I contacted this company about a clogged kitchen sink and water leaking from my dishwasher. He replied within minutes and was able to check out the same day. He discovered the problem was a clogged pipe in my basement. He got the parts I needed, installed everything and freed my sink and my dishwasher stopped dripping within hours. He gave me a very reasonable price and was very honest and friendly. He took the time to explain the issues and how to avoid future problems. He is now my point of contact for all plumbing work and I would recommend his services to anyone.

Javier was great! My water heater needed replacement. Five star plumbing had no openings, but they were able to adjust their schedule to fit me in. Very professional and thorough.

I left a negative comment other day without knowing why we had not got a call back... I want to apologize for that comment... Barbara was out with the flu and she is the Only one in office.. I spoke with her and received what we needed immediately. Once again I apologize for jumping to a negative conclusion... Customer service is best it can be with only 1 person in office.

During the last big storm we had, our tub was leaking (and so i thought), i called a big plumbing company (not listing name) out to take a look. They told me they would have to come back with some equipment to open up my wall and shower to replace some pipes, but we would have to replace the wall behind the tub and reinstall the tub/shower after pipes are replaced. I didn't feel comfortable with what they said but ended up having to pay them $80 for their diagnosis/estimate time. I decided to get a second opinion and called Jim based on a friend's recommendation. Thank God I did. After a long consultation he saw that our pipes was cracked and had burst, water was coming up from UNDER the house!!! Much bigger problem, but most importantly he found the real source of water damage. Fortunately he was able to fix the problem before damage was done to our house. One thing I have to admit about Alameda, we have the best small town honest local business owners. Jim is a local plumber and soooo reliable and nice. He saved my house and me from having to remodel our bathroom for no reason. I will totally recommend him to anyone and his business card earned a spot on my refrigerator.

Chris did a great job with all three projects in just one week! He was skillful, professional, accomodated our schedule, observed covid protocols, wore shoe protection in our home and cleaned up after each project. His prices were more than reasonable. He answered all questions patiently and always returned phone calls. He used high quality replacement parts, clearly discussed our options with us for each project, provided before and after photos of his work. Over our 40 years of home ownership we have never had a better experience with a plumber. Highly recommend!!

Very responsive, showed up on time, explained the possible causes for the leak, gave me estimates, and fixed the problem for a fair price. Would definitely call them again.

When I need to change a water valve for preventing leak, I got a number from the previous owner and contact this company.
An old man Phil asked for 720$ for a valve change. I like WHAT ??? a valve cost 9.39$ in costco and 5 minute to change in youtube could cost that much? Even a lawyer don't cost that much. who do he think he is, famous celebrity plumber in the world or what? Do not reach this business as all cost.

I tried to call for estimates and the service agent, Mia, scoffed and hung up the phone. When I tried to call back, she blocked my number. When I called from a different number that service agent was extremely unwilling to help in any way. Use at your own risk. If management would like to contact me, I'd be more than happy to speak to them.
