We an emergency situation. After first falling in despair, I then called this company. They arrived within 15 minutes(!!!!) and the job was taken care of within another 30.

Excellent experience! Came to look at the job, received an estimate by email quickly, hired for the job and by the end of the week it was done. Would highly recommend.

Expert Lighting assembled and installed my two beautiful Schonbek chandeliers in my Philip Starck NYC apartment! I was very, very impressed with their service. They were so professional, came on time, worked efficiently and were so very knowledgeable. I could not have been happier with their whole service and was so happy we chose them. Thank you Expert Lighting for all your hard work and amazing service! I would highly highly recommend to anyone needing chandelier installation, restoration and/or cleaning. AMAZING!!

So as a backdrop to this review, note that I never give one star reviews except in case of severe problematic behavior on the part of the company, which I am now convinced of.

So we ordered and had YSG Solar install our solar panels back in 2018, and while there were issues after the installation (partially due to Covid, but also due to bad installation issues causing us to fail inspection twice), we were willing to let bygones be bygones because the system was working and we just wanted to move on. However, in March of this year, our system stopped working, and we’ve been trying to call them over and over but no one picks up or ever calls back (which is doubly problematic when their operations number says that they’ll return calls “within 24 hours”).

We’ve also now discovered that even though our contract states “25 year performance and labor warranty”, they never extended the warranty of our inverter. You can only do so within the first two years of purchase, so it is now impossible to extend it, and with YSG never responding, our only choice currently seems to be paying someone else $2K to replace the inverter because YSG won’t return our calls or emails.

Note that I also have a BBB complaint against them, and I’m not the only one - do your research before using this company!
