under warranty for a previous repair done by Stuart. They don't have the man power to do the work they take on. They just want you on a contract to get your money then they leave you hanging when you have a problem. I highly recommend using anyone else but Stuart Services.

EXTREMELY un-professional.Called 24hrs prior and scheduled an appointment with reception who told me I was good to go for the next day.1) I asked for an approximate time obviously. I was told they can't provide one. I was shocked but I said alright and took the next day off. I waited almost the entire day and got a call at ~4pm and they told me they are too busy to come today and would have to reschedule for the next day.2) Not only do they not give you a time, they don't care what that entails. It entails people taking the day off due to that. I asked if they can give me a time for the next day and they STILL said no and basically asking me to keep waiting a take another day off.NEVER do business with them you'll waste time, money, and they'll just keep rescheduling on you as they see fit.

Met with Scott earlier today for a quote on a water heater. The expertise was dripping off of him like the water dripping off of my buster tank heater. It was like he could smell what I needed. His X-ray vision could see the amount of corrosion loaded in my pipes.Jokes aside, Scott was prompt professional and very knowledgeable.Will leave another review of the work once it’s done.

Josh arrived in the allotted time frame, introduced himself and his company, investigated the problem, wrote up a description what he was going to do (Option 1 & 2), priced both options and explained that Option 1 was the least expensive to start with to solve the problem with Option 2 using more sophisticated and larger equipment to attacked the issue if Option 1 didn't solve the problem. He also stated that only one charge will be billed to me and not both combined, even if Option 1 didn't solve the problem. Option1 worked and he fix the problem. I called for emergency service and was told the charge was going to be $200.00, and cost of repairs. So I agreed to terms. 1 hour later as told by service representative technician showed up. While I was explaining the problem the technician he tells me it’s going to cost an additional $125.00 dollars to LOOK in the fuse panel. REALLY!!! Why was this not disclosed in prior conversation? This is shady business After $325.00 dollars, Entergy had to repair the problem.

Website advertises $99 drain clean. Called them for a cleaning. Called 1 hr until the deadline of the arrival timeframe and mentioned the tech had to go home early for personal reasons. I suggested they try their best to find another tech, which they did. Came with a drain scope that was not long enough. Had to come back with a bigger scope line. Received a bill for $550. What happened to the $99 drain cleaning which included an inspection? Got the raw end of that deal.

My system was installed by Stuart services 16 years ago. I have nothing but good things to say about Stuart Services. They have come through for me time after time.

Ed did a very good job on our Generator. We get Stuart to service it every year since 2005.We are very satisfied with Stuart Services we always have annual inspection once a year. WE bought a new Generator from Stuart got a 20KW hope it work for us fine. we had a 15 Kw but it needed some part so bought a new one.Hope the new one will last as long or better than the old one.

Stuart Services was able to get us a repair same day in an emergency situation where we were going to have to keep our water shut off during a hard freeze if not. Steven, the plumber on our job, was very professional and did a great job. Highly recommend!

Discovered I had an electrical issue in two upstairs bathrooms during remodeling - ceiling light cans not working.A master electrician (Ed) helped me trouble shoot the issue, which was beyond my halfway decent ability, and recommend a simple DIY solution. Turns out, I had removed a wire segment connecting two old lights i was repacking.He also did a basic overall inspection of what he could see. So he he pointed out something I hadn’t noticed - the heating element in one of the overhead fans was burnt out.The professionalism was crazy good. While there, he also gave me a quick lowdown my electrical panel was in great shape with no code issues and answered all my questions patiently and politely.Yeah, I was blown away by the service - including the communications and texts for arrival times and electrician name.

I had Jimmy come to my home to install two light fixtures into 12’ high ceilings. As soon as we met, he was very kind and was already wearing a mask as he entered, in addition to respecting his distance (Covid-19 is still running rampant at the time of this writing). I thought there would be some complications with installing the light fixtures (something was brittle and broken inside the ceiling), but after inspecting the ceiling and giving me his game plan, he told me that it was easily solvable and he proceeded to lay out a tarp so as to not disturb anything in the room. He left no messes and managed to finish in about an hour, a lot faster than I expected, at a much more reasonable price than I expected.

Scott got to me within 15 minutes of my call! He was very personable and gave great service and advice for future issues should they arise. Everything is working appropriately and the pricing was about average for plumbing services.

We were having plumbing issues at our home and I checked the web for companies in my area. Saw the Stuart ad and was impressed by it.. That was only the beginning! Once I scheduled an appointment, Mr. Edward Eddie Faucett, was early,in a clean professional uniform, asked to see the problems, provided a written estimate of what he had to do. Once I signed the estimate, he went right to work .He wore booties every time he came into the house!!! He worked quickly and explained everything. one project required he come back later that afternoon and again he was quick and professional! This was the best experience I have ever had with getting service for my home!!! The office staff was just as professional!

I had a new Hot Water Heater install, the two servicemen that did the installation was Scott M. and Chris N.F. , they did a great job and was very friendly and was very knowledgeable with their work. I would recommend Stuart Services to everyone.

We got an entire new A/C system through Stuart in 2016 and was told there is a 10 year warranty. Fast forward to May 14th 2020 the ac stopped working. Since it was not blowing cold air, i turned the unit off. No big deal right because it's under warranty. Wrong! The guy tells us that even though it's under warranty, we have to pay an annual fee close to $200 in order to cash in the warranty. We pay the money and he tells us that the ac is working fine now, he doesnt see a problem (I believe that's because I turned the unit off and that gave it time to defrost).Less than 6 weeks later, the same issue that I initially called about is happening again. The same technician comes out and does a proper inspection this time and shows me a video of frozen pipes. Frozen pipes that he said was caused by the motor that isn't working and need to be replaced. That was Thursday. He said Stuart ordered the part and paid expedited shipping, and should be here Monday. He said if the part comes in by afternoon, they will come to install it. That means, we will continue to be without ac until Monday, presuming the part comes in.Fast forward to Monday, I call within the noon hour and learned that the part did in fact arrive. My relief was very short lived when I learned no one was available to come out that day. We have been without ac since Tuesday. I expressed my frustration and was told that the techs were stuck at other jobs and that they are actually super booked the next day, its lucky that they will try to fit me in. A big part of me wonders if I got pushed to the back burner because they were not gonna be making any money from this repair. Another part of me feels like this whole thing could have been prevented if the motor would have been properly inspected less than 6 weeks ago. Maybe I'm wrong, and there is no way to look at a motor and tell it's on its last legs. Either way, the result is 7 days without ac in New Orleans summer heat and humidity. I'm super disappointed with Stuart Services.

