Hired these professional plumbers to install gas logs on recommendation from Home Depot. Had 10 am appointment but tech didn't come until 5 pm. Expected to be instructed on do's and don'ts of apparatus. I'm a nurse. If I gave you a shot, you'd expect me to tell you what to/not to do, right? I had the same expectations from Bobby the plumber installing my gas logs! Was not instructed how to use apparatus until I specifically asked. Was not informed that I needed to open chute even though I have ventless logs and chute was not opened by tech. Smelled strong gas odor with each use. Called company to report gas smell after 1st use. Did some troubleshooting over the phone with Todd. Was informed they were very busy (due to bad weather here) and wouldn't be able to get to me for a week or so. I was ok with that. Bobby came back out today. I didn't realize I would be charged for the call out since I JUST paid for the install and IMMEDIATELY reported something was wrong. Not only was I charged $105 after I just paid $257 (which was $75 higher than my phone quote from them) to have unit installed, but Todd got very nasty with me over the phone and told me that he just sent an expensive tech to my house for nothing and a waste of time when the tech could have been on a $10,000 job. How rude!!! I have been very patient with them due to their busy schedule, and to be treated so rudely is despicable! What if I lit a candle or something and my house blew up due to the gas in the air?? Would that still be for nothing?? I paid the $105, but I will not recommend this company to anyone and will not use them again.

These guys area a godsend. After trying for months to find a company to install a gas heater, they were on it and here the next morning. Bobby was our tech, he was very helpful and worked quickly. He helped explain our new system and answer our questions thoroughly. We will definitely be using them again and I highly recommend them!

Recently had a tree cut and stump grinding done. Water collecting on front yard made me fear the sewer line was damaged. Had a plumber come out and run a camera through the line. They claimed that the sewer line was cracked and in need of repair. The estimate provided was substantial. Apart from plumbing work, the job would have required my front yard and possibly sidewalk to be dug up.

I contacted Carl for a second opinion. Within 3 hours, he came out to my property and ran his camera through the same line and to my surprise, there was no crack. No tree root damage. No work to be done at all.

American Service Specialists saved me thousands of dollars just by being honest. It is difficult enough being a single female homeowner without having vendors take advantage. It is definitely a relief knowing that moving forward, I don't have to worry about who to turn to for plumbing needs.

Beyond excellent service!!. They responded to my call for a minor plumbing issue and had someone here within the hour. I am so amazed how perfect the technician was. He fixed my small problem and with just the very reasonable price of the service call, he even checked out and tightened both the faucets that might have had problems later. This is the best experience I have had with a plumbing company in the 20 years we have lived here.
Before you try anyone else call Todd. He is MY plumber from now on.
