My wife and I recently purchased a home and needed our hot water heater replaced. We called around for a few prices and found Bobs plumbing to be very fairly priced. The man we spoke to on the phone was very helpful and imformative. We decided to use Bob's and boy are we glad we did. The work was scheduled for the very next day. Our first impressions of the technicians were great. They were clean cut, on time and got right to work. Before we new it, the job was done and we had hot water again.I would not hesitate to recommend Bobs plumbing to family, friends, or anyone that needed their services like we did. Bobs plumbing is great. When I called about a slow toilet that wasn't flushing I spoke with Frank and he and his technician came out right away. I decided to replace my old toilet with a new higher one. Mr Frank and his technician did a fabulous job and even replaced a broken flange for a reasonable price. I have had them come in the past for other plumbing problems and they always fixed the problem. I would recommend this company to anyone who has plumbing problems because they stand behind their work.

This was my first time using Bob’s Plumbing and I’m very glad I did. Josh and Marty did a fantastic job installing 3 toilets, repairing some incorrectly installed pipes (installed by different company) under my sink and replacing the supply line to my dishwasher. Bob's plumbing is dependable, trustworthy, and honest! Their plumbers and techs are extremely knowledgeable. Mr. Frank looks out for your best interest, not what will make him the most money. They had the best price on a water heater and better quality than the stores. I also mentioned in passing that I was unhappy about something with my brand new dishwasher. They looked at it and fixed the quick problem for free. I will absolutely call them again!

My wife and I just moved into a new house and discovered a leak in the hot water heater. Bobs Plumbing came within 24 house and replaced it with a new unit quickly and cleaned out the lines. They also cleaned out our bathroom sinks for no charge! Heavily recommended!!!

We communicated with Frank on expectations and costs. We sent pics of the tub and motor. Frank even suggested we try certain things to fix the issue ourselves. Josh and Bernie were on time and very professional. They came fully prepared to repair or replace the jacuzzi tub motor. We were very impressed with all aspects to include estimate and details involved with the repair work. Bob’s plumbing is over an hour drive from our Napoleonville but they are the best by far. We will call on Bob’s Plumbing again when we are in need!

Bob's Plumbing came out and moved our downstairs Water Heater. That was fine, but after they left, we found that the upstairs was no longer getting hot water. They came back out, decided that the Water Heater was just too old, wouldn't work and we would have to buy a new one. We got a different plumber out, who figured out in minutes that the problem was that there was not water going into that Water Heater, so it wasn't the device at all. After multiple calls and multiple lies and broken promises, I don't trust them to do anything.

Had an issue with gas water heater over holidays. Worked with me to fit me in their busy schedule. Courtesy call to let me know they were on their way. Promptly arrived at scheduled time. Very knowledgeable, professional, courteous and efficient. Offered short term and long term options to resolve issue. Took long term solution and had them replace water heater.

I found Bob's Plumbing on here and decided to give them a call, based on all the positive reviews that they had. I am so glad I did! These guys have first class customer service. When I initially called, I spoke to Frank. He was great and really took the time to talk to me about the problem I was having. He was able to give me rough estimate of how much my bill would be. Next, we scheduled a time to come out, and they showed up exactly when they promised. The plumber, Mike, was very nice and courteous. I liked him instantly. As he started to work, it was evident that he was highly experienced and knew exactly what he was doing. I could not have been more pleased with his work. His helper, Matt, was equally as wonderful When it came time for the bill, it was exactly what I had been quoted, which was a sigh of relief. I couldn't have asked for anything more. It was precisely what you would hope for in terms of hiring someone to do a job at your house. Everyone there was courteous and professional, along with having very reasonable prices. Bobs plumbing has done over 300 jobs finishing up kitchens and bathrooms we put in. We have never, not even once had a customer issue or complaint. Bobs men are clean, polite, and well-mannered. Bobs Plumbing has worked as well for my grandparents and their properties for over 30 years, my grandparents are hard but fair people to work for, they found Bobs plumbing to be a reliable company who is very fair priced. You get what you pay for with Bobs Plumbing. They do what they say their going to do.