Just had all the house water pipes hot and cold replaced from under the slab , thanks to Adam Elias and his team at Stuart services the only company that showed up and responded in my family's emergency, water pouring from under the slab under the kitchen sink ,the day of the call on a Saturday within an hour of the call and set up a prepared plan of action to resolve my plumbing issues. Service technician came to my house to see what was wrong with my gfci outside outlets. Previously had my house pressure washed and now they weren’t working. He came and wasted an 1/2 hour of his time and mine. He didn’t try to reset them or the one in question and proceeded on tallying up a $266 - $342 estimate to troubleshoot my circuit breaker box and remove and replace the (4) outlets at an additional cost. I’m glad my better senses prevailed and I passed on his money grab. I had the gentlemen who performed the pressure wash stop by. They took a small blunt screwdriver and reset the one in question that resulted in all of them working. This isn’t the time in life to blood suck money from people....SMH

Chris came out this morning to inspect our ac/heating system. As usual, he exhibited the professional manner to which I have become accustomed when dealing with anyone from Stuart Services. He was pleasant and courteous. The good news is that everything checked out okay with our main system. We have a problem with our thermostat, but he is taking care of that.Rodney also came out this morning to inspect our plumbing. While he was here, I reported a problem we have with our toilet tank not filling up quickly anymore. Rodney came up with a great plan to address that as well as a plan to address a problem with our dryer's hose and duct cover. That was a problem that I had wanted to take care of for a long time and kept forgetting to call about. So, I am very happy we have these semi annual inspections. Rodney was great! I enjoyed talking to him.As a result of the work he and Chris did in their respective areas, I am extremely satisfied. My mind will be at ease now regarding these problems that I have let go for too long. And, I have to give a shout out to my FAVORITE employee of Stuart Services: J.T. I can't think of a person I'd rather talk to in general conversation than that gentleman. His demeanor and attitude is perfect as far as I am concerned. Our service technician arrived, announcing his presence with a firm knock on my front door. I opened it quickly. There, our hero stood; his bald head was glistening in the sun. He introduced himself as Bistes. Matt Bistes. After a brief exchange of pleasantries and a thorough inspection from my dog, Matt passed through the front door. Once inside, he listened attentively to our plight as if he were Oprah and my wife and I were his guests. Next, Matt thoroughly explained Stuart's policies and procedures regarding their services. With our fears assuaged, Matt rose to do battle with our unruly HVAC system. Mask up. Pants up, so I didn't have to see his butt crack as he ascended the ladder to my attic — a true professional.When I tell you it was a battle of epic proportions, it was a clash of Titans. The heavens shook, and so did my chandelier. Silence fell upon the house. Matt slowly emerged from our attic. He had the look of a child who just found poop in his Cheerios. The air handler was in dire need of a replacement. Our valiant technician provided the photos as evidence. An awkward silence ensued, much like one's first trip to the proctologist. What could have been a bittersweet ending turned into a joyous celebration as Matt spent the next few minutes carefully explaining our options. We had three pathways that could return our HVAC to a fully operational state. He even went so far as to explain Stuart's financing options with no interest for 60 months. My wife and I appreciated all of the knowledge he imparted to us; however, we could not afford to make a decision at this time.After all was said and done, Matt got up to leave. It was sad to see him go, but we knew others were in need. I cried. My wife cried. My dog started a slow clap. 10 / 10. I would recommend Matt Bistes from Stuart's Services to anyone. We've been having plumbing issues with our toilets backing up in the bath tubs and not draining. Stuart Services came out Friday the 27th for emergency service to clean the line. Less than 24 hours later we were having the same issues. They told me there is no warranty on service and if I wanted them to come back I would have to pay for an additional emergency service fee! Still having issues to this day

Mike always does a great job.

Mike responded to my call to service our HVAC as it had stopped working. He arrived just around lunch time and within an hour had our unit working. The problem was a faulty capacitor. Because we had only just had the same problem a few months ago and the Stuart team had installed the failed part there was no charge for parts. Good and honest service from Stuart Services

We called to request the replacement of a failing pump in our a/c system two days ago. They planned to come same day, but late in the day called to advise that they would not be able to make it. I was unavailable the following day, so we scheduled it for today. Today I got a call, again delaying until tomorrow. While I'm impressed with their online ratings, we are going to look elsewhere.

We called Stuart Services to get my parents generator running. They have a 2017 Briggs and Stratton bought through a different company. This other company (rhymes with Keith’s) has been unresponsive and claimed they could not come out to work on the unit. This other company failed to fix this problem after multiple service visits.Stuart Services broke us in to their schedule and were able to show me how to get the generator started. There is a part needed to fix the problem which The “Keiths” service tech had never touched. We have ordered the part through Stuart’s and they will come back to fix the generator permanently.I was very satisfied with how prompt, respectful and knowledgeable the Stuart’s tech was. Will never do business with “for fast relief call “Keith’s”” ever again.

Made our appointment and Waited for our 4 hour time window and this company called us to tell us they are not coming today unless we pay for an emergency visit costing $200.00I am a service professional myself and this would not happen at my company. We would send someone out , even if it was not the tech assigned initially. Our unit is under warranty until 2027, so unfortunately we have to deal with these people. I have no idea how you can have people waiting for 4 hours ( taking off of work, losing money ) and then say they are not coming, but they will for $200!! I understand about jobs / stops taking longer than anticipated, I’m not upset about that. I don’t care if they were to come 3 hours late, I understand $hit happens. But don’t pass your problems on to the customer and make them pay for it, literally!

Called for emergency service due to an back flow in the tubs and toilets around 7:45 PM. Received a return call around 8:30 PM. Service technician, Mark, was at our home by 9:10PM. Mark arrived in uniform with a pleasant professional attitude and ready to tackle the job. He quickly ascertained the problem, gave us our estimate, then got on the roof to access the vent stack and begin to solve the problem. Thinking it was solved, we began to flush and run the shower. Unfortunately, one of the two bathrooms was still having issues. Mark went back on the roof without a complaint and started again. Within an hour and a half, our problem pipes were clear. He stuck around for an additional half hour to assure the problem did not recur as did the first time.Professional, courteous, knowledgeable. By far the best plumber that has ever come to our home. Thank you for making a difficult night much more pleasant.

I used Stuart services for both plumbing and electric work. Both services were done professionally and efficiently. Joshua was an amazing plumber who went above and beyond to ensure the work was done correctly. Had a gas leak. Called Stuart's and they sent a guy out the next day. He told me I needed a whole new line at a cost of $3550. Before I spend that much money of repairs, I'm going to get a second opinion. I then called Copperhead Plumbing. Justin came out and rechecked everything. He tells me it's a fitting causing the problem. Fixed everything for $325. House passed inspection and my gas is back on. Either Stuart's is dishonest or incompetent. Either way I will not be calling them again. My advice is call Justin at Copperhead.

This company helped us with our under slab water-leak the next day after getting an estimate. They were fast and professional which made me happy! We would recommend them if you’re having plumbing problems.

I called for the service to check my home for a possible slab leak. Adam and Eddie came out the same day to check and before leaving I received an explanation of what was wrong and cost for repairs. 3 days later they returned repaired the leak at the time and price I was given. Adam knew exactly how to fix a slab leak and even took pictures so I could see the work he had to do in the attic. Adam and Eddie are awesome!!

Jeremy was professional and courteous. He diagnosed the problem with our electric circuit. Had me test the appliance and saw the circuit was still arcing. He then traced the arcing damage to neighboring circuits. He did all this with my husband nearby engaging him in conversation. Couldn't ask for a better experience.

Horrible service. I am in dental school and am with patients all day. I told them to call my husband's phone number and after calling me twice and leaving a voicemail. I quickly got out of my operatory and called back, only to be informed that I lost my appointment. I complained so she told me she talked to the plumber and they would make it to my house by 4. At 4:10 I called them and they told me they had cancelled my appointment due to no one answering the phone.

Ed was efficient, informative, and friendly. While he performed some electrical work, I have used Stuart Services for plumbing, as well as installation of a new hot water heater, and I will call upon them again.

