I rarely post reviews but this was a must. We had a back up in our bathrooms and showers and needed a plumber to find out what was going on. The cleanout hole is in our garage and everything was coming out of there so we needed someone ASAP. I called 8 different plumbers and Hiniker plumber was the ONLY one that had so much Knowledge when I would ask questions. Julia (receptionist) had so much Knowledge about plumbing as if she was the one doing the work. If I going to spend some serious money,i wanted to know what they had to do and she answered all my questions. She assigned a man by the name of Gary to come out. She said he's going be early and made it priority for him to come the very next day at 9. He showed up at 830 And was able to figure out what was wrong, which was a broken pipe on the city side. Gary was the sweetest and made sure he was telling me what he was doing the whole time. He gave me advice on how to go about fixing the issue and with in 3 days the entire concrete was broken up, pipe was fixed and the concrete was replaced by the city. I will totally recommend HINIKER and definitely use them in the future.

Hiniker plumbing totally over charged me for work they did. I called my insurance adjuster and they told me that I overpaid that they ripped me off. I usually don't leave reviews but I'm not too happy and I will never use this plumber again nor would I refer this plumber to any friends. I picked this plumber for the reviews. However, my experience does not validate any of the reviews. Taking advantage of people and their situation is not right at all and if that is how they run their business than they don't deserve anyone's business! Never again!

Our Kitchen Sink clogged up yesterday, the day we closed Escrow on our home (because of course.) We had to call a plumber this morning, and as we had used Hiniker before more than once we decided to give them a call again. They were able to send someone out the same day, and Rick, the gentleman who arrived, was by far one of the nicest, most efficient plumbers I have ever seen. He was very helpful in not only taking care of the clog very quickly, but went out of his way to help explain a couple of things regarding old houses and their plumbing setup (which we definitely have.) He also offered to check our water pressure (because clearly, he can't help being an awesome person I suppose.) You could tell he cared about the work that he does, and also cared about giving my family a great experience. Finally, the price as always was very reasonable given the work that was done. I gotta say, you guys are just the best around when it comes to this kind of stuff, and Rick is a fantastic example of why that holds true. Thanks so much!

Had the best experience with my plumbing needs. Used Hiniker a couple years ago and really liked their knowledge and work. Had another plumbing issue and also needed a new sink faucet installed. I experienced the same quality of service and professionalism as last time. Had a slight problem with the sink install and they came back out and fixed it with no extra fees. I was blown away by just how much Hiniker Plumbing Cares about the work they do. I was staying at a friends house when their water heater went out. Yikes no hot water!!! Obviously I was a little stressed because I didn't want to make the wrong decision for my friends, while they were out of the country. I had a clog in one of my cast iron pipes. They came within reasonable time frame. They showed us how we can unclog the pipes our self for the future.

The guys at Hiniker were fantastic! I suspected I needed a line cleaning, but couldn’t find the clean out cap. They came out, ran some cameras, installed a clean out cap (had to cut into the main line in the front yard), and hydro jetted the line. They made sure everything was clean and you can hardly tell they’d been digging. To top it off, they even helped an elderly neighbor with her trash bins. I would recommend them to anyone and will definitely be using them again.

When our ancient water heater finally died, we didn't consider calling anyone but Hiniker. Vincent was very nice. But Gary clearly doesn't need or want the business. He was rude on the phone and when I backed off some of the requests to reduce the size of the bill, he walked away from the job totally. Have no idea if they are competent or not, but the arrogance was stunning. I’m sure I can find a more professional manager somewhere else.

After our “plumber” sent out twice by our home warranty didn’t fix the issue, even though he said what it probably was, and over several months trying to get them to send someone else to fix the problem I decided to try another route. Found Hiniker on yelp with great reviews. Called and got an Appt for 2 days out, but about an hour later they called because of a cancellation and could they come today! YES please! Danny was prompt, knew what was probably the issue and fixed it right away! Thank you!

I contacted my home warranty company to report a problem since my wood floor was hot in two spots. They sent their contracted plumber who wanted to charge me $4800 and said he would need to rip out the floor as well as my kitchen cabinets and granite. I had a hot water slab leak and called Hiniker immediately for a second opinion. I’ve been using Hiniker since 2007 when I purchased my home. Tina was so helpful and sent Lou & Danny who were able to fix the leak with minimal damage to my home. They opened one small area of a wall as well as one small area of stucco behind the sink. The price was half of those other guys and no demo needed!

Thank you Hiniker Plumbing! I had a smelly odor coming from my kitchen sink and two of the three plumbers could not find the source. Lou was dispatched to help and resolved the problem in no time. He replaced my dishwasher drain hose and the garbage disposal. Since he did such a great job I had him replace my kitchen faucet. I would definitely use Hiniker again.

Hiniker Plumbing responded quickly when our toilet backed up. The technicians were respectful and knowledgeable and wore a mask while in our home. We decided to have them install a clean-out to alleviate future problems. It turned out to be a bigger job than expected due to the root system of our Gingko tree but we weren't charged extra for the hours spent digging. The job turned out great. Will call them for any future needs!

