After our HVAC system caused a leak through our ceiling, Delta Heating & Cooling were quick to the scene and did a thorough job ensuring that the problem was fixed but also that it wouldn't happen again. The service was very professional and thorough, plus our technician was very kind and did a great job explaining everything. I'd say the only downside was the cost, but I think HVAC repairs are just costly in general, so it is what it is.

Delta Heating & Cooling replaced our aging gas water heater with a hybrid electric water heater. In doing our research beforehand, the found some people had issues with the noise the water heater generated. We shared our concerns with them, and they explained why the other units were making noise. Installation went well. The team cleaned up the space and left it in great shape and went over the inspection that the city would need to do. Another technician came out for the inspection with the city and it went smoothly. A great experience and we're happy with the water heater. Thanks!

Our house is 14 years old and the HVAC system had been giving us intermittent problems during the two or so years we had owned this house. We had a couple of repairs done during those couple of years but it was quite apparent that what was needed was a new system.

I spoke with three firms and decided on Delta Heating & Cooling. Everything I was told when I received my quote was exactly how the install went. The guys were great. They worked for two days (12 hour days) two get the two systems installed and running perfectly.

The install went very well. They left the place spotless.....other than the new system you cannot tell they were here. I am very satisfied and would recommend Delta if you have any HVAC needs.

I called Delta to replace a failing HVAC system. The guy who came out to do my estimate was very knowledgeable and talked me through the options available. I had planned on getting a few more quotes, but their cost was reasonable, the system was a definite upgrade and I liked how responsive they were,. Install went well, including required permitting and inspection. They also handled all the paperwork to get me a rebate from Duke Energy. My new system is working great. I would definitely recommend Delta if you need an HVAC system installed.

EXCELLENT service from start to finish.
Our heat went out Wednesday and I was able to book an appt for the next day. The person who booked my appt even took the time to call me when there were any cancellations. Two cancellations later my time moved from evening to the morning.
The technician Michael arrived on time and was informative and very polite. All costs were presented to me upfront. He explained what was needing to be replaced and why. Honesty I never have experienced this level of great service with this industry.

This company is the BEST hands down!!! My a/c had been messing up for about a month. We replaced the condenser two years ago, the motor fan early this year and now it's out AGAIN!! We were very worried and upset because we have already dished out over $5,000 in repairs over the last 2 years and it goes out on the 96 degree day! Well, Delta Heating and cooling to the rescue. I called around to several places and no one could come same day like all the reviews were saying but Delta quoted me a time and they even beat that time. Wendy was great setting up my appointment and Fred was very fast, efficient and professional. He had our a/c up and running within 20 mins of coming to our house and its very affordable! Michael and his crew installed two ductless units in an addition we had built on to our home a few years ago. We had consulted with him back then, but went another direction with our decision and regretted it ever since. After years of being uncomfortable in our addition, we contacted him again and he was able to advise us on the best and least obtrusive solution. I could not have been happier with Michael and the whole Delta team. I got 4 or 5 estimates and Delta stood out as the best overall choice in all categories including price. Our family room was not receiving any ventilation -- it was hot in the summer; cold in the winter. I called several HVAC companies to evaluate this issue. When I called Delta Heating & Cooling, I was immediately impressed. They were able to promptly schedule an appointment.

The technician, Travis L., quickly identified the problem. He explained how the ducting had failed and showed me photos. The repair quote was reasonable.

The Delta service man attended to our semi-annual service at the time requested. Due to the precautions that we took and asked Delta to adhere to, the service was performed exactly as we asked. Service was performed with a mask and gloves and our recovery after he left was easily done and was limited to wiping down our attic access ladder hand rail. Delta has always been very reliable and professional in their interactions with us.

Just had Sean, Kade, and Brian back out as we just moved to a new house. They installed a new hybrid hot water heating system, did a ton of HVAC work, cleaned the laundry vent and did a whole host of things that Michael noticed during an inspection. Kelly is amazing! She is very proactive. We needed a new coil for my AC and the part needed to be ordered. She followed the shipment tracking of the part and when she confirmed the date of the part arrival, she contacted me ASAP to schedule installation. That is fantastic customer service! The technician was scheduled in a 2 hour window and got to my house about midway that period. He called me about 30 minutes before he arrived.

He was friendly, courteous, and very professional. He wore disposable foot coverings in the house and even cleaned up the few fluffs of insulation that drifted out of the overhead access door.