I called Stuart Services regarding my water heater which was making a loud noise. In my opinion, the service was great. The price was high. Mr. Eddie was on time, he was professional, he was able to appropriately trouble-shoot the water heater, and he fixed the problem in a timely manner. I am very happy with the service I received.The price, I believe, was very high. The material cost was nominal and the labor took less than 1.5 hours from the time he arrived until the time he left. My bill was $320. I work in real estate and routinely pay $65 / hr for a licensed plumber. Using this metric, the job should cost barely north of $100. I absolutely understand that Stuart Services has much higher overhead costs than a small, independent plumber. As such, I would be OK with paying a 50% or even a 100% premium for exceptional service and a good warranty from a larger company. However, paying 3X more is excessive. I asked what a complete changeout of a water heater would cost ($1,800 for a 5-gallon) and the same % discrepancy in prices exists.The bottom line: Stuart Services is a professional company that appears to run a very good business and provides exceptional service. I can only assume that due to their own expense tables, profit goals, and steady business flow, they have no reason to decrease their prices. If you want a company that will diagnose your problem effectively and efficiently and will properly fix your problem, they are a great choice. Just be prepared to pay for it.

Instead of calling to give notice they will not show up to your service appointment- they wait until the end of the day and claim they will make it the next business day, before cancelling again. While I am sensitive to labor shortages, this company has operated the same way for years, constantly rescheduling and cancelling appointments without notice. If they cannot service clients they should not accept jobs.

Main breaker arcing causing flickering of lights in the house. Called Stuart and they actually sent a technician out in just two hours to my surprise. Technician (ED) found the problem and explained my options. I chose to replace the 40 year old panel completely. He explained pricing and I opted for new box. Stuart sent two technicians two days later and they spent five hours replacing panel and all the breakers. They did a nice job and made sure I inspected completed job. Very professional.

Josh F. came to our house to fix our backed up primary drain line for the AC. He was VERY nice and courteous and also SUPER thorough. After he had replaced the line he ran the AC to make sure the line was draining but it just didn't meet his high standards so he called in one of the company tool runners (Scott I think his name was) to bring in the necessary tools so Josh could blow the remaining gunk out of the line.

A/C thermostat kept loosing power. Come to find out it was the drain line. Cleared it right out and told me what to look for so it doesn’t occur again. Super nice and friendly as well

The fuse box on my house was pulled away from the wall during Katrina, I never worried about fixing it (my bad) until the homeowner's insurance noticed it as a danger and was going to cancel my policy.I called Stuart Services and they came out quickly. He looked at it and told me without inspecting it, it would be dangerous just to screw it back on the wall. He did a VERY thorough inspection with pictures from all areas.. Pointed out the problems and showed me what a complete upgrade and replacement would cost and also an estimate to fix what could be safely fixed and what had to be replaced. He said he could not take shortcuts that would not be safe.He was very knowledgeable, so I went with him to do the job. He told me almost exactly how long the job would take and how long our electricity would be out. (turned the AC on very low so it would stay cool for the day.) Great job,, very happy with the service and feel comfortable the job has made the house safer. Sent pictures to the insurance company and they didn't cancel my policy.

I had 11 people coming to my house for dinner and an evening of Pokeno. About 15 minutes before they were to arrive, I realized my house was pretty warm. The thermostat read 85. I called Stuart Services and the next thing I knew, Mike was at my front door. Turned out to be a bad compressor (I think that's what he called it). He replaced it and the evening was saved. I and all my guest were very impressed at how quickly MIke showed up. Stuart Services technicians are very professional, arrive on time, and do a great job.I can recommend Stuart Services highly. I have used Stuart Services before and have always had good service. This time Scott came and like all the others, was very professional. He arrived on time. I showed him what I needed done and he listened carefully. He recorded them accurately and in detail on the job form and gave me the estimate before he left.Stuart Services to the rescue again. It was a Sunday when I had ANOTHER leak. I've been in this house for 30+ years and the plumbing was apparently done poorly because I've had 4 - 5 leaks over the years. This time Scott was on call and he came out immediately. In discussions with him, I decided to quit doing the work piecemeal and had Stuart Services re-do all the inside plumbing. It took 3 days and was done with minimal disruption to me. I had cold water every night so I didn't have to stay somewhere else for the 3 days. Many thanks to Scott who organized the job and gave me an estimate before he left on Sunday. On the first day, Scott came along with Rodney and I think Steven. The plotted out the job and Rodney and Steven got to work. On the third day, Scott and Michael Gomez came back and helped finish the job. As usual, everyone was professional and I was very satisfied with the work.

After detecting a leak in the exposed frozen plumbing, I called Stuart on Christmas Day. After a couple of delays and difficulties getting a confirmed appointment, the Plumbers, William and Nick, finally appeared on December 28. William was in charge, Nick the willing and helpful apprentice. William was knowledgeable, cordial and effective. Total repair was necessary, but impossible in a day, but they restored water pressure so that all plumbing functions are restored, and William is preparing estimates for another leak stop and total replacement of galvanized pipe. The two could not have been more friendly, helpful and effective.

I needed the plumbing equipment hooked up after purchasing a new kitchen sink. Scott Morris and David Rhodes did a great job tailoring the pipes and getting the necessary supplies. After buying a house we were slim on money and have to use credit cards to get things done around the house. My coworker recommended them because they were efficient. But our surprise came when they wanted to charge 425 diagnostic fee for each issue. This is absolutely absurd on top of the pricing we to fix a doorbell. They also quoted to install 2 $75 fans and wanted $500 each to install. I can usually do this myself, but I am pregnant and can't do any of this stuff anymore. I get companies have over head to pay for but if you would make your prices cheaper maybe you could get more customers. I work for an automotive dealer and our diagnostic fee for an entire vehicle and ANY issue is 190.00 then that cost goes towards the repairs. The technician had a problem with wanting to separate the quote like it was an issue. And wanted to argue with me about my ring device. I have installed many of these rings to a doorbell and haven't had any issues. Just because we are women and aren't electricians shouldn't mean anything. My wife's father was an electrician, and this is just not how you need to be treating people. Or charging people this absurd amount of money. Granted they let me cancel and refunded for half of the charges for the job but still had to pay the diagnostic fee. Doesn’t even deserve 2 stars now.Update: Ed tried to call and speak to us on this and wanted to ask well what prices should we be charging. This isn’t a way to do customer service. You should be apologetic not condescending. He came off very rude trying to understand a customers issue. “Well you could have denied it” but 425 diagnostics for each issue is ridiculous point blank.

Service was great! Adam came out to look at broken water heater, gave me options and explained nuances but wasn’t pushy. Team came to install few days later. Job wasn’t easy as unit is located in attic but everything was installed and working within couple hours. Will definitely use this company again.

Everyone that we came into contact with from the call center to the technicians was very helpful. I can't remember everyone that came to our home but they completed the job with our HVAC system in a timely manner considering the conditions they were working in.

Charged me 375.00 diagnostic fee to tell me that squirrels had chewed through some wires in the attic.. So I paid 375.00 for him to be in my attic for 15 minutes. Then told me it would cost 775.00 dollars to repair it. That it would take TWO men and THREE hours repair it. Sounded very fishy to me...Long story short.. got another recommendation and paid less than 100.00 to repair. Please don't waste your money on these crooks. They were going to charge me over a THOUSAND dollars, for something that cost A HUNDRED to fix. Save your money!