So today we hear a gurgling coming from the bathroom for some strange reason. When we look, the bathtubs and one toilet had filled up. Needless to say, I can't fix it. I check yelp and the first company I checked was Hiniker Plumbing. My first call and Gary picks up immediately. After describing what was going on, he says let him check his guy and he will call me right back. It must've been only a few minutes and he calls back to tell me Jeff could come over in about 30 minutes. I don't even think it was that long and Jeff was at the door. He was very polite and professional, checked a few things out and got his tools. In less than an hour he got everything working again. Apparently flushable wipes aren't so flushable . Jeff explained everything and what I could expect as time progresses and gave me an estimate for the future.

Jeff also gave my kids a couple hats and magnet! How awesome is that?!?! I am glad I called them and chose Hiniker for our plumbing problems. I also hope I don't have to call again, but if I do, they will definitely be my first choice.

This team is really great! I had a serious leak in my pipes coming from the middle of the house, running through the slab, and coming out on the side of my house. Gary was able to detect exactly where the leak was located very quickly and called in Luis, a team member to assist. Gary and crew were very responsive about my kitchen repairs. Service people were prompt, professional and helpful. I would definitely use them again for other repairs.

First, this is our third experience with this vendor and each issue we have called them for has been fixed quickly and professionally, for a reasonable price. This vendor has great administrative support as the scheduler we spoke with made an extra effort to reschedule our appointment sooner based on the urgency of the issue. Saving a whole day or more on resolving our water outage is HUGE. So credit to their administrative staff for great support work. The guy that came out for the estimate and that did the work knew his stuff, top to bottom! He explained the best way to install a new water service and spoke in details that were easy to understand. He explained the associated costs and, most importantly he assured me he would do the work right and stood behind his work along with a one year warranty. I watched these guys work and two of them dug up my yard, drilled under the sidewalk and a brick fence... I figured two guys would be working about 3 days... maybe 2 days if they hustle. These cats don’t mess around. They had to go through 50 year old 8 inch roots... no problemo... Anyway they were done by dinner... He put all new valves like the pressure limiter... new valves... awesome!

I'm a real estate agent and three days before closing escrow on my client's house the termite tent came down and the gas company wouldn't turn the gas back on because they detected a leak that later could not be found.

My client's had a different plumber charging them tens of thousands and quoted a 2 week repair time which would delay closing along with their contingent purchase, setting back all parties involved.

Jeff worked from 8am to 11pm and repiped the entire house for us on a Monday so we could close on time for half the price. He was very polite and courteous and checked in with me on his progress. Integrity, efficiency, & reliability is a rare find these days. Don't risk going elsewhere.

We had just moved to our new home and on day 2 ended up with a slab leak. Another plumber had diagnosed our water leak and then basically went MIA. After several days and many many attempts to get the repair scheduled, I finally gave up and called Hiniker Plumbing, who I found on Yelp. Tina and Danny were super nice and helpful and sent Jeff the very next day (I called at 4:30pm on a Friday!) to diagnose and repair our leak. Hey, I leave more detailed comments on Yelp than I do on Google, but you know what? All you need to know is that this company has never failed to do anything but great work for me on the (now many) occasions I've had to call them.

Since writing the preceding paragraph I've had to have Hiniker Plumbing fix yet another issue that arose because I hired an extremely inept landscaping service to redo our irrigation. Thank goodness for plumbers who understand pipes, because landscapers who don't ARE THE WORST.

Well, yet another landscaper-induced disaster has been swiftly (and hopefully permanently) corrected. Since it is my goal as a reviewer of businesses in the age of the pandemic to never grouse about lousy workmanship, I will not be revealing the name of the landscaping outfit any time soon. It helps that I've already mostly forgotten them, and I would be very surprised if they were still in business. Thanks, Hiniker Plumbing, for helping me to erase all memory of that landscaping firm.

Great family company. I called and they came out the same day., within a few hours in fact. The service technician was friendly, explained what needed to be done and gave me the price for all the work to be performed before starting the repairs. All the work was done expertly and quickly. Gary, the owner, was the one that answered my panicked call over the weekend. I had overflowing toilets and a backed up shower. He told me what I needed to do until he arrived at my house. He put my mind at ease.
Gary arrived at my house at the time he said he would. He walked me through the problem, how he was going to fix it and the cost. Within an hour he had everything fixed, cleaned up and ready to go. He was very professional and left no mess for me to clean up.

Our plumber was amazing. He was friendly, honest, and up-front with possible issues. Our valve was stuck and he warned it may break, but he did everything he could and ended up getting it off and getting the job done. I would highly recommend Hiniker Plumbing to family, friends, neighbors!

Luis came to fix our leaky faucet outside and we’re so glad we found a trusty plumber around here. They came sooner than expected, work was quick and superb, and Luis was so friendly and nice! Price was fair and he took care of everything for us. Will definitely use again for any future plumbing issues.

