Before Pacific Plumbing was involved my home warranty insurance company sent 2 other agencies. The main issue was Roman tub faucet low pressure and hot water did not heat up. The first agency was a horrible experience and 2 plumbers later with their bad communication and customer service I refused to let them back into our home. After contesting and arguments I finally was able to get the insurance to send out another plumber but after proving my case from a home inspection done before we moved in stating the plumbing was fine. The 2nd plumber made the issue worse, and now we had to shut the main water supply off because he broke a valve on Roman tub that did not stop leaking water everywhere. The next day the insurance company sent him out again to fix the problem, but I had to spend a few hundred dollars to have a tile installer cut through my tile on Roman tub just so he can work on replacing the faucet, because the insurance company said they don't cover tile repairs. There's more to this nightmare, but I feel cut this short. Finally we had ourselves somewhat of a break with insurance company. After calling back on my home warranty I had one of the worse experiences ever with a rude agent for my insurance company. After being on hold for an hour the agent basically said my insurance won't cover my problem and refused to get me a supervisor I requested of him over three times. He said he's going to hang up with me. He rudely hung up without any solutions or transferring me to a supervisor. So, the lucky break was when calling back to file complaint with customer service I ended getting an agent with integrity, initiative, and excellent customer service. He said usually these circumstances required a separate service call but he will send out one more plumbing company to try to resolve the issue, but after this there's not much more that can be done. So Pacific Plumbing arrived. By the way, not all reviews are legit as they are customers opinions and some people just give bad reviews just because they weren't happy for one issue. Anyhow, I believe the majority of reviews usually have some truth behind it. The other plumbing companies my insurance sent, horrible reviews. I looked up Pacific Plumbing, excellent reviews. Long story short, Pacific Plumbing had a challenge trying to find the issue why hot water side of faucet wasn't getting hot even after a few plumbers later. In the process they fixed and replaced cartridges on two of my faucets hoping to solve the problem of water possibly mixing from pulling cold water from shower, a common problem with Roman tubs if shower valve or cartridge is bad. Well Dave, in charge of it all was definitely on track. Let me tell you this, this hot water thing with the tub not heating up was a mystery to multiple plumbers and I later found out the original owners couldn't find the issue. So to shorten this issue leaving out many details. Pacific Plumbing was professional, they didn't abandon problems, they wouldn't give up in finding the problem, no matter what it took. Finally after Pacific Plumbing was out with 3 plumbers 3 separate times and also Dave over the phone making strategic decisions, involving 4 plumbers total, the best was to come. These plumbers went into our attic and found a mixing system in the attic dedicated to the only the Roman tub. This system is to prevent scolding and mixes cold and hot water before it reaches the tub. Even the original owners of this 2013 built home couldn't figure it out, and that was after the fact they had the builders and contractors of the home saying everything is running perfect. So they by passed the mixer to my request and for the first time, we have hot water in our Roman tub. It was a long journey, and I only written of some of these details. Bottom line, hats off to Dave and Pacific Plumbing. Thanks David, and thanks to your dedicated plumbers and techs. I will recommend you and always use you as my goto plumber. Job well done!