Truly excellent service. Michael spent well over an hour talking us through all of the options when our HVAC died last week. He is very knowledgeable and clearly knows what he is doing. They brought us personal space heaters in the meantime until our appointment to get the heat fixed, which kept our house at a comfortable temperature. They spent around 12hrs on the day of the installation and at the end of the day Michael stayed to make sure our thermostats were set up and that we knew how to use them. I found Delta Heating and Cooling through my home warranty company. After having year after year trouble with my old system, I had enough. It was time to break down and get a new more efficient system. I spoke with Michael, the owner. He explained to me the different options I had to choose from. We just bought our first home and used them for the HVAC inspection. They were thorough during the process, honest about what repairs needed to be made and what could wait, and fair when it came to pricing.

After the inspection, I ended up hiring them to come out and do maintenance/the repairs they suggested. Our technician, Sean C, came out and explained that he was the technician that had done the inspection of our HVAC unit and was able to explain exactly what he saw during his inspection and provide other recommendations based on our older unit. He was super friendly, honest about repairs and suggestions, and communicated throughout the process. Overall, I was really pleased with Delta and would definitely hire them and Sean again for future maintenance/repairs!

A neighbor recommended Delta to us after another costly repair was needed to our original, inefficient heat pump system. We could not be happier with the service Delta provided! We had several companies give estimates for our HVAC replacement. Michael from Delta was the most thorough, taking time to answer all of our questions and make recommendations. Delta provided me a more complete detailed quote, at a lower price than any of the other contractors I contacted. So I was very confident there would not be any surprises. They arrived on time and were complete professionals during the entire process, from sales, to installation, to follow up. We are very happy with our new heat pumps and hot water heater.

These guys are super professional and amazing at what they do! They are able to give you a quote right away and answer any questions you may have. They'll inform you of any product promotional rebates that are coming up so that you can schedule your job around that if you like. The office staff is amazing too!

We received outstanding service by Delta Heating and Cooling, when they replaced our heating and air conditioning system. They were efficient, did the job in 2 days,, and cleaned up completely when they finished. A few months later, the circuit breaker tripped off, but they came within a few hours to fix it. They replaced it soon as well. The only problem is that our house is often Hot upstairs and Cold downstairs - often 10 degrees difference! It was never like that with our previous system, and I do not think it is normal for there to be so much difference.

I HAVE been keeping our air conditioner on circulate, which was Delta's only recommendation to me.  However there is still an average of 9 degrees difference in temperatures upstairs and downstairs.  The ductwork we have now is the same one we had with our previous air conditioner, and there was only a 4 degrees difference with it - which is more reasonable than 9 lr 10 degrees.  It is frustrating to have spent money on a new system that is not as efficient as our older one.Their first visit after they installed our system was in early spring 2018, so we had not gone through a summer.   Temperatures aren't as contrasting in winter.  But this large difference in temp. has continued throughout this summer.

Our heater was not coming on, so we searched online and came across Delta and with good reviews, we decided to give them a try. Within 2 hrs of calling the repair man was at our house reviewing our system. He quickly found the issue and had the part to make the repair. He gave us the price upfront, which we really liked. We also chose to purchase their yearly maintenance program which also gave us a discount on the repair he was doing. We spent about $270 for the repair and the maintenance program for 1 year. We were very pleased and have already recommended to our neighbors.

I called for a friend that is a single mother of 2 girls. She was having issues with her heat pump. She got great next day service. They found several issues and fixed them all the same day for a very reasonable price. I have also used them to replace my unit with an energy efficient heat pump. Was an absolute pleasure dealing with Delta Heating & Cooling from start to finish. Every appointment was on time and was met with courteous, knowledgeable professionalism. The installation team were efficient and polite and took every measure to ensure drop cloths were in place where ever required. Our installation was done on a Monday, and at no cost, our old system was charged sufficiently with Freon gas on Friday to carry us through the hot weekend. We will certainly appoint Delta later this year to replace our down stairs A/C Heater unit.

It was a nightmare to have this company to serve me. There were many serious problems that I have encountered with them:
1. The service response was slow. I called last Friday 7/29/22 to get the water leaking fixed due to a clogged pipe. Someone in the office recorded my information but nobody followed up with me until Saturday I called again. It took 2-3 days to get the service scheduled on Monday afternoon 8/1/22.
2. They would promote and sell many other services to you. The service guy Joseph upsold the whole maintenance package for $349. I was tricked to take the service and he was checking and touched every single wires of my A/C unit.
3. They would break your working function with lousy quality of service, and ask you to pay additional for their fault. My cooling system was working perfectly fine before Joe came, but he broke it when he finished the maintenance work. And I realized this in the evening when it was not cooling down. I had to call them first thing the next morning (8/2/22) to get the problem resolved. And the same guy came and fixed the issue, but asked me to pay for compressor failure. I refused to pay for their fault. I had to spent an hour to explain the problem with their office manager, but the office manager still insisted I have to pay for their fault. This is totally ridiculous and unacceptable.
4. They would threaten you to demolish your unit. After I refuse to pay for their fault, the service guy Joe started to demolish my unit, and released the freon. The smoke came out immediately. I was nervous and started yelling and calling 911 to get the help. The police finally arrived and stopped him, but I had to pay $75 to get this over. What a nightmare with Delta Heating & Cooling!!!
This is how they treat their customers. Be careful of being ripped off by them. WILL NERVE USE THEM AGAIN !!!