Stuart Services installed a new HVAC system for me recently, and I have been very impressed. From the gentleman that provided the quote to the service techs that installed the new system, it was a very positive experience. Installation process was very smooth and completed within the promised times. The installers brought everything they needed to protect my hardwood floors when in my house, and cleaned up everything when they left. Pretty sure they actually left my house cleaner then it was when they got here.

The named employees of Stuart Services installed a whole house generator including the automatic switch panel. The installation of the electrical components, gas line and generator were flawless. These folks are very professional and know their business. Technician was supposed to arrive Friday 12-4. They called at 3:30 said he was still coming. Finally they called and said, so sorry he will be there in the morning. Waited all day for nothing. When the guy came I knew it would be a hefty service charge just for showing up. A dishwasher wasn't working and I suspected a bad breaker in the main box. Sure enough that's all it was. The service charge for diagnostic was $177.00. I was prepared for that but not the additional $168.62 for a simple GE 20 amp breaker which costs $10 at Home Depot. What a criminal racket. But I had to have it done since it's my downstairs rental and I'm going out of town. Never will use Stuart Services again. Avoid unless you like to be ripped off... Alex

William came out on Christmas Eve-day to repair an outdoor pipe that had come apart at a seam (part of the outdoor tankless water heater system) during the Dec 2022 freeze. When I put the call in I didn't expect anyone that day! Yes there was a $250 holiday fee, but he treated the repair as a warranty call (new system installed last March). We didn't even need to delay our drive to visit family since everything was outside the house and he could get to it.

My mom had her water heater pilot relit. The guy who came over was nice and knowledgeable and gave several options of what she should do about her aging water heater. Bob and his team came out early in the morning just as promised. He explained our options, without any pressure to choose the most expensive job. When it was time for them to cut a hole in my wall to access the pipes, they kept the hole as small as possible.Bob and his team finished quickly, cleaned up after themselves, and were super friendly to boot. Honestly, they just isn’t anyone better in the New Orleans area. They were amazingly responsive. The installation process was a dream. And then in the middle of Hurricane Ida they managed to come out and service everything. They have single-handedly saved my family and my business. Terrible terrible service! Never waste your money! My air conditioner had an issue on Tuesday. But they sent me the technician on Thursday afternoon. The issue is that my AC outside unit did not work sometimes.Before they came, they told me that I have to turn off the AC whole morning (87F outside). After the technician came, he told me that he need to charge $250 for diagnosis. Don't believe their website, they said they only charge $50 for the trip.That was not the worst part. After he checked everything, he said that there was no problem with my AC, but he could not offer a warranty unless I pay $5,700 to change the inside unit. My AC worked well at that time. So I thought everything was good. However, the same issue comes again. The company said that they can do the diagnosis again with $450 only for diagnosis.They have the unprofessional technicians, can not solve the problems and just want you to reinstall the whole AC system. Terrible terrible service!

Jeff and his crew from Stuart services are the best! They came out and replaced all of the electrical components damaged by ida and did a complete replacement of all of the panels outside and inside. They performed all the work very quickly and efficiently and within my budget. If I ever have any electrical needs it would be hard for me not to call Jeff or Stuart services first! They will keep pushing your job off for higher paying jobs, which speaks the how they can care about their customers and the level of disrespect they have for them. They ARE NOT dependable and are very unprofessional. From the look of things, management encourages and supports this type of behavior, so don’t count on them to try and correct the behavior. My unit needed experience to diagnose the problem. The evaporator coil was completely clogged and the blower motor had failed. Matthew got us started, Chris got the new coiled installed which required some patience and skill. The motor that was installed had a vibration. We initially placed a call to our home warranty company American Home Shield and at present we are still waiting for a response. That was 5 days ago. I have used Stuart Services several times now. Fuse box installation, new AC and furnace, bathroom fan installation, hot water heater repair and maintenance, and a few other odd and ends. Satisfied with their services and return services. Rates are competitive with other companies if you compare estimates, they haven't price gouged their rates.

They cannot keep an appointment to save their lives. I called on December 22nd to have someone come out and look at an electrical outlet that stopped working. They were supposed to come out on the morning of the 28th. They also said they would call when they were about 30 minutes away. By 3pm I had to call them and ask when they would be there. The person on the phone said that all their electricians were working on other jobs for the rest of the day. She said we could reschedule. I said ok. The next available day was January 4th. Again, the same thing happened. They called me today and said they would call me when they are next in my area and fix my issue then. They essentially said we’re not coming, we don’t know when we can come, and we have nothing for you after wasting so much of your time. I’ll never use them for any work ever again.

We called and scheduled an appointment. Then after we take the day off to meet them, they last minute said we were canceled and must reschedule. They actually said it’s normal/policy to bump the people who are scheduled at the end of the day and recommended an early morning important. I can think of no other business with such a rude and careless policy. Despite this, we actually rescheduled with them on another day at 8 AM. Nearer to the new appointment, the meeting time was confirmed. Day of new meeting, they call once which we missed but immediately called back. They called from a number that can’t be called back. Our confirmed appointment was canceled by them so we decided to not use them. 2 stars as opposed to 1 because maybe they actually know something about air-conditioning despite their absolute ignorance of normal business practices or general ethics.

Scott and Jack were great! Initially Scott came out to check issues and gave a fair estimate. Next day, Scott and Jack worked to clear and replace/repair P-trap & pipes into wall. Success!! Both were professional and fast. Will call again if ever another issue arises.

CJ came by to do a safety inspection for me. I explained to him what my problem was and he immediately said it was not on the inside but on the outside and he would check the grounding first which would be the cheaper charge. I greatly appreciated that then when he did the inspection he found out that in fact the problem was on the outside and it involved the grounding wires which we're not probably up to code. He gave me an estimate which I found reasonable and when I asked him if he would take off the safety inspection charge if I gave them the business, he graciously did that for me. They will be out first thing tomorrow to do the work and I feel certain it will be done properly.

I called Stuart to have a 240v outlet installed to charge my hybrid battery. Jimmy was a very professional tech who walked me through a couple of options. He assessed my current system to provide me with the safest option. The install was done neatly and looks great! He finished well ahead of the time we discussed. I told them clearly the problem, they come to change a breaker for my water heater, and charge me about $350. I appealed to their manager, they talked to me twice, and refund me about $85 trip fee on the third discussion after about a month. As an agreement, I raised their rating.

He asked a few questions about the issue and took his time to tell me some possible outcomes. Once he fully diagnosed the issue he and Jack got to work. Rodney scheduled a full day appointment to help install a new icemaker, sink, toilet & address a leak on a Saturday since we work at home and can not have load noise during the week. We had a strange 'rattling' noise every time we turned on a faucet anywhere in our house. The plumber who came here on 3/23/23 cut into an black iron natural gas line. Luckily the natural gas meter and main had not yet been piped into the building.I’m most concerned with the fact that the plumber didn’t seem to know that a water line should not be black iron pipe and that he didn’t follow the line back to its origin, to ensure that it was a water line.I consider us lucky that the main had not been pipped in yet.Please understand, the technician was very polite and professional. The team came out today to unplug the natural gas line and reconnect it as it was. I’m most concerned with this not happening on a live natural gas line.

Called for an estimate was told that it would be $79 which i paid over the phone guy came out and told me it was an additional $270 for an estimate she could've said this before I paid her $79. I own a 40 year old office building. Jimmy from Stuart came to look at why the power wasn't working in one of the suites when a tenant moved out. He found a dangerous condition and gave us several options for fixing it. This company is professional and competent. I will use them for future needs.