Service was fine however I feel we were overcharged! For 2 hours of work and part cost of $75 we were charged $800.00- update they refunded me $250. So total cost was $550.00 which was appropriate for the materials and time and expertise to complete the repair. I would definitely recommend them

I would never use this company in my home. All of their technicians are covered in tattoos and can’t seem to shave.Their trucks have a babies on them which is very creepy. Your customers have to be adults so I don’t know why you would be attracting babies to your truck. Babies do not even use toilets ha ha. Why would you want to come to my home and look at my babies. Creepy hairy guys with tattoos in my house that are attracted by babies is not someone who I want working with my water. Their website is very poor as well it’s very hard to make an appointment even if you wanted to with these creeps.

Water pipe suddenly broke and put me in a crisis call to Gary Hiniker plumbing right away and he came over to save the day. He is my go to Plumber because he is so responsive quick reasonable and does excellent work.

Initial service provider gave honest appraisal, recommendations, and did what he could to fix our plumbing issue. When the initial installation was reviewed by Mr. Hiniker, he agreed that the parts provided by a third party vendor was not adequate, substandard, and sought to make it right at no cost to me. I appreciate Mr. Hiniker's integrity and desire to make sure the end product was to the customer's complete satisfaction. His company even followed up with me the next day with a phone call to make sure no further issues arose.

I’ve been looking for a steady reliable plumbing company and Hiniker Plumbing is the one. My kitchen drain was clogged from under the house and their employee Donell showed up very professional and had it fixed in a jiffy. The price was reasonable. 👍

Rick and Marco were great. I have used Hiniker before but this time, it was for a water heater replacement. I saw they really paid attention to making sure things were up to code. I could have gotten this through my home warranty company but I knew I that could end up costing me in the long run more. To be honest, their costing is fair; not the cheapest but when you see how their guys work and what they include as far as making sure the pipe routing is done more efficiently, there is a huge piece of mind in knowing the job was done well! I'll keep using them for other service calls if necessary. Also, when you call them, I think it's either the owner or Manager that answers the call right away, live which is really nice!

We had a leak at the front of the house coming from the street. We called these guys and they came out the next day. They found out we needed a new pressure regulator as well. I would recommend this company. They do quality work!

Installed a kitchen faucet which worked when technician left; but by two days later there is half the water flow and takes 4 or 5 seconds to turn off after handle is closed. He also redid the pipes under the sink that were leaking and replaced a cartridge on the faucet he took out. Company has refused to provide an itemized bill showing cost of materials used and how much each job was. All they will provide is one grand total. I feel I have a right to know the cost of materials. I have used them previously but never will again. UPDATE: I was finally sent a revised invoice showing cost per item done and that there had been no additional charge for supplies. Ultimately Gary Hiniker the owner came and fixed the faucet handles so they turn off correctly and cleaned out the aerator. So it was well resolved nicely.

We had a problem with our shower. We had another company (All City Plumbing) originally come by and look at it. They said I had to cut the wall open and install a faucet handle retrofit kit costing $1250. I then called Hiniker Plumbing. Jeff came out and said I had a bad seat on the hot water side. He changed it out for only $185. Now I’m back up and running and it works perfect! This place is awesome!

Water is precious and when i was made aware of a water leak, by way of a large water bill, with no visual evidence i contacted Hiniker Plumbing. The first gentlemen to arrive was Vincent and after a thorough and professional check through the residence he determibed that the issue was a slab leak. Dreading the upcoming jackhammering of my concrete slab imagine my delight when Gary Hiniker arrived and after intense troubleshooting was able to determine the location of not one but two slab links! Even more impressive he and Vincent were able to repair both leaks without having to reroute the pipes or remove any concrete. I was delighted. Both gentlemen were courteous, knowledgeable and very professional. Thank you for your excellent work.

After getting estimates from five (5) other companies, I chose Hiniker Plumbing as they were equally priced but seemed to have a much deeper knowledge of plumbing than the others. I hired them to repair: bath basin faucet; shower knob faucets; replace water pressure regulator; install water line for new refrigerator; install new kitchen sink, faucet, and garbage disposal including replacing all drain pipes. After all the work was completed, I decided to expand the project and added replacing my current water heater with a tankless water heater.
Gary Hiniker, Mr. Lou & Donnell were extremely polite and professional. Normally cleanliness is not something you expect from plumbers, but these guys went far and beyond to keep things clean including removing shoes or wearing shoe covers to protect my brand new carpet! I called Hiniker for a couple of things I needed done. They came out and charged me $300 to diagnose the two issues. They said if I used them to fix the issues I would get this credited back to me (fair enough). Well they diagnosed, gave me an estimate (found to be a little higher than the other estimates I got) and Donell (who was very nice) said his boss would call us the next day to set up service to be fixed. He never called and it has been 6 days. I feel like maybe they don’t want to do the job. Which is fine, just please let me know. Right???
