They scheduled me within a couple of days of calling. Kellen was very courteous and professional. He showed up when he said he would. He did excellent work and when he left he cleaned up. I’m very pleased with the outcome. I would definitely hire him again.

Jeff has helped our Make-A-Wish family twice now for their room renovation wish and have been so great! Jeff helped install faux brick paneling on the wall, install new lights for a super high ceiling, and replace a projector with a new one.

Also working with My. Handyman to book and schedule is super quick and easy. They have been so generous and kind to work with, and I will absolutely be using them in the future!

We have used Mr Handyman for various things at our home multiple times, they are a great company and have true craftsman and team that works with them. They have R&R my break metal around my Windows, replaced siding, tiled a bathroom, done Drywall repair, painting, built two rooms in the basement, removing a wall. Custom closets installed, they have a licensed plumber that has done multiple jobs for me since we have an older home. Great job and affordable pricing also! Will always call them for my home repairs . Thank you!

I called regarding a sliding glass door repair job and the job was completed that day. Door works like it is brand new.

It took him over 5 hrs to assemble a desk that only took 2 1/2 with my other desk from a different company. The desk was 300.00 and they charged by the hour and it cost me 617.00 for them to assemble. I will never use them again and will discourage others as well. Charging by the hour is not a good value.

They made me custom kitchen chair seats that were beautiful! Highly recommend .

It was a pleasure to work with the craftsman who you sent. He provided both muscle and ideas to complete the task in a few days, while it would have taken me more than twice as long by myself. My deck is now to code, looks correct, and will serve the next owner well.

This company is a sham! This project was a disaster from the start. I needed someone to hang one closet shelf, in other words install two brackets for wire shelving which I already had on hand. I was told there was a minimum charge of just over $150/hr. I was told I could give the tech other jobs to fill the hour charge so I went along with it. When the tech left, there were several holes in my wall and of course he didn't move on to any other projects. Too busy making holes in my wall I suppose. When I saw the holes, I called the company, e-mailed the company, but they never responded...for an entire year! They made sure to keep sending bills out while not responding to any of my complaints. I have before and after pictures as well. I called recently and Bob, the owner finally answered. He said he never received my e-mails. I again forwarded my e-mails to him that I had sent over the year and he said their server had maintenance issues and that's why he didn't respond. But he did say that he would not fix the walls and that he was sending my bill to collections. He also spent the morning calling my place of work to tell them I didn't pay my bill. Well, this was comical and....that's not how it works Bob. Great way to treat your military though. Clearly business is slow for you. This guy and company are as unethical and incompetent as they come. Stay far away.

Chris came out to fix some 3 way outlets, install a bathroom vent and install some Alexa devices. His service was professional and he had a vast range of knowledge. We had him return to install some more Alexa switches and were once again extremely happy with his service!!!! Will use again

Technician was early for appt. He was efficient, very knowledgeable, and super nice. Will call again.

I had them come out and change a kitchen sink and a garbage disposal. They told me their hourly rate (these are estimates) of $250 and every quarter hour after that is about $25. They said the job would take about 2-4 hours. I asked for the estimate without materials and they said its would be from $500-$600. I asked them to get the materials and so they did. The technician does the job and the office calls me and tells me the total is $574. I had no problem paying it and then they called me again and said they forgot to add the materials to the invoice so the actual amount is $950. The technician took his complete 4 hours and I asked them to honor the first price they gave me and they said no. Mr. Rooter gave me a quote for $900 and i told them I will take my business elsewhere. They also told me that the garbage disposal isn't working because the outlet is dead so I basically bought a new one for no reason. I asked them if I would be charged for them to come out again and they said yes. I am completely displeased with their customer service and their miscommunication. DO NOT USE Mr. HANDYMAN!

The job that was suppose to last 3 days lasted 25, double in quoted cost, I bought all supplies but got no reciepts for supplies they purchased.

Replaced popcorn ceilings with new surface. Kellum did good work.