They installed a Interlock Kit and 30 Amp Inlet Box so I can connect my generator safely to my panel. They charged a very fair price and did everything perfectly. We had our first power outage last week. We were able to run everything we needed including one of our Central AC units, Well Pump, Refrigerators, Lights, Router, etc.I will be using them again ! I have used Stuart for several services previously. This most recent experience was a disaster. I was having a gas line installed, the team scheduled payment, told me the arrival time of the technicians & set everything up in advance. It all sounded good to me based on the promises/commitments of the field technician as well as the phone operator. They said it was a one-day job and would be complete on the Friday they were scheduled.I bought a new gas stove to have delivered the day I was told I would have gas. It was delivered in the morning & my old electric stove was hauled off.About an hour later I got a call that there was confusion on Stuart's end and the permit hadn't been filed and no work could start until the week following and that Entergy had a heavy hand in it as well, which was explained to me to be part of the process Stuart was handling.All the mistakes were explained, but no one ever offered to try & make it right in any way. It ended up being over a month delay. Had Stuart communicated from the beginning about a process they do frequently around the city, all of this could have been avoided. If the scheduling person knew the permit wasn't done, it could have been caught there. If the technician had not promised that the Entergy side would be taken care of by them, I would not have waited until they cancelled to start that process.Every single part of this was avoidable. And multiple people failed at their job. No one ever offered to try to do something to make it better, expedite anything, discount anything, even apologize, everything was explained as out of their hands, not how it works, everything was someone else's fault.No one took responsibility, which is why I would believe this will be the experience of another customer in the near future. Be careful when you choose them for any jobs.

Beware if you have an old unit. Only interested in selling you a new one. Was told replacing circuit breaker would solve the problem. Unit stopped working in an hour. The supervisor came and said unit had to be replaced. The next day a different company's service man took the time to find out why the unit was overheating. Unit has been working fine for two weeks. I requested to speak to the owner, but was ignored.

Hey I just want to say that the technician was so helpful. and knowledgeable. He took the time to explain everything that he doing also showed me where the problem was professional and courteous. first time dealing with this company and very impressed from start to finish.

Jimmy V and Joe arrived ahead of schedule walked in like gangbusters ready to solve my isolated electrical outage problem. They attacked the power loss methodically, technically step by step, and found the solution within minutes. Jimmy V also advised me to invest in a main line breaker box surge protector SysCom which I had him install on site. I was quite pleased with the promptness and quality of Stuart services and will not hesitate to use them again if needed. Sorry for the delay in my review but all my Cox Cable communication systems were out for 8 days as a result of this latest electrical outage. I'm satisfied with the service I received. My sink was backing up with water which ended up being caused by a blockage in the drain line about 50 feet or so down the line. The technician, Jill, showed up in a timely manner. She was friendly, knowledgeable and thorough. My problem was correctly diagnosed and resolved during the visit. She also took the time to answer a few other questions not related to the main issue. I would HIGHLY recommend calling Stuart Services the next time you need a problem fixed. Scott was very nice and punctual. However, he had assured me that he was experienced with smart toilet repair. He tried calling the manufacturer for guidance but they did not respond promptly, leaving him stumped. With a service price of $337 and nothing resolved, he tried suggesting another $500+ appointment to inspect the sewer line when the issue was with the toilet, not the sewer line. Also the full price was wrongly charged in advance instead of the deposit, as was agreed upon. Don’t sign anything unless you receive and review everything in writing beforehand.

Rodney and Steven were on time, informative and knowledgeable. They explained in detail how everything worked and cleaned up before they left like they were never there. These guys were awesome. I will use Stuart Services again and again.

They handled the job quickly and within budget. I had water coming up through my carpet in the hallway and they were able to detect the cause of the leak (AC drain line) and repair it.

I purchased a outside AC UNIT IN 2015 . Stuart Services gave me a useless warranty on the condenser for 10 years. It is leaking and they refused to honor the warranty due to lack of maintenance by Stuart Services. The condenser is defective. I cleaned the condenser twice a year myself. I will tell everyone I know how deceptive your company is.

Kenny and his technician were awesome! This was a very tedious job that these 2 guys did in minimal time and mess. Other companies wanted to literally tear up walls to complete this job.Kenny is very knowledgeable and both guys were very professional. Their work is the type of quality that exceeds expectations.I also rate the company very high. The dispatcher called me 45 min each time before their arrival and was very courteous.

Josh and assistant (Ashley? can't remember her name) did an excellent job replumbing our townhouse after a bad experience with another plumbing service. They surveyed work to perform for their plan forward. They explained plan for job and proceeded. Job took about 4 days, at the end of each day a walk through was done to discuss work completed and review any concerns or questions. Discussed plan for next day. Before turning water on, piping was air tested without any leaks. At completion of work Josh did a final walk through and explained the installation of bend supports, insulation added ( some for protection of piping close to metal trust) and the securing of piping to structure. It was a pleasure working with Josh and his helper. They may be more expensive but comparing way they work and attention to detail it gives you the confidence job is done correctly. Josh and Ashley(??) thanks for a job well done!

Keith was probably the best hvac technician i have ever had, he deserves a raise an should be the highest paid tech you have. Period. Keith was professional, knowledgeable, respectful, very informative, went the extra, extra mile.. exceptional work on a recently poorly installed unit by a different company. Let me say I had a tech lined up at 10:30am that Friday. An was scheduled for 5pm for freon charge of 410a. But at 4:45pm recieved a call with them saying it would have to be Monday. In a panic called 6 other companies an was a no go. Even though Stuart's is on the south shore they did offer 24 hour service an by 6pm Keith arrived. He stayed with me for several hours till we found the actual problem when he was only coming out for freon charge. We then scheduled for him to come back an Tuesday , change the txv valve , he came back then, an the a/c has been clean an crisp, very cold since then. Thank you Keith I hope your exceptionally great work an great customer service doesn't go unnoticed. An Thank you Stuart's for sending us Keith. I highly recommend Stuart's AC. 👍🏻👍🏻

I wasn't going to add a review but now I feel like I have to. We just bought a 100 year old house and have a substantial amount of work to do. A man named Jimmy came out to the house to give me a quote. He was condescending and fear-mongering. I would ask questions to gain clarity about the work that we needed, and he'd either stare at me like I was stupid or answer the question as if it was a major inconvenience for him to even be answering. On top of all of this, I never even received the quote he said he'd email me! A complete & unpleasant waste of my time.Kevin at B&R Electric just completed our work and am SO happy with our choice - a night and day difference. Thorough, on time, and above all else - KIND!!