Bob’s was recommended to us and did not disappoint. They were the only company who said they could send someone out the next day to detect my toilet problem. Other companies wanted me to wait weeks! My hot water heater broke, the plumbers I usually use were unavailable so I was cold calling plumbers and I found Bob's. They came out with in an hour with a new hot water heater and had it installed by the afternoon, they were great. Excellent experience with Bob's Plumbing, who went above and beyond the call of duty when my water heater went out. It was a Wednesday afternoon and we were without hot water. I tried many different plumbers, none of which could take my job before the weekend. I got Bob's number from a co-worker and felt lucky to find them. They squeezed me in early Friday morning so I'd have hot water during the weekend. Their price was completely competitive with any other plumber. The workers arrived on time, were courteous and professional, and finished the job quickly. I moved their business card to the top of the stack - Bob's Plumbing will be my first call now. YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED.

I just had the opportunity to meet two really good guys, Josh and Marty, who fixed my plumbing problem. As I was taking a shower, I noticed that the water was draining very slowly. I then flushed the toilet only to see the water back up into the tub. I tried some chemicals, but that was futile.

I got out my phone and asked for a plumber near me. That's when I connected with Bob's Plumbing at 800 Hickory Ave. I called about noon after returning from school already resigned to a three or four day wait and a thousand dollar repair bill. The person on the phone told me they would try to be here this afternoon. They showed up around two, and it is now 2:35 with the drain cleared without me having to go to the bank for a loan to pay them. Needless to say, I am quite pleased. Recommended? You betcha.

I have used Bob's plumbing on multiple occasions. They repaired an on-demand hot water heater, toilet and installed a dishwasher. All I can say is that it is a blessing that we discovered Bob's Plumbing in Harahan!!! We were prepping a small rental house for closing of sale. A somewhat complex situation arose with correcting the problems on the inspection list and post act of sale. In the course of correcting these problems, we had the occasion to deal with Frank, the Office Manager, and three plumbers: Josh, Marty, and Mike. Don't know what we would have done without them. Frank was super-patient and cooperative. The plumbers were all very knowledgeable, professional, and super easy to work with. Our only regret is that our advanced age, we did not discover them much earlier in our lives since they have been around for over 50 years! Only giving Bob's a five-star rating because there is nothing higher!

Had two men come to my house to do some Plumbing work. Had to change rubber pipe to a copper pipe on my hot water heater and ran into some extra work that needed to be done. They immediately did the extra work without hesitation. The work consisted of drilling a hole through the outside wall by my hot water heater to let water drain out of house . Work was done in a timely manner and very professional. Would highly recommend them to anyone who has any plumbing problems whatsoever.

If there were six stars I would have elected them all. I first met Bobs Plumbing when I remodeled my kitchen. He installed a gas line in for me to use in my fire place. This was in 2009 and I have used him ever sense. I also have recommend him to other people and they were very happy with is work. When you call him for service he will tell you when he will come and it is most likely the next day. If he can't make it that fast he will call you and let you know he will be there. Most likely the day he was suppose to be there but at a different time. He also takes care of a preschool and church I am involved with and will send someone the same day even after hours if needed. I wish there were more people that are dedicated to service as he is. Thanks Bob and your team.

I needed a tub drain line leak fixed that was difficult to reach and contacted a different company who gave me a high estimated that involved cutting a hole in the ceiling below for access. I decided to contact Bob's and sent pictures of my issue to Frank who told me they could fix it without cutting a hole. Mike did the job the next day and saved me $450. I definitely plan to use Bob's again.