They called ahead of showing up, most of the work done by one man. He had a helper part of one day, and explained why. Great job.

I have had several experiences with Mr Handyman. For the most part I have been very happy with the results and the Service team. They are my “go to” place for my fix it needs.

I have a 20' deep garage with a 24' boat and trailer. Mr. Handyman
constructed 4 ' kick out on the back wall so I could easily put the boat in the garage. Workmanship was excellent.

I wrote an honest and negative review about this company last year. They wanted me to delete the review so they charged me what they should have charged in the first place.

Thinking they wanted business, I emailed them a week or two ago requesting a quote/estimate on some sewer work and asking when they could get someone out.

They did not reply to my email. They did not even bother to reply with a lie to put me off. If they did not want my business, which I see they do not, a reply would have been nice because my job is to review businesses.

I may re-publish the review from last year due to this.

The gentleman that came out to quote my job was very professional and helpful. While I did not use the service this time, I can see using them in the future. The job was something I am able to do myself but wanted to know the cost for the convenience of having someone else do it. If it was something I have never done, I would have definitely used him.

Very quick on painting and love the work he did

Daniel was great!! He moved our old oven to our garage and moved and hooked up our new gas oven up in no time!! He was courteous and quick!

They were late for a 2 hour window (and did not call).... The work was great, however, The billing is fishy at best. The man was in our house for less than an hour total and we got charged for 2 hours AND a service fee. I would not recommend them at all. Honesty is not their strong suit.

We were very happy with the work done by the Mr. Handyman professionals. Jeff & Enrique were very professional &,knew what they were doing in refinishing furniture damaged over the years.

Matt was both professional and knowledgeable about our project. He worked steadily and the quality of workmanship was superb.

I normally do any repairs or renovations on my own, but have just been too busy to do some drywall repair. I tried Mr. Handyman due to the ease of scheduling and seemingly professional set up. The work done was no problem, but done quite inefficiently in my judgement. The handyman covered much of the area with plastic to make a few cuts in the drywall which I appreciate. It took him 1.5 hours to do so as well as the drive time to go buy plastic and the cost of the plastic. I was not aware he would need this material as I would have provided it other wise. This in total costed me well over 200 dollars due to the time spent and the materials. For 200 dollars I can hire someone to clean up the drywall mess and my entire house.

The first time someone was supposed to come to my house they were several hours late. My wife had taken off work to be home wasting a day of PTO. I also used a day of PTO to be home for when the handyman did show up. In hindsight, I should have just taken the day off and done the work myself and saved well over a thousand dollars.

If you are completely an unhandy person and don't have access to YouTube, this company may be for you. It is not a bad company by any means, just do not use it if you expect to have great value. In this case I don't think a drywall company would have done such a small job. I was also not impressed by the handyman smoking on our driveway. I learned my lesson and would recommend an independent handyman to anyone in my situation.

Update (11/22)

I emailed the company and have not heard back from them. My father-in-law send pictures of what was done to a man he knows that does dry wall. He was far from impressed by what work was done for 1500 dollars. Again, I'd absolutely avoid this company if you value your money.

The crew helped me clean out my brother's apartment and get his furniture to Goodwill. I would have been lost without them. Good workers and good guys.

Fix the broken fence and install the light on my garage

We hired Mr. Handyman to install a shower. They arrived on time, moved the existing plumbing, and gave us a perfect installation. The service man was knowledgeable, friendly and really knew his stuff! We are very happy with their service.

I was very impressed with the professionalism of the work done. The work always started on time and I was kept informed of the progress and timeline as the job progressed. The entire team at Mr. Handyman was courteous, professional and a joy to work with. I will definitely recommend them to friends and family and will use them in the future.

I had Mr. Handyman of Wichita come out to give me quotes on a couple of items ranging from a faucet replacement (I already had the faucet) to some refinishing and window sill replacement projects. They came in and did a great job on replacing the faucet same day but I've struggled to get the other estimates for work that I requested. I understand that this was all during the middle of the COVID situation so some grace granted there but at this point I can't give a higher rating without more follow up.