As usual I,m not disappointed by your service. Scott arrived when he said he would, He immediately looked at the situation and told me what had to be done. Scott was very knowable about what service was required and took time to go into detail about the work and pricing of the required service! It is always enjoyable to deal with a person like Scott! Stuart Services is very lucky to have men like Scott representing their Company!The only problem I have is not with Scott but with his vehicle. I was a Safety Officer before I retired so usually see what others sometimes miss. When Scott arrived I was talking to my neighbor and could not help notice the front tires very worn. I know that safety is always of primary importance in every company and I also know that Stuart Services would always take measures to make sure an employee such as Scott will have a safe vehicle! We needed to replace our heating and air conditioning system in August during one of the hottest weeks of the year. Stuart Services was able to deliver and expertly install our new system in 1 day, and within 3 days of placing the order! They also installed a portable air conditioner the day before to keep us comfortable. Our salesperson Josh S. was knowledgeable, honest, and gave us excellent advice. He personally led the installation, which gave me confidence that what he sold us would be exactly what we got, and the system exceeds our expectations! Installers Bradley, Zack, and Malik were professional and careful with my home. Kyle T. performed an air balancing the next day which maximized the effectiveness of the system and our home feels cooler and more comfortable than it ever has! We were so happy with our new system that we asked Stuart Services to return and install a mini-split in our Southwest facing sunroom, and they were able to deliver and install it within one day of our order! Juan H. installed the system and did a BEAUTIFUL job. In addition to having the comfort of the air conditioning, the unit looks great in my sunroom - Juan took the time to think about how it would blend aesthetically with my room and centered the unit on the wall and hid all of the accessories with covers. We are beyond thrilled with the service, responsiveness, thoroughness, and honesty we experienced with Stuart Services and all of the people we worked with. I will never use anyone else!

Needed some electrical help. They responded within an hour. Scheduled a visit. Gave me a price. Came back the next day and did the work. Clean. Fair. We are happy with them.

I scheduled an A/C repair for my property yesterday in which they were to come out today, but I received a call from them stating that they would not be able to do the job today because their ladder was not long enough, thus they would return first thing in the morning. However, around 5pm today I received another call from them stating that they will not make it out and they will call me when they are able to do the job. I have dealt with Stuart Services in the past and they were pretty good, but the way they handled things today was so unprofessional. I'll never use them again!!!

Repair or Service a Central Air Conditioning System.The A/C Tech was very friendly and pleasant to talked to. My husband called the company late Sunday afternoon when he noticed our unit was not working properly and they responded back quickly to help resolve the problem and was out the next morning to check out our A/C and it was fixed immediately. We will continue using Stuart Services in the future because they are very dependable and affordable.

We called Stuart Services to provide a quote for ducting work and AC replacement. Chris came over on time did a general inspection of the unit and current set up. He recommended a complete replacement system with new ducting work. We asked for 3 quotes based on certain conditions. He provided the quote. I thought about the quote and what would be in our best interest.After 3 days, I called him and asked him a couple of questions about the system.I told him that we were going to go with Stuart Services.We set up an appointment with JT and the crew came (originally we were told that it would take two days but at the end it took 3 days due to set up in the attic).Mike who handle the installation was very responsive with the questions and accommodating to specific request.After using the system about a week.... It stop working. We called Stuart Service on Christmas Day....and they came over. It was minor thing and it was corrected in 10 minutes after the tech got to the house. We are happy with the services that Stuart Services has provided. They responded quickly and in a professional manner when we had issues with the system and honor the warranty (we like that....no drama).I would definitely call them again!!!!

Our a/c was not working on a Friday afternoon. Juan arrived promptly and explained he would run diagnostics. He found the problem and since he had the part , our a/c was fixed quickly. He communicated exactly what he would do and completed the repair.

Very knowledgeable team of technicians. Matthew was very thorough with his troubleshooting of our standby generator equipment; so thorough that he noticed an issue with the service feed lines on our roof that were in dire need of repair by the local power/utility company. Since the utility company has made the repairs (same night), we have had no further issues with our equipment. Greatly appreciate Matthew’s diligence in troubleshooting as what he found was something that could have potentially sparked a fire had the issue not been addressed in a timely manner (according to the utility company technician).

We are so pleased with our service from Scott. He was friendly and knowledgeable and did all he could to find the problem with our plumbing. We had called the state to look at the issue and they were in and out within 15 minutes and claimed they could not detect a problem. He was here for 2 hours and did detect the issue and was very proactive in getting it resolved. We will definitely call this company in the future and refer them to our family and friends.

As a first time homeowner, you can imagine my fear when I heard someone tell me they suspected I had a plumbing leak. I called Stuart Services after finding them on Google, and they sent someone out the next morning at 9am.Billy (William) is the reason Stuart Services will now be my go-to for anything plumbing, AC, or heating related. He went above and beyond to assure me everything was going to be okay, and that he’d get my leak fixed the same day. He was quick, friendly, and was able to immediately diagnose the problem. Even though he had to cut into my walls, he made sure to triple check that I was okay with that and cut the cleanest lines so I could put the same drywall back in the spot. And when other folks would have taken me to the cleaners on price, Billy was more than fair.I truly can’t thank him enough! Highly recommend!

I broke a pipe at 8AM on a Saturday which caused me to have to turn off the water to my house. By 9:30AM it was fixed. The emergency repair cost for coming out on the weekend stung a little but the plumber was professional, helpful, polite, communicated the issues and was able to perform the repair as inexpensive as possible. I am an out of town landlord. It's very hard finding contractor in New Orleans that is fair and honest. I contacted one contractor, he charge me $300.00 just to unstop a toilet then tried to charge me $1500.00 to snake a clean out. Prompt, responsive, informative. We had an electrical issue in out TV room - the fuse kept tripping for no reason. Patrick investigated it and did a great job of explaining the issue and giving us options to resolve it. He wasn't even going to charge us for the visit.

I purchased a hot water heater two years ago which came with a warranty. I also purchased the home safety plan which provides discounts on service calls. My request for service were scheduled which was very important to remedy the issue I was having. The fuses for the water heater needed to be replaced; I now have hot water again. I am thankful for the prompt attention to my request and the care given on the call addressing the non-functioning water heater. The water heater was checked with nothing found wrong. I am glad it was nothing more. An electrician also came out to check the breaker box and the disconnect box. Nothing found as to the source of no hot water. The hot water heater is fully functioning now. Thanks for coming out promptly making my Memorial Day weekend much better to have hot water. Thanks.

The service they were paid to fix was complete although they did not replace the sheet wall. My stove was used as a ladder and they cracked my stove top. It took many phone calls to get ahold of someone to reimburse me for my stove. A month later I finally received reimbursement but already purchased a new stove bc the oven stopped working as well. Unfortunately, I’ve lost trust in Stuart and don’t think I will use them again.

Stuart did an excellent job of correcting the builder’s annoying mistake from 40 years ago of not venting our exhaust cooktop hood vented properly. It’s nice to have this mistake corrected from it being vented back into the kitchen to now through the roof!!! I’m now looking forward to boiling shrimp for my shrimp stuffed mirliton, and frying fish with the odors going outside, and not inside our home

I highly recommend Stuart Services!! We were having some electrical issues that caused both of our hot water heaters to stop working. Ed inspected the breaker and fuse panels along with the hot water heaters and recommended installing a new breaker panel and service panel do to faulty wiring etc. CJ did the install and was great even though it was a really cold day and took longer than expected he made sure it got done and never complained. I found one of my outlet plate covers melted. Nothing had been plugged into it for about a year. The guys came out the same day and went above and beyond, not only replacing the outlet but tracking down a problem at my breaker box that had allowed the outlet to get so hot without throwing a breaker. Without going through the whole story, which would probably be beyond my understanding to correctly explain anyway, it turned into a three-hour job. Despite that, they stuck by the original estimate for a simple outlet replacement. They were also super friendly and communicative through the whole process. I’d recommend them to anyone needing work done.