For my personal home I have tried many HVAC companies (and technicians) and was not very satisfied with the service. I used Delta Heating and Cooling, specifically Travis L. And I have no complaints as he was extremely professional and proficient. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a job well done.

They arrived on time and completed the work on time as well as supported me with the permit process...both with the HOA and with Durham. I highly recommend them for your HVAC needs.

We’ve used Delta for an install of a mini-split on our third floor and they did a great job with fair pricing. We were very happy with the entire process from start to finish.
Recently we had Delta come out to repair an A/C unit that came with our home when we purchased it. The technician was on-time, did a very thorough job, was incredibly informative about what needed to be done and our various options and helpful in walking us through how to maintain the system moving forward. We will definitely use Delta in the future.

I called this service under the belief that the electronic panel of the HVAC unit was broken (previously diagnosed by another company). It turned out it was a maintenance issue. The technician was polite, extremely helpful and the price was very reasonable (I know because I had contacted three other companies before). I was very pleased.

Michael was easy to work with and well-informed. The Delta install team worked diligently all day. They corrected some work original to the house in order to ensure that our new equipment worked trouble-free.

I definitely would call Delta again.

I'm new to the area and was referred to Delta Heating & Cooling. Travis Lynch showed up on time and was very professional. He explained what was wrong with the air conditioning system and what needed to be repaired after inspecting all the various parts. It's a job that requires an additional visit (parts need to be ordered), but I was very pleased with this initial visit. It's never fun to have your AC out but I'm happy with the responsiveness of the company (Travis was at my house the same day I called in the problem), and the easy explanations for me, the customer.

I needed to replace two Heat Pump units for my home, which is a costly endeavor, so I received four estimates before deciding on Delta. The sales consultant, Michael, was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. Michael listed out a few different options with a no pressure approach and provided me with the information I needed to decide on the new system. Kade and Darryl came to the house in a timely fashion, did an outstanding job, cleaned up perfectly and were overall very professional. Kelly from the front office was helpful in processing the appointments and walking through the permit inspection. Five stars and highly recommend.

I turned down company after company due to pushy salesmen before I finally gave Delta a call. Mike came to my house, took a look at my existing system, and gave me a few different options for replacement -- never once trying to push overpriced bells and whistles that wouldn't benefit me. A couple days later the Delta team installed my brand new Trane system and Mike was there to personally inspect it and go over it with me. Throughout the entire process I didn't have to lift a finger.. Delta handled all of the financing, pulled the necessary permits, submitted all of the rebates, etc. Call Delta for your HVAC needs.. you won't be disappointed!

Our machine was over 20 years old and requiring Freon every year or 2. Michael politely explained that this type of Freon would no longer be manufactured after this year and the price of refills would only go higher. He helped guide us to a decision we knew had to be made. We decided to get a new Trane and couldn't be happier with our decision. Jhon and Kade did a fantastic job of the installation and the system works perfectly. No one wants to get a new system and it's always at a bad time but the people at Delta made it painless and were very helpful and friendly.

just found out, if you buy 10yr warranty you STILL have to pay ~$200 every year for maintenance.

The installation of our new HVAC unit was completed today. Thus far, working with Delta has been a great experience. We got several estimates for a new system from a couple of companies and Delta offered us a better unit for a slightly lower price. It wasn't a huge price difference, but we felt comforted by the positive reviews we saw online and the professionalism Michael displayed while at our home, so we decided to go with this company. Price obviously matters, but I also want to feel like the technicians are going to do a good job.

In this case, they did. The system is now up and running and it feels great in my house. Michael was actively involved in overseeing the install to be sure it went smoothly from start to finish. He was very friendly and answered all questions comprehensively. The installation folks were also polite, seemed knowledgeable, and left our house and property clean and neat.

Buying a new HVAC system is a big deal and I feel good about how it went. I would feel very comfortable recommending Delta.