As a follow up, I did get the estimates I was looking for and had some additional work done as a result. I had them replace a couple of window sills that we’re going bad and I feel like they did a good job at a fair price. There were other projects that I decided based on the estimates to pass on a couple of the projects and do them myself but that’s ok....that’s the info I was looking for.

I wanted a closet icould really use! Being a 1950's house, closets and bathrooms are postage stamp sized..lol. when Kendall arrived I explained what I wanted and he came up with the option to build me a custom organizer that fits perfectly. He was efficient, professional, and friendly. I can't thank you all enough....I'm thrilled with my new closet.

Mark built some new steps in my mother's garage, which are much safer as they are extended. He also put in handrails on each side. He was very courteous and explained his plan to make sure it was what we wanted.

Only do estimate over the phone. They don't usually go out and look and the job first.
We-have been told by the lady who answers the phone. They just expected for us to give them the job...lol ???? Never heard of such a thing. We need 3 estimates in writing. (not guessing) They don't do that she said. Too much of a hazzle.

Tarena at Mr. Handyman helped a mortgage customer of mine that needed a window replaced. She coordinated everything for them and communicated well throughout the whole process.

I used Mr. Handyman to lower some cabinets in our garage, paint them and and also paint our stairs. and a couple doors. Jerry, our technician, did a fabulous job. He worked quickly, offered some advice and we could tell he was experienced. The project was completed in record time and everything looks great - he also cleaned up the area for us and removed the trash left behind. We will be using their services again!

Bob and Tarena sent someone to work on my rental house and they showed up on time and did an excellent job and were fantastic! Highly recommended.

I had a rental property that I was prepping to sell, but still had tenants living in it for their last month. I emailed Mr. Handyman a list of all of the problems in the home that I needed to fix prior to sale, and had a phone conversation with them about which ones on the list would need to be fixed, with THE MAIN PROBLEM being the electrical outlet on the floor in the living room.

They went to the house and let the tenant tell them what to fix. They asked the tenant if they used the outlet on the living room floor, and when they said no, instead of fixing it, they blocked it off with a plate.

For a bill of $680, I had a leak under my sink fixed, 2 outlets trouble shot, 2 outlets just left not working, and one outlet blocked off (the only one that really needed fixed), and they put a shower door on the tracks for me but it just fell off immediately again.

It was highway robbery. Also, when I tried to discuss the list that they IGNORED when they got to the property, they tried to act like I never sent them a list. So frustrating.

Stay away from these people.

Charged $100 an hour and took almost 6 hours to replace 2 pieces of siding and prime them.

This place is a sham! I called Mr. Handyman and I described my house and that I needed a plumber. They sent a guy who was not a licensed plumber who cut a hole in my ceiling and tried to patch the problem and left it. They said they’d sent a licensed plumber the following Monday. I said no thanks. I called three times to cancel the appointment and the receptionist said she had recorded my request. I got emails confirming my cancelled request. I called again Monday morning to cancel again and they still sent the plumber out! I had scheduled a new licensed plumber from a different company to come out and it just so happens that Mr. Handyman plumber showed up at the same time. I look out the door and he is harassing the licensed plumber from the other company . I go outside to see what the problem was and he’s harassing me about not collecting payment for the hole that his company left in my ceiling! This company is a scam and a sham and I wouldn’t recommend it to anybody. I had a completely horrible experience with Mr. handyman of Wichita!

Kellen came over this week to demo and install new drywall as well as new flooring in my bathroom. I was very pleased with the work that he did and would not hesitate at all to ask for him on other home projects. He was very easy to work with and communication was excellent! Thanks!