I called them to come out to inspect and service my HVAC unit. They came (not on the initial scheduled date however) charged me $270 for repairs and within a four week time frame, the unit went out again. When I called to have someone come out to rectify the problem, they not only charged me another $49 fee but told me that there is a new problem and it can cost up to $1000 to fix. They didn't empathize with me or even offer to waive the fee seeing that the initial inspection didn't find the new problem. My unit is still under warranty and only four years old. I think the tech did a quick fix to what may have well been an existing problem. Nonetheless, get two estimates beforehand to try and eliminate being bamboozled.

I was having drainage problems in my bathroom so I called Stuart Services for help, based off high google ratings. Steven arrived to do a drain clean out and did not have all the equipment that was needed to do the job. A camera inspection is supposed to be included with drain clean out, which the plumber did not have. I was told that someone would have to come out the next day in order to finish the job. I called and asked to speak with a manager regarding someone having to come back out the following day. Donald returns my call and starts the conversation off with “ yes I was told you had a problem with the $200 emergency fee”? No Donald I had a problem with the job not being done 100% in one setting. By the way, I was charged a $200 “emergency fee” for the plumber to come out in the middle of the day (3pm). I informed Donald that the job was not completed. Donald says”well the video inspection is complementary, you don’t have to be inconvenienced and have it done tomorrow because it doesn’t need to be done”. Complimentary? Oh that’s not included in the $343 price tag just to clean out my drain? Every truck should be equipped with a video camera if that is what comes with a drain clean out, right? Not according to Donald. Next day another plumber shows up and was not able to get camera down the drain “too many twists in the pipe”. Told me to call the city and ask where the city clean out was. Guess it wasn’t important because it was COMPLEMENTARY. What a waste. Won’t waste my time with this “big named” company again I’ll stick to the people that run their own businesses and actually care. Their motto should be “no warranty no guarantee”.

Had a leaking pipe creating a major sink hole in my front yard. Called Stewart Services and had a technician at my house right on time the next day. Scott made the whole process completely painless, explaining the scope of the job to me and being completely upfront about pricing. Couldn’t be happier with the work Scott did and will 100% be using them for any other plumbing issues I might have

$1,600 proposal to replace (3) compression fit 1/4 turn shut-off valves in a powder room, reinstall an existing toilet on an existing flange and sweat (2) new hose bibs in the laundry room. Area was clean, free of obstructions and maybe would take an hour and a half for one person. I can't think of any way that this is a good value for anyone.

Josh did a great job tracking down the problem with my toilet. He checked and rechecked it. Because Stuart had done the installation, I was charged nothing for this repair. It's working perfectly now!

Josh did an outstanding job replacing my house regulator. He was polite, professional, knowledgeable and extremely thorough.

I called in in the morning to schedule to get my AC fixed. Basically, the capacitor burned out and need to be replaced. They put me in their system and asked me to wait for their call. I waited all day and called in many times to check — closed to 5PM they told me they cannot make it to “regular hours” and could have somebody come “after hours” with an extra $200 fees. They could have just told me at the beginning and I could have found another service, instead of wasting my time. I definitely would not recommend this place to anyone!

Annual A/C maintenance after new unit purchase 4 years ago.

I called for an after hour repair for an emergency water leak from an old water pump by the ac unit. Mr. William attempted several times to repair the leak and was able to fix the leak just enough to be able to turn the water back on for tonight. Great customer service! He stayed until the job was finished and is scheduled to return tomorrow to complete the repair. Will definitely use the company again for future service.

Excellent service. Less than 5 minutes after I called, they called back to tell me an electrician was on the way. I needed the placement of a power cord brought up to code. He quickly evaluated what he needed and fixed the problem. I will use them again.

Do NOT trust Stuart Services, especially for AC repair. They treated us fairly in 2012 when we needed a hot water heater replaced, but when we called them for an AC repair, they charged us $249 to replace a capacitor and clean the unit. They also gave us an estimate for $7,700 to replace the existing unit.Problems were legion. First, they didn't actually clean the unit, just idly ran the hose over it. Had to pay another company to do it for real (with solution).Second, they replaced the capacitor without replacing the fan motor, guaranteeing both would burn out.Third, they quoted $349 for a new fan motor saying we needed another one of the exact model. However, another technician installed a generic one for less than half that price.Fourth, the $7,700 quote wasn't necessary according to another technician and, even worse, was a full $4,000 over market value. FOUR THOUSAND DOLLARS overpriced. I have one estimate for $3,700 for such a unit and two coupons in the mail for similar ones for as low as $3,500.Do NOT trust this company and do not pay for any work without getting at least one other quote.Very sad considering I had such a good relationship with them at one point.

I had two problems - one simple, the second more complicated. He fixed the first in no time, the second we agreed to set up another date because it was more complicated and I didn't want my bathroom to possibly become unusable until parts were available.

Billy was knowledgeable, professional, and extremely determined to solve our problem. In addition, he was polite, personable, and a pleasure to have perform our repair. I would be pleased to have him return to work on any future plumbing issues we may have.

I've patron of Stuart Services while training & living in NOLA. I had first used Stuart when my AC stopped working and had to be serviced, esp a Southern Summer. I was very pleased with their management & quality of work, so much so that I wanted to find a Stuart Service' in Sugarland, Texas. Stuart set an exemplary std. &, luckly, i did find to find a comparable company. However, lately within the past 2 yrs, the Stuart Standard that i am accustomed has changed &compromised. No longer there is the management efficiency & 'quick as a whip' intellect of 'Joy', the person whom 'sold me & impressed me to Stuart & its highest quality of professional licensed Tradesman. I'm almsot embarrassed & even hesitate to recommend to recommend Steuart to my colleagues & people in NOLA whom ask for references from me for their consideration when in situations concerning HVAC-Electrical-Pluming. I have contacted Stuart & informed them of my dissatisfaction & that it will be posted; and more importantly, that if they do not find a remedy so that it doesnt continue & happen again ,3x already, I will be looking into another ,equally competent in services & management that i'm accustomed to when 'joy' & the original owner had set the Gold Standard.-the no excuses' because never was necessary!

I had a bad experience while trying Stuart Electrical Services for the first time.After completing a walk thru of the property and pointing out the necessary electrical repairs to the technician “Jeffrey”, I waited beside his company van while he wrote up the repair quote. After entering all the repairs into his company computer, he verbally went down the list to make sure he had everything. After reviewing the list and adding the vent fan in the bathroom because “o yea, I forgot that one”, he submitted the work and gave me a flabbergasting high quote of $5,738. I thought this quote was about double what it should have been but I reluctantly agreed because I was leaving town and I needed these electrical repairs completed for my tenants in order to get power and hot water.The first sign I had made a poor choice in contractors was the day after “all repairs are complete” by Jeffrey when I received multiple messages from tenants telling me there was still no hot water(I had texted the tenants the hot water should be working - after I got the “all repairs complete” by Jeff). I went to the property as soon as I got back in town to see what was going on and I found no electrical power going to the hotwater heater. I sent a text message along with pictures to Jeff letting him know the hotwater heater was not getting power and he replied he would come out and check it. After troubleshooting the problem he found “a short in the new breaker box my guy installed”. I asked if his guy had checked to make sure the hotwater heater was getting power before he left and Jeff replied “ he should have - but obviously not”. One day later after “running to get parts”, the hotwater heater was finally getting power and the tenants were happy.But the problems didn’t end there - the fan in the bathroom HVL still has not replaced and the company is claiming “it was not on the invoice”. I spoke with “Brittany” in the office and asked her to please call Jeffrey because he and I 110% for sure looked at that issue while doing the walk thru and he absolutely had it on his list of items to repair when we verbally reviewed them from his van. Ms Brittany said “I can write you up a new repair order if you want”? omg. No thanks - I will never use Stuart Services again for anything.Tony Valenti

I was told over phone that there was not a diagnostic fee. Not true . The plumber spent 30 minutes at my house looking at my gas lanterns. It cost $177 and didn’t fix issue. Very nice and professional plumber though.