Frank, Mike and Matt have been wonderful in helping me get plumbing work done on my home. I had smelled a gas leak and had Entergy come out and they ended up taking the gas meter off! Bob ‘s plumbing is not only the BEST plumbing company-Bob is a great person & has valued me as a loyal customer. I needed my water heater replaced. I googled plumbers in the metro area and found Bob's Plumbing. I immediately checked out the reviews from others and made the call. Darren, Frank and Josh could not have made this any easier. I was immediately impressed that they showed up wearing gloves and masks before entering my home . It is obvious that they are taking the necessary precautions to not only protect themselves as essential workers but to homeowners as well . That spoke volumes to me . They were all so polite and explained exactly what they were doing throughout the process. Had I known this would've been such a smooth process, I would've called them sooner . Form our first conversation, I had a good feeling. I must say that they have excellent customer service......which is only surpassed by their knowledge of plumbing. They installed a new Toilet and disposed of my old one. The turn around-time was minimal and the cost was incredibly reasonable. I would recommend Bob's Plumbing to anyone.....5 stars, BABY!!!!!!

I've been a fan of Bob's Plumbing ever since Bob came out and gave me a free estimate for my mother's old floor furnace that needed a hard to find part. Within less than 2 weeks he found one and had her in great shape for the cold weather. Much better than using a stove to try and heat her house! Can't say enough kind words about Bob and his crew

I will definitely be a repeat customer. Frank and Marty showed up when they promised and accomplished the repairs I needed amazingly fast. The price was very reasonable compared with the experiences I've had with other plumbers in the east Jefferson area. Keep up the good work guys!

Update. If there were 10 stars available, I'd check them all. This is three years later than the above paragraph. Frank and his crew installed two water heaters in my attic at a very reasonable price quickly, expertly, and clean. Frank and Mike were especially helpful in getting these installed in a hurry because we're having company for Thanksgiving. I couldn't say enough about how much I recommend them.

Bob's Plumbing has done my work for over 10 years. All the guys have been great. They arrive when scheduled and leave place as they found it. Reasonable rates as well. Worked for me in metairie and uptown. Great job

My hot water heater decided to finally die the Saturday afternoon before Mardi Gras. I called Bob's Plumbing and was immediately able to get in touch with Frank. He was incredibly helpful over the phone and provided clear instructions on how to shut off my water and drain the old hot water heater. He managed to squeeze me in for a new hot water heater installation on Mardi Gras afternoon. We are in the middle of a very odd cold spell, so their responsiveness over a holiday weekend was very appreciated. On Mardi Gras day, he and Josh came and installed my new hot water heater and fixed the odd plumbing set-up the previous owner had in place. They were very fast and knowledgeable. I have nothing but good things to say about them. I have also used Bob's Plumbing to install a new bathtub after my previous one cracked due to being improperly installed (not by Bob's). They did a fantastic job on that as well and you can feel the difference in the support.

We used them for winterizing for many years because we are from South Carolina. This year after leaving Michigan, I called to have them winterize only for them to tell me that the cost had more than doubled!!
By that time we were already over 900 miles away and had no choice but to pay a totally ridiculous price! We could have taken care of it ourselves had we known the price was going to increase by 125%. So much for customer loyalty.

After getting an abnormally high water bill on a Thursday night, I called Bob's Plumbing on Friday morning to request a leak inspection. Frank had Mike out at my house by 12:30 PM on that same Friday. Mike did a thorough inspection of the situation and gave a detailed, honest explanation of all the possible problems that could be occurring with the water lines, how they would need to be remedied, and a rough estimate of the cost. Frank called me Friday evening and planned to have two trucks out the following Wednesday or Thursday to do the work. Frank followed up on Tuesday morning and let me know his crew would be at my house Wednesday morning. Mike and his crew were on time on Wednesday morning and replaced the water service from the meter to the house first. Lucky for me, Mike and crew discovered that was all that needed to be replaced after initially thinking they may have to go inside several interior walls and the attic to replace additional water lines. Frank, Mike, and the crew are timely, honest, and communicative. They did what they said they would do when they said they would do it. I appreciate their professionalism and quality workmanship and highly recommend their services.