I needed screen replaced on our screened in porch. This company went out of its way to accommodate us and our schedule. The workman they sent arrived on time and did a wonderful job. I especially like how they match their employee's skills and experience with the job.
Another employee came a second time and fixed sticking doors, a hole in drywall, installed a chair rail, fixed badly fitting molding, and did extensive touch up painting. I couldn't be more pleased.
Another recent need for two fans and wall switches installation was successfully accomplished by this company. Reinstallment of a shutter bIown down in a wind storm, plus replacement of two bathroom light fixtures were another hour's work. I love how they always have the right people for the right job, and I don't have to worry!

Mark came and took out the broken picture window in my back door. He came back with a brand new window and the trim to hold it in. He got it all done very quickly. My door looks better than it did before the window was broken. Mark was very professional and courteous. I will be using this company again!

Mr. Handyman was very professional from start(which was delayed) to finish. when they started the project on my bathroom Todd explained everything that needed to be done and did it very fast. when there was a plumbing problem Todd called in and Jim came out and did the plumbing and fixed the problem. This was the third time we have used Mr Handyman. The service man was prompt and very knowledgeable. He provided several options on how to complete our job. We will contine to use this company, and will recommend them to our friends and neighbors.

I've used this company on a half dozen occasions. The first time went pretty well. The next time, I had to have them return twice for the same fix as the original tech didn't fix the problem. Then i had to wait 2 months to get an invoice because they said they don't have my email address, again, and when they call act like it's my fault they didn't get paid. Well once again a guy came out 2 months ago to look at a leaky sky light. Did the work while I was gone and never heard a word. Now I'm getting phone calls about payment and just received a bill with the words Past Due Invoice highlighted in yellow on the front of the envelope. Of course they didn't send it by email because yet again they said they don't have it. But I get frequent handyman tips from them all the time. Well Mr Handyman, I'm NOT late with my payment, your incompetent billing department doesn't know how to send prompt invoices. You will get your payment but, with those 3 words on the envelope, it will be my last payment as you just lost a customer. And if my skylight does leak, I'll find someone else to fix it.

I scheduled service to be performed on my home on Monday and was told there would be someone our on Thursday at 1:00. I received a call at 12:50 letting me know that they would not make it out and would need to re-schedule. Our call was lost so I had to call back in after not getting a call back. The girl then proceeded to tell me that the earliest they could have someone out is on the 24th which is 12 days later. What a joke of an organization. Worst customer service I have ever dealt with

Repair of small drywall around vent satisfactory and installation of ceiling fan successful. Repairman could not figure out how to install ceiling fan remote I provided but charged for his time anyway. My main complaint about this company is the cost, not the service. $120 per hour labor and 500% markup on drywall.

The cost of the materials was way over charged got a like $20 piece of wood up charged to $90 which added basically added another $100 onto the bill otherwise the customer service and the worker who showed up were awesome the handy man they sent out was very nice & knew what he was doing and I even learned a couple of cool tricks watching him. Overall had a good experience.

We had quite a bit of wood rot and water damage on our sun porch. Kellen with Mr. Handyman did a phenomenal job. He was able to take out all the rot, repair everything, and replace a door. The floor doesn’t squeak anymore when we walk out the door. Quality work all done in one working day!! We will definitely be using this company again!!

Was very impressed that I could provide materials and they were able to install, repair existing attic access and get a switch repaired next rather than just replace the attic fan . They also did some AC supply pipes joint taping for some extra efficiency in a new construction home much less expensive than the builder’s contractor would do if for. I like this company. Good communication from office and repair personnel. They will hear from me again!

Jerry did a wonderful job of installing a new front door, replacing the handle on my storm door, replacing trim on two other doors plus other things. Went to Lowe's to find a replc for a door I bought 6 yrs. ago. They told me it was discontinued. Found a similar door. It had a built-in shades in the window unit. I asked them if they had someone that could exchange the windows, they said no.
Bought the door, stopped by Mr. Handyman & asked Tarena if they could help me. She said I will have Mike Palmer go over Fri. b/t 2-4 p.m. I have owned over 10 homes in the last 40 yrs. I have hired a lot of help. Never seen a technician work so fast, accurate with a solution in mind. I had things ready for him. He had my old door with a new window unit installed in a short time.