I work for The Orchard, an Apple Specialist in Baton Rouge. Our shop has a lot of computers both in the show room and in the tech room, so when the air condition went out, there was no time to waste. The first repair company we called came in with a quote to replace the whole compressor at an outrageous price. Stuart Services was my next call. I talked to a real person at that dispatcher who set up a time of my choosing. Chris R. showed up promptly and immediately got to work. When he was finished he explained exactly what was wrong in easy terminology, and he researched found our compressor to be under warranty saving us a huge chunk of change. Also while he was here he was able to get me an estimate on some electrical work i need done. Their price was right and the service was top notch. Not only would i recommend their services, but i will be using them for all future project for The Orchard.

They charge me service fee separately with repairing, and said one service fee for every trip. The working location is within 5 miles away from their company. And they guy only changed a breaker and charge me for 350 bucks, and they claim this to be the market price. You can compare and find a better company than these people.

We had some particularly challenging circumstances with the condensation line plumbing on our AC unit. Stuart’s team explained in detail and with photos the complex nature of the repairs required. They had both a plumber and a AC tech on hand to reroute the line. They were on time and very professional.This wasn’t the first time we used Stuart Services and it won’t be the last.

We needed a completely new air conditioning system. I cannot say enough about our experience with this company. First, Matthew came out the same day he was called to check out the job and give an estimate. He was polite, respectful, and, completely knowledgeable about the problems and what needed to be done. I had someone come out to see about debris from an AC vent. The salesman Matt was professional, knowledgeable and respectful. My only complaint is they are pricey as far as getting a full system, which apparently is what I need. They do seem to use well built products though, so maybe that’s the reason the prices are elevated.

DO NOT USE!!! They came out to clear a clog in my main sewer line and left without checking it was fixed. They charged me $325 and when I flushed the toilet after they left it immediately overflowed. Problem was not fixed. I called them back and could not get them to come back. They tried to blame it on the city and wanted an additional 350$ to come back out. They should have never left without the problem being solved. Horrible customer service. Complete waste of money.--Update, I was able to talk to someone in upper management who was much more helpful. I just wish I was able to know that the problem was not fixed before they departed because I would have had many more questions. Overall, I'm not sure if I would use them again but I would not rank them as being completely dishonest. The customer service on the back end genuinely seemed concerned and tried to work out the issue.

Matt was great today. He not only fix the problem, but identified why the drainage line continues to get clogged. This was the third time since the HVAC system was installed in 2014 that Stuart Services had to come out and clear the drainage line because the AC stopped working. Also, every annual spring maintenance visit the line was cleaned, but no one ever could provide a reason it was happening. Until now, nobody had taken the time to determine the root cause of the backed up line. Matt determined, there was a second pee trap installed when the new drain pan was installed. Matt explained the issue clearly, and provided quotes to fix the issue. I will request him going forward.Thanks,Rob

My toilet was running constantly. After an enormous water bill I called Stuart Services as I saw a service truck on the roadway.Although I had to wait a few days for the repairman, he arrived promptly in the rain, put on shoe boots and changed some parts in the tank.Unfortunately, the fix wasn't the fix.He had to return, and although I had to wait a few more days, once again using the shut off valve to stop the running water as the tank didn't fill, the same repairman, Bob, return first thing, and fixed the issue completely, well, so I thought.The very next day I had the same issue, constant running and tank not filling unless I jiggle the handle.Called Stuart Services, Josh came out.He explained that because I have an older toilet it needed a longer chain, which he provided and, 3rd times the charm.Thank you Josh F.

Knowledgeable and courteous electricians but WAY overpriced. They charged my mother $600 to inspect a short and replace a dimmer wall switch. My electrician would have been less than half that.

Called Stuart because my regular a/c repair company was flooded out due to the 2016 Flood in Baton Rouge. Quoted me $69 to come out. After only walking in the door and listening to a description of the problem told me $249. (Could have told me this over the phone.) Proceeded to add freon as there is a leak somewhere. Had to take an hour break for lunch and to get additional freon. Could Not find the leak so unit NOT repaired. Told me I will probably run out of freon in a month or so and need to get repaired. Then quoted me an additional $337 for finding and repairing leak. Unit is less than 4 years old. Rip Off!!

The electrician did an excellent job. He arrived on time, had all the equipment and supplies needed. The power was off for a relatively short time. The repairs looked very substantial and neat. He also cleaned up the site thoroughly. Excellent!

I’ve used them a few times and have plumbing and HVAC service plans with them. A little more expensive than other companies but they do good work, and are very responsive.

Called early in the morning and the plumber was there just after noon. We discussed the problem, looked at options and he gave me some good advice. He gave me the quote, I agreed and he started right to work. He explained what he was doing, the reasons why the problem may have occurred and why this repair would take care of the problem in this part of the system. The result was a solid repair job, quickly done, at a fair price and that I had a high degree of confidence solved the problem. In all, a very positive experience.

When Chris came to my house to service my unit he was training another technician named Chris. From the time they walked in my home they were professional. He asked if this was maintenance or something else. I said maintenance and he explained the process. After diagnosing my unit he explained in detail what needed to happen and the service they we’re providing because of the training. He showed me the reading of my unit before and after; which was a lot better after the service. Even though I was rescheduled multiple times due to circumstances beyond their control; the service that Chris and Chris provided was impeccable.Great Team Work!!

Matt was the only service provider who was able to determine the cause of my underperforming AC, despite many yearly maintenance visits from another company’s providers. After a thorough inspection and a clear explanation of the problem, he gave recommendations and options for repairs ranging from replacement of only the system parts that are failing to replacement of the entire system, and explained the pros/cons of each option, which I greatly appreciated. He was also able to provide a temporary repair that has made my home livable in 95+ degree heat until replacement parts can be installed in a few days. In addition to his professionalism and knowledge base, Matt was affable and a pleasure to work with. The wait time for an initial appointment was minimal, and office personnel were efficient in scheduling a visit and reliable in returning phone calls. I’m very pleased thus far with Stuart Services.

After Hurricane Zeta, a fallen tree took out the powerlines and ripped the wires and panel off my house. Guys came out quickly, assessed the work to be done and completed it promptly. I had a wonderful experience with Stuart Services. They installed a new hybrid water heater in my garage as well as hydro jetted my french drains in my backyard. It was hard to find a plumber who knew what a hybrid water heater was, much less get a complete quote from one. Not only did Stuart Services answer all my questions, but they had excellent customer service by following up with me after the quote to ensure that I had everything I needed with no pressure to sign on the dotted line. They may be a bit more expensive than others, but the customer service you get is worth it!On the day of installation, I had multiple Stuart trucks outside my home and the installers were very nice, even when there were hiccups. Adam, Bryan, Nick, CJ and Josh were all there to help answer any questions I had and help get my new spaceship up and running. Would not hesitate to use them again!