After getting quotes from numerous HVAC companies, we ended up getting a new furnace & A/C system with Delta. Their install was a bit more expensive, but was well worth it for the added product quality and customer service.

Michael came out to look at our old system and give me a quote. He knew a ton about heating and cooling, and shared a lot of info with us which helped us to better understand what we were buying and what the differences between the products was. We asked a ton of questions and he answered them all patiently and thoroughly. Michael was also present for some of the install itself and addressed any concerns/questions I had at that time.

We've had a lot of technicians in our home for various services since we moved in, but none of them stand up to the performance of Delta's techs Kade and Gabe. They arrived on time every day, were astonishingly hard workers, were professional and courteous, and most importantly I got the sense that they cared about my home and making sure that all of the small details of the install were tended to properly.

We called 6 companies when we discovered a ductwork issue under our home and needed an HVAC replacement. I contacted Delta on recommendation from a family friend who said they repaired an HVAC issue that two other companies could not figure out.

Delta was the fastest response time in both returning our initial call and setting an appointment with us. Then they completed the HVAC in a single day on 4th day after we decided to purchase through them. Notable because it was the middle of summer and we did expect some delay.

Michael did the estimate and was incredibly helpful in explaining the process and why he was recommending what he was.He made no attempts to upsell us or give us a salesman pitch, and explained how he was taking our house size into consideration with what he was recommending. An independent energy audit has since been performed on our house and that man confirmed that everything he told us was accurate and also commented that the ductwork install looked like it was performed very well. I had no idea that could make a difference until Michael explained how they can optimize energy use even with the ductwork layout.

Delta's quote came in the lowest, with a comparable or superior parts and labor warranty to the other companies we contacted. The two men, Kade and Darryl, who replaced the unit were professional, quick, and left absolutely no trace that they had been here once the job was done. They called when they were on the way in the morning and arrived within that window.

I don't think anyone particularly enjoys large unexpected expenses, but we were very comfortable with the process and experience through Delta at every contact point- office, sales, and install. We never felt pressured or condescended to during the entire process. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the company to any family or friend.

When our home's AC went out on a hot summer day Delta provided quick service (45 mins from time of call to at our home) after 5pm. The tech, Travis, was friendly and quickly identified the issue and had the correct replacement part from his service van installed within half an hour. Very reasonable pricing for the immediate fix. The service was so good we switched to them for our preventative maintenance going forward.

It was time for a new HVAC system and all new ductwork. Michael from Delta HandC was very professional and came back with a quote lower than others I've talked to. The installation crew did a good job and was thorough in their work, resolving all problems that they came across, even if was not due to anything they did wrong, but what was wrong with my old house. I would recommend them and I plan to use them for regular maintenance.

We used Delta Heating and Cooling to replace our upstairs HVAC unit in 2017 because they had the best price and our sales rep Micheal Gaier was an honest, straight shooter who obviously knew a lot about what he was selling.

On the day of the installation, one of the techs called in sick so Michael took his place and did what was necessary to get our unit installed - this was an 9+ hour installation.

Once installed, Kelly diligently followed up to set up our inspection and free checkups for the first year. They also made sure we received our rebates from the power companies.

When it came to replace our downstairs unit we naturally started with Michael and the Delta team. Once we received their quote we literally looked no further. We also received great financing terms for both units (0% for 3 years).

Delta has their 'stuff' together and are really easy to work with. I highly recommend them!!!

I had a new HVAC system installed in the fall of 2021, but I like to wait a year on services before reviewing to ensure everything still works and take into account any developments since day 1. I can say from the day they came out for a quote to the day they did a first follow up servicing the staff at Delta has been knowledgeable, professional, and easy to work with. The are very reasonable with the quotes and wont install a bottom shelf product like a contractor through Home Depot/Lowes will do. I 100% recommend their services to anyone in their service area.

Excellent service from Delta Heating & Cooling. Very professional and courteous. They did an excellent job on my water heater install and had them return when I needed to replace my HVAC system. Was able to get a better system for less than quoted from another company. I will be using Delta Heating & Cooling for any other future needs.

Love these guys, they do work at both my office and my house. They installed a brand new unit and had to deal with some interesting obstacles but the owner was there helping. We also had some bad work done on an old unit at the office, they came out for it figured out and fixed. They never give up on a problem.

Delta did a very shoddy job when installing our HVAC initially and it failed inspection. The system refrigerant was not filled properly.
Then we had to call them back and they replaced the refrigerant.
Now the system is not working properly in the summer and they are not honoring warranty by asking us for a service fee during warrant.
Please stay away!