I called up on Mr Handyman because I heard they were cheaper then plumbers. They are indeed cheaper and the gentleman I had here this morning fixing my kitchen leak was very professional and did the work within said time and stuck to the quote. Being somewhat mechanically inclined, my friends and I installed a retractable awning over my back patio. It wasn’t quite right, however, so I called my friends at Mr Handyman to come have a look. They took it down, figured out our mistakes, and reinstalled it properly in a timely manner. Tarena coordinated everything beautifully and made it a worry and stress free process. My wife and I are very thankful!

They came to clean the Wood on our kitchen cabinets. When I wasn’t completely satisfied on their first effort they came back and fixed our issues. They did a great a job.

We needed to have our storm door reattached to the concrete base of our shelter. Jeff, our technician, assessed the condition of the door, replaced and reinforced some of the wood, added new heavy duty hinges and latch, and sealed up the previous hinge holes in the concrete. He was knowledgeable, speedy, and most of all friendly as he worked. His work was of the highest quality and was done in the time he quoted beforehand. We will definitely use Mr. Handyman again and recommend them to anyone needing home repairs.

I’m currently in the armed forces and I was looking into getting a TV mounting in my home for my family. I used Mr Handyman’s services thinking that they would provide exceptional service as they say on the phone and their website. I was mistaken, for starters they had to reschedule my appointment for later in the day, which they told me about that at the very last minute. When I had to opportunity to finally get my TV mounted I had to jump through hurdles to get the driver a pass on base, and turns out the guy had been riding around with expired registration papers from 2015 in his vehicle. I then called and explained to (who I assume is over the store in Wichita KS) a man named Bob about the inconvenience this has placed on me and while he’s going on about how the vehicles are always up to date to which I reply “obviously not Bob” he goes to say “you know what, have a nice day, find some one else to mount your television”. Completely uncalled for, completely unprofessional, completely NOT needed. I give this company 1 star, even though I wish I could do not a single one.

This was my first and last time to call Mr Handyman! They came to my house to check my water heater and 15 minutes later I was $188 in. I had one fuse that blew and that cost me $188. I was told they would come from 2-4 they showed up at 11:30. I was in a meeting that I had to dismiss myself from since I had no idea they were coming so soon. The lady on the phone also wasn’t the most helpful person stating I didn’t need a licensed plumber to do the job then all the sudden I did. They not only didnt get my hot water heater to work but I then had to ask for a receipt to be sent to me via email to have my name completely wrong on it. I brought my business elsewhere, I will never be calling them again!

This company came to our rescue when other construction companies could not help us for 2-6 months. Professional visit within one day of our call to complete the estimate process and was extremely detailed. Indicates that work could begin in 2 weeks. We are now awaiting approval from our insurance to accept the estimate then will immediately book for a date to complete the water damage repairs to our kitchen.

Living in Texas, taking care of my active but older mother in Kansas, Mr. Handyman comes in, well handy. I can call them and tell them what the issue is and they fix it. Gave them a 5-Star Review because they earned it.

They came out and installed a door and screen door.

I used the carpentry services for trimming out door ways in the basement. The carpenter they sent did a great job on the areas that needed trim.

Had a great experience with our technicians Michael and Ryan. They knocked out the furniture assembly which would've taken me a day in an hour and a half. Would be happy to recommend Mr. Handyman to anyone with an excessive honey-do list.

I cannot stress enough how wonderful this company was to work with. They were at our home within 24 hours of us calling. I had Mr. Handyman replace a mailbox and post, as the lid on my old mailbox kept flying open on days with high wind, throwing my mail out, which was unacceptable. They came up, took the old mailbox out, put in the new one, and it looks great (and the lid closes). Would highly recommend.
